I think so?
I think aversions should be removed, unless you can make the case that it's notable somehow.
Yeah, I'd like for consensus to remove the aversions as well...
I think aversions should be removed also
Macron's notesRemove aversions, since that means the trope isn't present, and this isn't an Omnipresent Trope.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. The Real Life section maintenance thread reached a decision to make this trope No Real Life Examples, Please!. Aside from being a stereotype, it had the same misuse problems as the fictional examples that motivated this TRS thread.
I'm back!Nice. I started wick cleaning by bulldozing the Creator/ page wicks, all of which were like "Averted, this person is a fair-skinned Latino person."
To be clear, we are keeping examples where multiple Latino characters are brown and brunet, so I wonder if a description tweak is in order.

The description is too long, so I'd say rewrite from scratch.
I'm back!Sandbox.Latino Is Brown. Took out large chunks of the description, including a paragraph of all Indian people looking alike that coincides nicely with the Identical-Looking Asians broadening.
Much more concise, and thank you for incorporating the renamed Racial Face Blindness at the bottom
Bump, any progress with Sandbox.Latino Is Brown?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThe description that's on there is the one I'm currently pitching.
I think the revised description looks good.
Macron's notesOkay, I sorted out all the onpage examples. 2/3 of them were Averted Trope...
Bumping. Can I have more eyes on the example list on the sandbox so it can be swapped in?
I looked it over and it looks alright.
Macron's notesThanks. I swapped in the sandbox. I'll start looking through the wicks and will update here periodically.
I feel like a comparison with All Jews Are Ashkenazi and All Muslims Are Arab may be warranted.
This is not really an All X are Y trope though, although in practice it may as well be that since I am leaving examples where most Latinos look brown and brunet or the perception is discussed by the characters. The majority of examples I removed were ZCE or Averted Trope.
This wick cleaning is pretty easy. Just Main/ and Characters/ left to check.

Bump. Finished wick cleaning. 91 remaining wicks all either refer to the stereotype or portray multiple Latino characters as brown with black hair
So I am guessing this is done?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI’d say so.
Hollering to close... (Has this already been done?)
I'm back!OK, closing this then.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman
Crown Description:
What would be the best way to fix the page?
Soo, is it ok to go forward with moving examples like the crowner says we should?
