Why not?
- Trope Name:
- Date Launched:
- The 24th of September, 2020, I think.
- Short Description:
- A character who has died finds themselves in another place, a land through which they must journey in order to fully pass on.
- Wicks:
- 24
- The kind of help that I'm requesting:
- Examples and associated cross-wicking are likely the most important things right now, I think.
- Trope Name:
- Date Launched
- Nov. 29th 2020
- Description:
- An Original Generation Big Bad that appears in a Crossover work.
- Wicks: 9
- Help Needed:
- Need more Wicks and examples, but primarily wicks. Some help cross-wicking the already placed examples would be appreciated.

- Trope Name: Tongue Suicide
- Date Launched: 23 October 2020
- Short Description: A character tries to kill themselves (or threatens to kill themselves) by biting off their own tongue.
- Wicks Amount: 15
- What kind of help you expect to get: More examples and wicks. We can probably find a couple in the tropes I linked, as there can be some overlap.
- Trope Name: Video Game Randomizer
- Short Description: A mode (usually but not always a Game Mod) which shuffles around important features of the game to offer more Replay Value.
- Wicks: 8
- What kind of help you expect to get: Right now the thing we're lost on is, how do we crosswick examples of game mods without their own page? Do we just... not?
... Also kinda feel bad that we displaced Pet Positive Identification after just two hours. We weren't even paying attention to other launches <.<

Bringing this thread back

- Description:
- A crown-shaped item or artifact that grants power to those who wear it.

Which Harry Potter book is this?
- Crown of Power: The diadem of Rowena Ravenclaw is charmed to give increased intelligence to anyone who wears it; however, it is never used for this purpose in the books.

I'm back!It was mentioned in The Deathly Hallows, where Helena Ravenclaw mentions stealing the diadem in hopes that it would make her wiser.

I'm a bit late to this, but my thoughts:
I would suggest cross-wicking the example on the game's page—or perhaps on a trivia sub-page for the game; I'm not sure.
My Games & WritingI was thinking that you could simply write a page for the mod.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanGame mods can also be listed on a Fan Works subpage for the game. In that case the wick would go to that subpage. It's not necessary for every mod to have its own work article since I'd imagine that most of them lack the necessary trope examples to qualify.
- The Porker mod for Team Fortress 2 causes all the guns to make oinking noises.
Umm, great. That's not TV Tropes article worthy by itself.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"
Ever Launched a trope, get tons of hats and a good initial push, but it ends up being buried in an avalanche of even newer tropes?
This thread is an experimental, purely community driven solution to the New Trope Problem, AKA the lack of visibility after the initial push.
Simply follow the format and hopefully a fellow troper will check out the page and add examples or wicks on trope pages!
