Opened. I'd say keep it on the Recap page.
I've never been a fan of this image, personally. It's always been hard for me to tell exactly what's happening, maybe because of the show's art style; the caption needed to tell me so I didn't spend a while staring at it.
I'm fine with pulling it from the Trope Page, though we do need to find a replacement.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI'm in favor of changing. Especially since Eric Cartman is far beyond being a mere Jerkass.
Pull from the trope page. The fact that there's a spoiler tag in the caption makes me want to throw it out even more.

Yeah, this is not illustrative. Also licking someone else's face looks more like some sort of weird fetish rather than jackassery.
Ok, so the image isn't great but drinking someone's tears is still jerkassery with this being a visual pun or literal metaphor. Can we get some suggestions please?
Keep Until Better Image Suggested.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Agreed. Unless there's a better suggestion for Jerkass, I'd rather change the recap page image.
Keet cleanupI feel like this is a hard trope to put an image to without resorting to JAFAAC or showing someone doing something evil, which would be more like a case of Kick the Dog. Jerkasses are not necessarily evil characters.
That being said, I think the trope page image should be either changed or pulled.
Does this◊ look Jerkass enough? He's acting unpleasantly enough without being The Bully or committing random acts of meanness

Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Works for me.

I could go with that.

The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.It's...okay. He doesn't seem malicious enough to me, but I guess it's better than nothing.
I’m not a fan of the Big Nate image myself... he looks like he’s being mean, but he doesn’t make me think of a “jerkass”
back lolNate is an example of Jerk with a Heart of Gold rather than this trope to be honest, and such characters tend to be less of a "mean-spirited bully" in their jerkassery and more "obnoxiously self-indulgent".

Agreed that the Big Nate image is not the best, just doesn't seem dickish enough.
Maybe move the image on Jerkass.Video Games to the main trope page? Seems like it shows the character being a jerk very well (shows them swearing, pouring a coffee at someone)? Though it may fit Disproportionate Retribution better than Jerkass, to be honest.

Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)The image on Jerkass.Video Games isn’t amazing, I’m fine with keeping it where it is.
If we do want to use an example from Big Nate, there is Randy.
back lolEven if it's not a straight example, the image shows him as a kind of bully. It's definitely better than the current.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.Mike from the Walkyverse would be a fantastic option with even a halfway decent pic.

The problem with 14 for me is that nobody really looks upset or mean. Like, sure the two on the beanbag look slightly-off balance because the beanbag is in motion. But the guy pulling it just looks really serious and focused, which makes me think there's probably some sot of legitimate reason for wanting the beanbag moved.
Bump. Any more ideas?
