Pull current regardless of replacement. The OP is an improvement, but I'm not really fond of that either.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.The OP is more directly illustrating A Degree in Useless IMO. (Can we use entire SMBC strips? I keep forgetting.)
The author said they were fine with it in the past, so I assume so.
Pull current regardless. Iffy on the suggestion for reason mentioned .
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Way too texty. Pull.
Pull current.
Looking at the Webcomics folder, and can't find a good one that's doesn't violate ROCEJ.

Rock'n'roll never dies!Yes to that.
7 > current > OP
7 is talking heads.
So are most images based on dialogue tropes (like Insane Troll Logic).

Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! It's summarizing the *dialog trope* in two sentences.
I was responding to Adept, my bad.

I know; I’m not arguing against it.
Just for comparison, here's the panel from Enemy Ace mentioned in the comic book section (although probably one would want a better quality version of that image).
7: Hey, it's not nice to compare lions to bricks. They're the most important species in their ecosystem.
I'm back!I think I'd prefer that to 7.
What about this◊ from Ace Attorney?
CSP Cleanup Thread | All that I ask for ... is diamonds and dance floorsNot sure that's this trope... it's more like Literal-Minded, because he's misconstruing "birdbrain" as an insult to birds.
I liked 7, but the more I read it, the more I think that being compared to a lion is not necessarily an insult. 17 is really good, but has a bad quality. I'm not sure about 20. It's less texty than 17, but 17 fits the trope better and is also funnier.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.If we can get a more easily readable version of 17, that gets my vote.
The character does expound on why it’s an insult to lions. I can try and compose something next time I’m on PC.
I understand that. He means it negatively in context; I meant I’d try to get that.

The problem is more that it's not clear why getting compared to a lion is an insult to Sir Drakon. Lions are typically seen as virtuous animals, representing strength, courage and power.
Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
There's an image of Batman's face, which has nothing to do with the page. In a lengthy set of thought balloons, the trope is named once. That's really not a good image.
This strikes me as a decent replacement.
