Well, I'm bored, so I guess it's about time I made a Troper page for myself. Not that anyone will read it.

I am an aspiring writer, actor, voice actor and singer who, in mid-2014, stumbled upon this site by accident. Since then, I've been hooked.

     Tropes Associated With Me
  • The '90s: The decade I was born in, though I relate to The '80s far more.
  • Abusive Parents: My father wasn't the best parent in the world.
  • Adorkable: On my best days.
  • All of the Other Reindeer: Let's just say school wasn't very kind to me.
  • Angry Black Man: Keeping my temper in check is not easy in my environment.
  • Attention Whore: Why else would I want to be an entertainer?
  • Badass Baritone: And I've had it for a very long time. Hopefully it will allow me to get voice acting gigs.
  • Black and Nerdy: Well, mixed race and nerdy.
  • Boomerang Bigot: Went through a period of this in my teens due to living in a highly racist area (and still do). I still haven't completely gotten over it, but I'm willing to admit my African heritage now at least. Even now, stereotypical "ghetto" black people are a Berserk Button of mine.
  • Brilliant, but Lazy: I'm well aware that I'm capable of so much more, but finding motivation isn't simple.
  • Brutal Honesty: One of the main reasons why most people probably think I'm a jerk.
  • Cool Shades: I never go outside without wearing sunglasses. Partially due to light sensitivity and partially due to body image issues.
  • Cloud Cuckoo Lander: My mind is probably an enigma to others.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: It's very rare that I don't wear black clothing (and when I'm not it's usually a dark blue or grey), which is probably the reason why most people think I'm a serial killer.
  • Deadpan Snarker: To such an extent that I'm sure it's hindering my life.
  • The Eeyore: I've been depressed and cynical for a while now, and Eeyore was my favorite Winnie-the-Pooh character as a child. I hope to play him sometime in the future.
  • Friend to All Children: I get along far better with children than I do adults most of the time.
  • Good Is Not Nice: Deep down, I do have a heart. Unfortunately, I don't get the chance to show it much.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: I could probably count on one finger the number of things that don't piss me off these days.
  • Hype Aversion: Part of the reason for my Nostalgia Filter. The more someone recommends something to me, the less I'm inclined to check it out.
  • I Just Want to Be Special: To quote William Thatcher "I won't spend the rest of my life as nothing".
  • I Work Alone: Working in groups isn't one of my strong points, as most times I would end up doing all of the work while everyone else would goof off.
  • The Insomniac: A problem I've been struggling with since I was 13. Some days it's better than others.
  • Jerkass Façade: Developed one as a way of fending off bullies and assholes, though at this point many would argue that it isn't a facade anymore.
  • Karma Houdini: There are many bad things I did in school that I'm surprised I got away with.
  • Manchild: And damn proud of it, though I'm capable of being an adult when possible.
  • Man of a Thousand Voices: Maybe not a thousand, but I've done so many impressions over the years that I've lost count, and some I can't do anymore. I will be doing a video of them soon.
  • Misplaced Accent: Due to being ashamed of my Southern accent, I trained myself to speak in the "Midwest" dialect, though my old accent still pops up from time to time.
  • Nice Hat: A black leather flat-cap, though I've been wearing it less often as of late.
  • Nostalgia Filter: For whatever reason, most modern entertainment doesn't appeal to me and most of the movies, TV Shows and music I consume are at least a decade or two old. I'm trying to move past it, but unfortunately it's not easy.
  • The Quiet One: I don't talk very often.
  • Self-Deprecation: As you can tell by reading this trope list.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: My fucking specialty, bitch.
  • Straight Edge: I have always prided myself on being free of drugs and alcohol, though I don't exactly follow the "punk" aspects of it.
  • Strong Family Resemblance: I look far more like my father than my mother, much to my chagrin.
  • Surrounded by Idiots: I definitely feel this way.
  • Used to Be a Sweet Kid: I was much nicer and innocent as a child.
  • Younger Than They Look: Due to the fact that I was always much taller than my peers and my voice deepened at a young age, I've always looked and sounded a lot older than I really am. I'm in my twenties, but I probably look at least thirty and sound like I'm forty.
    • My mother told me of an incident when a truant officer was called on me by a neighbor. I was three years old at the time, but the officer thought I was old enough to be in school.
    • I also once called an acquaintance of mine once and his older brother, whom had never met me, answered the phone. He asked how old I was and was shocked at my age (I was 12, but again, sounded like a forty-year-old man).
