[The lights snap back on, earlier than usual and in a distressing shade of red.]

[From the second floor forbidden room emerge Hercules and Michi, as usual. But behind them are some other figures, some of which you could've sworn would never take their side: Stanley Mouse in the lead, with Red Sus, Walker 68616, and CATS shortly behind, and what appears to be a recently-lobotomized Makino Aikawa.]

[Hercules turns to Stanley and applauds the skeleton.]    "Il est bien fait [well done], Monsieur Mouse! I had initially expressed doubts that your little idea would work, but somehow even with all of the bumps in the road you pulled it off. I'm impressed."   

[Then he turns to the rest of the survivors: Micha, Amanda, Cranberry and—with a slight hesitation—Vanessa.]    "I believe this calls for a celebration, non? Come with us."   

[One by one, the Fragments grab the innocents and drag them into the forbidden room on the first floor. It looks like some sort of laboratory, with a computer off to the side and a vast assortment of wires hanging from the ceiling. Soon, with help from Michi and the others, those wires are now hooked up to the Mew, the fox, and the two humans. A sadistic, deranged smirk appears on Hercules's face as his glasses glimmer from the light of the computer screens.]    "Reste immobile et reste silencieux [stay still and remain silent]."   

[The survivors feel electricity pulsating through their bodies. Hercules presses a few buttons, and the images on the screen flash and become warped with a ruby red filter. Flickering white zeroes and reds flood the corners of the screens, and a repeating mantra appears:]

[Hercules nods at Michi.]    "I'll let you handle it from here."

"Thank you, Hercules. It's been...a while since I've been here."

Michi pulls out a tray full of multiple syringes. As the survivors are forced to stare at the screens, they begin dogmatically injecting the liquids into everyone's neck, one by one. First Micha. Then, Amanda. Then, Cranberry. Finally, with some hesitation, Michi injects the serum into Vanessa's neck with trembling hands, before dropping the final syringe on the ground, shattering it on the ground.

"This...this should be quick and painless, unless you make it otherwise."

As the survivors stare at the screen, their vision will fill with a kaleidoscope of colors, before it settles on a vivid ruby red. Their eyes dilate, their hearts palpitate, and their minds are full of emotions. Maybe it's real, or maybe it's a pale imitation of what the truth should be like. But that doesn't make it feel any less real.

You feel ecstasy. You feel joy.

And finally, it's over. The wires are unplugged from your body, although the lights are still glowing red. The hosts and their fellow cultists stand before you.

"Well, I hope you have had a wonderful time.'

and the public won't dwell on my transmission cause it wasn't televised.

“This was a fun experiment.”

Stanley is pleased, but distraught. He basically just killed a bunch of people and made some unintelligible, but his goal was reached, and that’s what mattered, right?

   "Oui,"    [says Hercules with a laugh,]    "I hope you had a memorable experience!"

[Chandra lets out a.. smile. It's a smile, but.. not even she knows what she's trying to convey.]    This.. was indeed very fun. Didn't knew playing in the murderers' side can be this exciting!

[Hercules looks at Michi, beaming with pride.]    "Merci beaucoup, Dr. Michi! I certainly couldn't be happier! Oui, it's still... different, and dare I say weaker, but it's something!"

It's hard to describe. She looks happy, yet pained deep down. Like something deep within her is trying its hardest to revolt against what's happening to her.

Amanda's face also has a strange mix of emotions. This... was this what she was worried about? This isn't so bad... is it? She knew she messed up, she misjudged... she misjudged badly.

[Hercules lets out a satisfied laugh and turns to Makino.]    "Don't worry. You did much more towards saving them than they ever thought you could."    [He clenches his fists for a moment.]    "And now that you've finally come to your senses... I think we'll find some use in that thermite obsession of yours. Reposez-vous [rest]... you'll need it."   

[Hercules snaps his fingers, and the lights go off once more.]

   And just like that, it's over.
