Welcome to HGS: Another Side Another Story. It is a roleplay spinoff for the Hunger Games Simulator forum game, akin to both the RP's in the Roleplaying section as well as the ITTs in Forum Games. It tells the story of the Hunger Games in the Arena of Panem, the nominators who sent the tributes, the tributes themselves both in and out of the Arena or even other people relevant to the Games. In addition, it also tells their stories beyond the Arena.
You can jump right in with any character, like your nominator self, your tributes, etc. The structure of this RP will be open-world. Don't worry about not being skilled/experienced enough or being new to RP'ing. Finally, ASAS accepts any skill level or RP style. Other than these, there are some important rules to note, which are:
- No godmodding will be allowed or tolerated here. The offending player will be given punishment depending on the severity.
- Please communicate anything important you plan on another player with the said player first. Don't just execute it without their consent.
- Don't be rude to other players, both out and in-universe. This extends to RP offenses like railroading, guilt-tripping, coercing, or other forms of forcing them.
- This RP is related to the Hunger Games Simulation:Beyond the Possibilities forum game. Thus it will have events based from that game, including the tributes. This means if you want to RP as tributes, please nominate them officially on the thread first, with misses not being counted. This has to be done after an incident with a player who hasn't joined the game itself yet.
- Since this RP is Loose Canon in relation to the main HGS thread, the host's interpretation of events isn't necessarily 100% canon. Every player has the right to deviate from what the host says and go with their own interpretations. If multiple players have their tributes involved in the same event(s), please communicate with each other so that you're on the same page regarding how you see them.
- This RP chronicles the lives of the nominators and their tributes behind the scenes. While dark plots are acceptable, the overall tone of the RP should be light-hearted and comedic. This RP is not a Cosmic Horror Story or action story about defeating evil. It is a Slice of Life comedy with some adventure to it, first and foremost. Our previous RP, Convergence, is not representative of the intended tone, and the grimdark tone of that RP is one of the main reasons it was retooled.
- Nominators and tributes alike can transform into Pokemon whenever they enter a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon World (but they can bypass this with certain items/methods or shapeshifting) or via other means outside it such as a season event, Transformation Trinkets, or shapeshifting. The players are free to choose the Pokéforms that best suit their characters and even give them color schemes outside the standard and Shiny colors, but there is a hard rule for this. If you want your character's Pokéform to be a Legendary, Mythical, or Ultra Beast, please ask the RP mods for approval. Outside the Arena, these Pokéforms are still OP, but we want to give leeway for tributes who theoretically can have them such as deities.

Detective Gamechanger's Base
A sharp-dressed man in a green suit and yellow tie is standing by the entrance of the base. He is of average height and has whitish skin, though still a bit darker. He is Billy, one of the nominators and the organizer of the party.
Indeed, after the nominators' returned and settled their problems, they decide to have fun with a party. Billy also sent invites for all the other nominators out there, as well as basically anyone else, including tributes, non associated parties, interested nominators who haven't participate yet, or even those who just wants to hang out.
The place itself in the base is refurbished for party purposes. Fancy chairs and tables are set everywhere for people to relax, as well as put food and other objects for the latter. There's also various collections showcased, including those belonging to the Detective, like his classic cars. Various themes to the base are set too, including detective noir as GC would have preferred.
Billy is now awaiting for other guests to arrive. He is also ready to give them a pleasant surprise during the party pertaining to his nation.

Season 295
Onba?? Why second Verdi so mean?! (Verdi laments when his clone insults the father of one of the Luffies.)
I don't know why other me became a Seel after going through that pipe. (Stella muses.) Least I'm still shiny.
(Some of the monsters OT!Stanford sent out are approaching Haban-Arrow's hideaway. Others (which happen to include Holly's gang), in their search for Polar Vortex, are slowly but surely making their way toward the Library (but aren't very close yet).)
ZDR (Surface)
(The ring of fire prevents the corrupted clones of Hyp and Spyro from getting any closer to Bale's group, and the Hyp clone is so close to the fire that it is severely injured.)
B-B-BIIIIIIG-G-G-G- (The Hyp clone babbles before suddenly glitching heavily and seeming to implode in on itself and out of existence.)
(The Spyro clone mindlessly breathes fire toward Darragon and the two monsters even though it has no effect.)
ZDR (Bridge)
(The combined efforts of the others finally knock the Corpius into the lava...but not before it attempts one final strike at Joaquin that will likely kill him instantly if it connects.)
SONNY!! (Knox roars, trying to scramble toward Joaquin, but it's clear he isn't going to be fast enough to get to him either.)
JOAQUIN! (Cleo gasps, unable to spend more of her energy to try to save him.)
(Luckily, it seems that Veena anticipated this; as the Corpius starts to fall, she swings her coils around Joaquin's ankles and yanks him away with enough for his hat to fall off. As a result, the stinger only ends up stabbing Joaquin's hat, destroying it.)
(Once Joaquin catches his breath, he turns to Veena.) Whoa, Veen, quick thinking!
(Veena smiles and chuckles lightly.) I mean...that basically happened to me already when we fought Ridley, I just...learned from that, I guess.
(Joaquin and Veena start to lean in for a kiss, but are interrupted by July calling out for them:) THE DOOR'S OPEN! LET'S GET OUT OF HERE!!
I shall keep the bridge steady and bring up the rear. (Cleo says.) Now go!
(Everyone gets up to their feet and go through the door behind the Pokémon.)
Dammit, I thought I was about to lose that boy again... (Knox asides to Freyja.) Lucky for him he's got Veena...
Pirate-y Book
(Oscar nods at Shelley and they start springing across the floating objects toward the foxes.)
(The foxes start firing back with slingshots containing everything from small rocks to wadded up seaweed.)
(At this point, Shelley is able to nimbly avoid most of them, while Oscar blocks them as best as he can, (especially from hitting Lucian).)
Give it up, you two bilgerats! (Odessa calls.)
Make us! (One of the foxes calls back.)
Yeah! We don't hafta listen to you! (The other says.) We're better off without you!
(Odessa seems incensed.)
That ain't any way to treat an old matey of yours! (Oscar says as he perches on a barrel.)
(The foxes don't respond and instead duck behind a barrel. Two large sharks (both looking every bit as silly as Flotina outside) pop up out of the water, blocking the way between the group and the foxes.)
They're in the way! (Shelley says.)
"Lucian, don’t be afraid, we’ll make it through this."
(CAC, Dick, and Elfin go through the door)

It had been some time since Reze decided to attack Ange out of nowhere, but thankfully, the fight was diverted before it got out of hand. However, she was now sitting by a bench just outside a door that led into some sort of interrogation room or something, with Princess by her side.

Man, been a while. Well, I’m here now, but I’ve been busier than ever.
The Fourth-Placers' Revenge
The Arena, Season 295
That evening, the Elvish Archer found herself a particularly succulent-looking apple. Elaina was so tempted by it that as she was asking for a bite, she started barking aggressively, startling the Archer into leaving.
Across the Arena, the Elvish Fighter decided to get on Barem's good side and made a cake for him, borrowing Mermaid Kokomi's ration bars to do so. He made sure to use the grey ration bars since he knew Barem liked them better than the brown ones.
The next day was Elvis Presley's birthday, and since his name was only one letter short of being Elvish, the Elvish Fighter thought it only appropriate to celebrate. He donned Elvis-impersonator attire and began baking a new cake for his party with Elephant Mario, Mermaid Kokomi, the Bliztle, Rabbit Link, and Piccolo.
The Elvish Archer, however, had a bigger issue to deal with: Ending the tyrannical rule of President Snow for good. No matter how many times he died, he always seemed to come back, but she had plans to put a stop to it: She tore his soul straight out of his body and placed it in another tribute, hoping that when they perished, he'd go down too. Little did she know that the tribute she'd chosen would be the one to survive the Games.
On the second night, the Elvish Fighter saw Jay under attack by Tyril. All their tortoises couldn't protect them, and Tyril was about to finish them off when the Fighter lunged in, cutting him down from behind with a well-timed sword strike. "And that's what I kept my sword for," he said to Jay as he sheathed it again.
Elsewhere, Barem suspected that the Elvish Archer was hiding something under her distinctive feathered cap. He dramatically pulled it off for everyone to see... another, almost identical hat right below it.
On the third day, the Elvish Archer got assigned tax-collection duty to make up for what she'd done with Snow's soul, and began gathering money from the other tributes. Meanwhile, the Elvish Fighter found that the Joker had been sent to jail after a run-in with Batman and decided to have a chat with him in case he was getting lonely.
ZDR, Surface
Once she had the droid's attention, Kyte quickly retreated, flying back toward Rivet's sprinkler-turret so that the droid would have to risk becoming a topiary to pursue her.
One of the corrupted Miss Whoops's boulders fell close to the Red Squad. Kaidan groaned with exertion as he deflected it - moving something that size was no easy feat even for a biotic of his power. "My barriers can't take another hit like that!" he said.
"On it," said Saheeli. "Looks like we need air support." With that, she directed a couple of thopters to intercept the Miss Whoops clone and target her with aether bolts.
Shepard gave a nod to Sticky. "Good idea. That could be our way out." The Commander motioned to the rest of the squad. "Kaidan, Saheeli, Rivet, keep the others off our backs. Everyone else, target that weak spot!"
With that, the rookies started focusing their shots northward to help clear the way. Krystal helped Ashley deal with her current opponents before joining them, with Sabre doing the same for Tricky. As for Shepard, the Commander got a burst of adrenaline and aimed a sniper shot at Golden Fish's throat, attempting both a figurative and literal decapitation strike.
I like cute things. You gotta deal with it.

Lucian hid behind Oscar's shell on the head to avoid being hit by the foxes's projectiles.
"Hey! That's mean!!" he said to them. Still a bit nervous, he tried to make the sharks flee by firing a small Water Gun at them.
Artaria->Elevator
"I'm guessing it's not the first time they saved one another." Freyja answered Knox as the team made a break for it. Once they left the bridge, the heat became more tolerable for Aaron and Tokage, but it stayed constant until Fire Eyes guided them to an elevator.
"Inside. Now." the Chozo said, prompting the rest to follow. Once inside and the elevator started to go up, everything went back to normal, letting the team breathe for a bit.
"Finally..." Freyja grunted as Alex rushed to help Tokage and Aaron.
"Urf... Thanks, everyone. Are you okay?" Aaron asked, struggling to get up.
"I... I should be fine..." Tokage weakly coughed.
"Man this is bad... And Cataris is supposed to be even hotter than that?" Alex asked Fire Eyes.
"Yes. It is not just your two friends, Charmeleon, but the three Zoroarks as well who could be in danger. Cataris's heat will turn them to crisps in mere seconds. They will need protection to progress."
ZDR surface
Thanks to Sidon, the elite soldier chasing Ben had to give up to focus on the Zora. Knowing who he was facing, he had his spear grow purple, electricity sparkling from it before rushing to fight the prince.
"What do you think?? We're getting our asses kicked." Arthur said to Tenn in an annoyed tone. He then noticed one of Miss Whoops's boulders being thrown at Henry and James.
"DODGE, DAMN IT!!" the Decidueye screeched, prompting James to dodge.
"We won't be able to hold on at this rate. We need to retreat somewhere." Nick grunted.
Fortunately for Steven, Pearl deflected the spear with her trident.
"Then you will die first." was all the Chozo elite said before fighting with Pearl, aiming to destroy her gem as well.
With Greta's help, the Atomozoid chasing Sapphire was knocked down for a moment, allowing her to escape its range. But as for Amethyst, the other soldiers were quick to notice that she was not one of her own. As the Skullcrawler vanished, they started to gang on her.
"YEAH! Well played weirdo!" Onox said to Rouki once AR!Amethyst got bubbled before frowning as he realized something rather important only now.
"...Hey wait, you weren't with us. You're a bad guy!" the brute exclaimed at Rouki. Scipion, who was still fighting another Chozo elite, also noticed Rouki in the distance.
"YOU??!! You're that damn asshole that stole Meta Knight's body! GET BACK HERE SO I CAN KILL YOU PROPERLY!!" he roared, dropping the fight with the Chozo soldier to rush towards Rouki to fight him alongside Onox.
"Okay, I'm really confused, what the hell are those things? They're clearly not with the Mawkin and Scipion and Bale are going to fight the other guy." Nick said, confused.
"I... believe I have heard of him. Duke Ourg Rouki, a fearsome opponent the Fox of Death faced with Vengeful Bale before. He is a villain that is possessing the alternate Meta Knight." James explained between his battles with some droids before looking at the two Kaijus Bale was trying to restrain. Thanks to the ring of fire, no Mawkin nor any droids or Atomozoids were approaching the three giants.
"And... I do not want to alarm you, but it looks like he is trying to wipe out the entire battlefield...!!"
"EXCUSE ME??!! We have to stop that!" Nick exclaimed.
"Is he a moron? Rouki's trapped with us because of that VL Metroid!! Killing us won't stop the other assholes to create more of those things and have them finish him off!! If he wipes us out, Raven Beak and Dark Stanford will fucking win!! We don't have time to waste fighting him, we have to retreat! James, Henry!! Cover us!! We have to stop them, and find a way out!!" Arthur said, waving at Tenn and Nick to join him to prevent Darrgon and Rouki from facing off.
Especially since Shepard and Sticky managed to find a way out.
Indeed, after clearing a good bunch of droids with more or less difficulties, they would reach directly Golden Fish and his two subordinates. Still, the Mawkin intended to fight to the death. But Shepard made the right call by shooting first.
"Golden Fish!" one of the Chozo soldiers exclaimed, pushing his commander away to take the sniper shot. He hadn't the time to protect himself and he got injured in the elbow.
"No! You will pay for this!" Golden Fish furiously exclaimed as some Chozo started to chase after the fleeing heroes.
But as they ran, the 'Brijes would suddenly feel something very wrong. A familiar, yet terrifying presence drawing close...
Blood Moon.
Rouki's actions served only to delay the heroes, and the mad Chozo had taken advantage of it. Where Blood Moon was, what form he was in, and who he was going to infect first was unknown. But he was in the area, and he was coming for them. The 'Brijes knew not even the Kaijus or Darrgon could resist him. They had to flee before it would be too late.

The Arena
That night, Papyrus wanders around, trying to remember his identity. He then runs into Kisuki, who curses him with the power of self-hatred.
"WHAT AM I EVEN DOING HERE?" Papyrus mutters to himself as he walks away. "AND WHY EVEN TRY?"
The next day, he stumbles upon Fury Homura on the brink of death. Kisuki's curse resonates so strongly in Papyrus, he also gets furious from just seeing her. But without him realizing it, his true self shines through as he jumps in to rescue her. However, he doesn't know if saving what's actually a fusion of Homura and Fury Bowser is a good thing, for he ends up getting shot by Seel!Stella as he Flees. The Luxray then gathers his dust pile and gives it to her.
Underground Bunker
Power's face lights up. "You're right, Ich! But before I continue resting, has the latest season started yet? And if so, how are 6k1's tributes doing?"
ZDR
Surface
Pearl clashes with the elite guard and raises her trident above her gemstone to protect it, while Steven rolls sideways towards Connie. They get up and hobble towards Garnet, who punches away the Atomozoid after Ruby and Sapphire fused into her.
"I think we're being outnumbered!"
"We should retreat right away!"
"Is there a way for us to escape?"
Garnet looks around and hears Arthur's warning about Rouki. "I'm sorry that Sapphire was unable to predict that we let a traitor in. However, I can see a viable escape route over there."
She leads Steven and Connie to where Sticky and Shepard went, but since Garnet has been weakened from the fight, she fails to foresee Blood Moon's presence either.
Meanwhile, Amethyst falls into the horde of Mawkin when the Skullcrawler is desummoned, but she just laughs at them for spotting her. As they chip away at the spiky bubble shield, she shapeshifts into a copy of the corrupted Spyro clone, and once the bubble is popped, she breathes fire at the soldiers with sweeping motions.
Glass Bridge —> Elevator
Bismuth pulls her hooks back up and turns her hands back to normal.
"Nice catch!" she tells Veena. "Ya alright there?" she also asks Joaquin before heading to the elevator with Lapis and Peridot.
"Is everyone okay?" Lapis asks those who fought the Corpius.
"Sure am!" says Bismuth.
"But what can the Pokémon use as protection against Cataris' heat?" asks Peridot.
The burly Gem takes out her anvil and the ice blocks she gathered in Artaria from her gemstone, and then turns one of her hands into a hammer again.
"I'll see if I can forge some icy no-melt armor packs for 'em before we head out!"

"Rarity, are you okay? We gotta get you and your friends outta here soon!"
"I won't, Pow-Pow."

'Ey, other me knocked out that Ghost-type...or whatever he is. I mean, he's a walking skeleton. (Stella says.)
(She raises her brow when Dupe!Verdi seems to find someone blowing their living space up to get rid of a spider familiar.) Verdi, have you seen this happen before?
Onba! Verdi heard of Voltorb making house boom to make Galvantula leave! Verdi still completely wild back then… (Verdi explains.)
Huh…wonder where that Voltorb is now. (Stella wonders.)
ZDR (Surface)
Oh, the fiend!! (Henry says. He certainly knows what it’s like to have somebody take over your body at this point.) We must stop him and save Meta Knight!
Right behind you guys! (Tenn says, struggling up to her feet and following Nick and the others.)
(Henry fires off Dragon Pulses to ward off the Mawkin and Atomozoids as they head toward where Rouki is.)
(Tenn momentarily freezes upon seeing the fire, but by this point she is no longer that afraid of the fire and holds her ground.) HEY!! STOP!! YOU’RE GONNA KILL A BUNCH OF US!! (She shouts at Rouki.) WE CAN GET OUT OF HERE!!
(Sticky starts to follow Shepard, only to freeze as she senses a presence here.)
Sticky? (Colby asks.)
…He’s coming! (Sticky says.)
Who’s here- (Colby starts to say, only to sense Blood Moon’s presence as well and start frantically looking around for him. He isn’t sure where Blood Moon is (or what form he might be taking), but they need to get out of here.) Everyone this way! NOW!!
(Greta picks up on Blood Moon’s presence as well.) Garnet, we need to get out of here!!
(Sidon cannot help feeling a bit worried when he sees the electricity, knowing that will surely drop him the moment it connects, but nevertheless he stands his ground.)
(Wanda sees the two of them about to clash, with the soldier harnessing electricity.) Sides!! (Worrying that Sidon will get hurt, especially with the 'Brijes now urging everyone down the path they and Shepard’s group found, Wanda rolls herself up into a small scaly ball and tries to roll past the corrupted Squiddly clone.)
(The clone emits static-sounding noises and drives its tentacles into the ground to stop Wanda as she weaves around it, but it gets its tentacles tangled up with each other and topples over, giving everybody an opening to get past it as well.)
Phew, that worked…Sidon!!
(Meanwhile, Ben retrieves the DNA from the fallen Chozo beside him, and quickly slams his hand onto the face of the Omnitrix.)
(Straightaway, Ben becomes a Chozo, and since he sampled from a Mawkin specifically, he gains the requisite Power Suit (which is green, black, and silver.) Oh yeah! Rocking one of their sweet suits, too! (Ben says.) I sure feel like a beefier Kickin' Hawk...
(Seeing Sidon about to fight another Mawkin, Ben charges for the attacking Mawkin and swings a punch from behind.)
ZDR (Underground)
(Finally away from the bridge and in the next elevator, everyone is able to relax a bit. June still holds on to Aaron tight. Meanwhile, Joaquin slumps against the wall, he and Veena's faces pressed against each other's.) Yeah…man, that was tough... (He responds to Lapis.)
I'm alright... (Veena says to Bismuth.) ...I was scared I wasn't going to be fast enough, to be honest...
Great, now we're in danger of burning up, too. (July sighs once Fire Eyes explains what they can expect next. She still hasn't put Tokage back down.)
(Luckily, Bismuth has a solution.)
Ooh, that'll work! (June says.) It'll sure be cold, but it's better than turnin' into a Zoroark puddle the minute we step outta here.
It'll help Aaron and Tokage cool back off, too. (August agrees.)
I am not sure if I shall truly need that armor. (Cleo says.) I may look and move like I am made of rubber, but I am not LITERALLY made of it to the best of my knowledge. I was able to fare well in the ice cavern anyway.
Pirate-y Book
(The Water Gun actually makes one of the sharks draw back a little, rubbing his nose.) Gee, Gary, that lil guy packs a punch! You sure we should...?
Of course we should! Foxes' orders! You're really scared of that little guy? BANZAI!! (The other shark leaps toward Oscar and Lucian, mouth wide open. The first shark shrugs and leaps for Shelley as well.)
(Shelley gasps and leaps toward the ceiling, causing the first shark to miss her completely and land headfirst onto the crate she was on, knocking himself silly. Shelley swings down with her feet in front of her and knocks the stunned shark back into the water.)
(Getting flashbacks to what happened with Dark Stanford on Icicle Mountain, Oscar screams and desperately tries to block the shark leaping toward he and Lucian with his shellswords, causing the shark to land directly onto the blades.)
POW!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh! (The shark goes bouncing around the room like a deflating balloon, air escaping through the hole in his chest the shellswords created, eventually coming to rest on top of the first shark's head.)
Oww... (The deflated shark squeaks.)
Told you so! Can't believe we have to get you patched up AGAIN... (The first shark says, rubbing his head and diving back into the water.)
(The shark fins in the water quickly disappear, and the foxes peer back up from the barrels.)
Most ingenious, mateys! (One of the foxes says.) You bested our best sharks!
That we did! Now give us back our treasure! (Odessa says.)

Lucian screamed and ducked as the shark attacked. Fortunately, Oscar reacted in time and protected him, deflating the shark.
"Did... Did we do it, Cap'n?" he asked once the foxes showed up again.
Elevator
"As long as the ice armor doesn't melt, I'm all for it..." Aaron said, wrapping his arms around June to reassure her.
"I'm not the biggest fan of ice... But I don't have a lot of other options." Tokage sighed, getting up at last. He looked at July and pressed his head against hers to calm her down, silently thanking her.
"Hope you guys will be alright, then." Alex said to the Zoroarks and his two friends.
"You should still make one for the dragonness, just to be safe." Fire Eyes added to Bismuth.
"It's not like she would have much time to react. If we fail, Dark Stanford will be going after her." Freyja pointed out to CAC.

"Don't worry about it!" Bismuth tells Tokage. "I'll make sure it keeps you cold enough, but not too cold to freeze ya!"
She continues working on the no-melt ice armors for those who requested it, precisely measuring them to fit their body types. But then CAC asks a question that makes her, Lapis, and Peridot stare at the elevator doors awkwardly.

I think Freyja’s right, too, man. Dark Stanford and Raven Beak both have beef with the nominators, so if they stop us, they're probably gonna be next. (Joaquin says to CAC.)

(Oscar gives Lucian a look of concern, starts to reach out...but then hesitates. After spending much of his life as a thief and being forced to work for Stanford's evil counterpart, he feels that something still isn't right here.)

Naw, of course it is! (The other fox says.)
(Shelley springs up onto the ceiling, where she sees that the foxes are standing in a way that is blocking a cannon big enough for someone to be able to fit inside, with the hatch open.)
Um, can you explain that cannon that looks like you're ready to fire it? (Shelley asks.)
W-What cannon?! (The first fox asks.)
Oh, I see what you two scallywags are doing now, you were gonna try stuffing Cap'n Oswald here into it, weren't ya? (Odessa asks.) Wouldn't be the first time you double-crossed somebody and threw 'em away like they were just trash!
(The foxes exchange glances, then turn back with angry glares.) Of course the giant frog had to ruin the surprise!
(The foxes raise the cannon up so that it faces the group and stuff a comically large amount of gunpowder into it!)

(Oscar is worried because he doesn't know if they can even leave in time before the cannon fires. His first thought is to plug up the cannon somehow, but with what?)
(Oscar looks at Lucian, still in Wooper form, and gets an idea.) Lucian, use Mud Shot on the cannon’s opening! (Hopefully the fact that this world seems cartoonish like Bugs’ world means they won’t be hurt too bad if something goes wrong.)
(The foxes suddenly look worried.)
"Lucian, don’t be afraid, we’ll make it through this."
CAC: (Nods) You guys are right! (Turns to Peridot) And I refuse to throw the towel! Not if I can make a difference.
CAC: (To Lapis) Not at the moment, but Bismuth is right. And I need to remember that the multiverse depends on us!

The Presence
Everyone also felt Blood Moon's presence coming, unnerving them as they knew they'd be easily overwhelmed at this rate. Bale as Darrgon tried to reason with the two kaiju, noticing neither were thrilled to perform a senseless act like that.
Darrgon: I can tell you two don't want to do this. Please cease this at once, it won't help us out because a bad presence's coming and even you two won't be able to get out of fighting unscathed.
Having felt the presence and realizing they had to keep Rouki under control Golza and Melba opted to defy Rouki's orders for now and decided to stop their attacks on Bale and the others recognizing this wasn't a smart choice to make with the dire situation at hand, Melba swooped down and grabbed Rouki to keep him from attacking anyone in general and awaiting for Bucrates to take them back before their master could make things worse.
Rouki: You, let me go! Gragh.
The kaiju took a look at Darrgon before leaving the place, with Bucrates deciding to warp them back before more harm could be done. With this Bale and everyone else now had more relief and ability to prepare themselves for anything that could come after, Bale detransformed to avoid more trouble and prepared to leave with the rest of the people there.
Bale: Okay, so they might just take him away for his problems now. We can make our exit now!
Pearl: Then let's not take more time.
Garnet: Everyone, let's move along. Follow Sticky's trail
Kirby: On it!
They knocked away more soldiers and all prepared to follow Sticky, with Bale doing so too but being worried Rouki would eventually become more and more unstable later on in future encounters.

Garnet quickly runs back to where Pearl and Amethyst are fighting their enemies and shouts, "ATTENTION! BLOOD MOON IS APPROACHING US! PLEASE FOLLOW US, STICKY, AND COMMANDER SHEPARD TO WHERE IT IS SAFER!"
"If I surrender now, she'll shatter me in an instant!" Pearl yells back as she still fights the elite guard.
"Awww man, I was having fun trying to literally roast these guys!" Amethyst groans as she then tries flying away from them in Garnet's direction.
Elevator
"Don't you ever forget that!" Lapis tells CAC. "I'm not letting my past trauma distract me either!"
"Yeah!" says Bismuth.
However, she still keeps an eye on him just in case he attempts permanent suicide, jokingly or seriously, at any point in the mission or even after it. She then finishes the ice armors and fits them on those who need them.
"Is this good? I reinforced 'em too so that they're as tough as regular armor!"

The Fourth-Placers' Revenge
The Arena, Season 295
The Elvish Fighter had little to do that third night, so he simply settled into his camp and rested, unaware that Shitass had sent Rabbit Link a mistranslated message that called him ugly. The Elvish Archer, meanwhile, found a spider had gotten into her camp and blew the whole place up to get rid of it, but somehow the spider survived - something Verdi found oddly familiar.
The next morning, the Archer saw Giltsholder carrying a bent violin from bashing Luxray to death with it the night before. "What are you doing?" asked the Archer, to which Glitsholder just said she was doing her best.
The Fighter, however, was growing increasingly upset with Verdi, who he was seeing not so much as a Noibat as an Annoybat. "I wish I'd never met you," he said, to which Verdi replied something about the black string of fate connecting them.
Come the fourth night, the Elvish Archer found some wheat that she decided to make into bread. She asked Barem, Blails, and Shitass of all people to help her grind the flour and bake the bread, and they all considerately decided to pitch in. Grateful for their help, she made sure to share her bread.
The Elvish Fighter, on the other hand, met a rather undignified end: Kisuke had gotten hold of a Bass Cannon and fired it in his general direction. The Fighter was first stunned by a burst of loud music, then a high-speed fish hit him and broke his neck.
Come the morning, the Elvish Archer went back to her tax-collection duties and went to gather money from Mene, complicating her finances. Mene gave a sarcastic thank-you as she moved on to other tributes.
On the fifth night, the Elvish Archer set her sights on Piccolo, seeing him as a major threat. She took aim with her bow and shot the Namekian's head clean off with a single arrow. However, it grew back, and Piccolo went into an annoyed rant about how much it hurt.
On Day Six, however, the Archer discovered some alarming news when surfing the internet.
"Elves aren't real? Wesnoth doesn't actually exist? My whole world is nothing more than a made-up setting for some obscure open-source strategy game? This can't be! THIS CAN'T BE!"
Overcome with existential dread, the Elvish Archer saw no choice but to throw herself on her own sword.
ZDR, Surface
Seeing Golden Fish's subordinates moving to protect him, Shepard fired a few more incendiary rounds his way. "What's the matter? Not used to enemies who can fight back?" the Commander taunted.
Ashley followed Shepard's lead, taking careful aim with her assault rifle to try to hit weak spots in the Chozos' armour. "What I'd give to have one of T'Soni's singularities right now," she said. "That'd clear the path right up."
At this, the cat rookie held up her Wispon demonstratively.
"Good thinking, rookie," said Shepard. "Ash, fire in the hole!"
Ashley nodded and threw an inferno grenade, which was quickly followed by a fragmentation grendae from Shepard. The cat then fired her Wispon, and the void shot picked up both grenades and streaked towards Golden Fish's squad to pull as many of them into the blast radius as it could. The wolf rookie followed by sweeping the area with flames to help deal with any survivors.
As the rest of the Red Squad focused on clearing a path, Kaidan, Rivet, and Saheeli brought up the rear, helping cover the other heroes' escape. Rivet continued to use support weapons, bringing out the Cold Snap to freeze groups of enemies who were getting too close for comfort. Kaidan started to rely more on his omni-tool to overload droids and fire off cryonic blasts, doing his best to conserve his biotic strength. Saheeli kept making new thopters as distractions, replacing them as they were shot down or smashed.
"Hurry up, people!" said Rivet. "I've only got so many shots, and the Major's shields can't hold forever!"
I like cute things. You gotta deal with it.
Underground Bunker
"Because there are other things I should actually be worried about?" Power laughs nervously. "But yeah, I guess I'll have to wait and see what happens in the next BR..."
