Yeah, that’s pretty much the best that can be done with a static image.
It illustrates Unmoving Plaid pretty well. He's in a dynamic body posture, yet the lines on his shirt are completely straight.

The bald guy went from leading men in the field to having an office job.
It could be better, but it's in Keep Until Better Image Suggested territory IMO.
I think it works since a regular old rock is instantly going to be a darkhorse in any race, regardless of competition.
I also think the amusement factor helps elevate it.
