Welcome to HGS: Another Side Another Story. It is a roleplay spinoff for the Hunger Games Simulator forum game, akin to both the RP's in the Roleplaying section as well as the ITTs in Forum Games. It tells the story of the Hunger Games in the Arena of Panem, the nominators who sent the tributes, the tributes themselves both in and out of the Arena or even other people relevant to the Games. In addition, it also tells their stories beyond the Arena.
You can jump right in with any character, like your nominator self, your tributes, etc. The structure of this RP will be open-world. Don't worry about not being skilled/experienced enough or being new to RP'ing. Finally, ASAS accepts any skill level or RP style. Other than these, there are some important rules to note, which are:
- No godmodding will be allowed or tolerated here. The offending player will be given punishment depending on the severity.
- Please communicate anything important you plan on another player with the said player first. Don't just execute it without their consent.
- Don't be rude to other players, both out and in-universe. This extends to RP offenses like railroading, guilt-tripping, coercing, or other forms of forcing them.
- This RP is related to the Hunger Games Simulation:Beyond the Possibilities forum game. Thus it will have events based from that game, including the tributes. This means if you want to RP as tributes, please nominate them officially on the thread first, with misses not being counted. This has to be done after an incident with a player who hasn't joined the game itself yet.
- Since this RP is Loose Canon in relation to the main HGS thread, the host's interpretation of events isn't necessarily 100% canon. Every player has the right to deviate from what the host says and go with their own interpretations. If multiple players have their tributes involved in the same event(s), please communicate with each other so that you're on the same page regarding how you see them.
- This RP chronicles the lives of the nominators and their tributes behind the scenes. While dark plots are acceptable, the overall tone of the RP should be light-hearted and comedic. This RP is not a Cosmic Horror Story or action story about defeating evil. It is a Slice of Life comedy with some adventure to it, first and foremost. Our previous RP, Convergence, is not representative of the intended tone, and the grimdark tone of that RP is one of the main reasons it was retooled.
- Nominators and tributes alike can transform into Pokemon whenever they enter a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon World (but they can bypass this with certain items/methods or shapeshifting) or via other means outside it such as a season event, Transformation Trinkets, or shapeshifting. The players are free to choose the Pokéforms that best suit their characters and even give them color schemes outside the standard and Shiny colors, but there is a hard rule for this. If you want your character's Pokéform to be a Legendary, Mythical, or Ultra Beast, please ask the RP mods for approval. Outside the Arena, these Pokéforms are still OP, but we want to give leeway for tributes who theoretically can have them such as deities.

Detective Gamechanger's Base
A sharp-dressed man in a green suit and yellow tie is standing by the entrance of the base. He is of average height and has whitish skin, though still a bit darker. He is Billy, one of the nominators and the organizer of the party.
Indeed, after the nominators' returned and settled their problems, they decide to have fun with a party. Billy also sent invites for all the other nominators out there, as well as basically anyone else, including tributes, non associated parties, interested nominators who haven't participate yet, or even those who just wants to hang out.
The place itself in the base is refurbished for party purposes. Fancy chairs and tables are set everywhere for people to relax, as well as put food and other objects for the latter. There's also various collections showcased, including those belonging to the Detective, like his classic cars. Various themes to the base are set too, including detective noir as GC would have preferred.
Billy is now awaiting for other guests to arrive. He is also ready to give them a pleasant surprise during the party pertaining to his nation.

Welp, this season was a bust. (Nina remarks as the light above Manaphy's VR chamber goes red.) Guess it's up to me to carry things over to the next season, then.
Da-...Darnit!! (Eye-Sicle growls, quickly censoring himself due to Stef's two boys playing close by.) What's with my terrible luck all of a sudden??
I think it's just the way things go sometimes, sir. (Stanford says.)
(Meanwhile, Kay is with Tay, who is still disguised as Plessie.)
Gosh, Tay, when you're like this, there's a lotta you to hug. (Kay chuckles, lying on Tay's back.)
(Tay chuckles as well.)
Hopefully this'll all blow over and you'll be able to go back to normal soon though, right? (Kay says, looking at his face.)
(Tay nods, looking a little anxious.)
(Kay slides down Tay's neck and to his head.) Hey, no matter what happens, I got your back, okay? No matter how long you gotta be disguised like this. (She reassures him. She gives him a hug.)
(Tay smiles and nods, seeming to feel a little better.)
Yeah, that's the spirit, Tay. (Kay says.)

Thank you... (July says. After a moment's hesitation, she gives Tokage a quick hug before heading back down to join the others.)
Oh, July, that was beautiful! (Shelby says.) You have such a beautiful voice.
Uh huh! You knocked it outta the park like usual! (June agrees.)

Hmm...well...maybe in a little bit. I was so nervous up there. I think I need a minute. (July says.)

That night, while Monkey Buccaneer was sleeping, Monkey Sub snuck away from the camp, trying not to make too much noise. Mermaid versions of Luz and Amity found Monkey Buccaneer and woke it up."Hmm? What are ya two here for?" Monkey Buccaneer asked them, still tired. The mermaids proceeded to interrogate it on where Headless Ichthys is held captive.
"Ya asking the wrong tribute. I don't have a clue on where it is."
Luz and Amity get a call from Headless Ichthys itself, who says that it's happily working for Monkey Buccaneer. The two left it be and walked away, to the relief of Monkey Buccaneer. It tried to go back to sleep, but with the ruckus a clone of 2023!Ariel began causing, it wasn't easy.
Meanwhile, Monkey Sub snuck into Flounder's camp. Like a Monkey Buccaneer would do, it was going to plunder it. What it wasn't expecting was Flounder to greet it with a chainsaw.
"HEY HEY HEY STAY OUTTA MY CAMP!"
"Nope!" Monkey Sub said to itself as it turned its submarine back around, dashing back to its camp.
The next morning, Monkey Sub placed the supplies they have so far in Monkey Buccaneer's boat.
"What are ya doing?" Monkey Buccaneer asked.
"Can't stay in one place for too long. We gotta keep moving. Especially since there's a killer flounder living nearby here."
The monkeys got into their vehicles and started looking for a new place to stay. On their way, they came across Ursula, who suddenly burped.
"Thank you, Ursula, that was awesome." Monkey Sub sarcastically said, continuing to drive afterwards.
"Sub, what do ya think will be in the next Bloons update? Looks very exciting!" Monkey Buccaneer asked Monkey Sub, giving them something to talk about.
"Don't know. Maybe I'll finally receive a paragon."
"Actually, Wizard Monkey is the next up for one."
"Damn it."
The two finally got to more land and set up camp there for the night.

Tokage got a bit surprised by July's quick hug, letting out a small gasp. He still nonetheless nodded at her as they got back to the others.
"Indeed! You sing remarkably well, young lady!" James said, clapping.
"Yeah guys, let her breath." Nick said to August.
Lucian approached the group.
"Lucian? Are you alright?" Aaron asked. The Lycanroc smiled in answer.
"I'm okay. Congratulations girls. You have beautiful voices." he said to July and the Shels.
Lucian then got up on two legs, struggling because of his weaker leg before hugging tight June and Aaron.

Oh, thank you… (Shelby says. She back to being as quiet as Shelley.)
(Oscar quickly goes to support Lucian and hugs June and Aaron as well.) You all looked like you were having a great time dancing, too.

"Yeah... That was just lovely... No pun intended." Lucian muttered.
"You two certainly look better than before. I am glad." Aaron said with a smile, rubbing Lucian and Oscar's heads.
"Phew! Well, Kiki and Lulu are feeling better now! Alex exclaimed to the others.

The Arena
As the Dragalge feeds tuna sandwiches to some fish Pokémon, it witnesses the Monkey Sub exposing the Monkey Buccaneer's voodoo doll of the Merman Fighter to everyone. This distracts it long enough for the fishes to turn into Eldritch Abominations and tear it apart. Just then, Abraham accidentally drains the ocean while trying to formulate a grand plan to kill it, leaving only the fresh and saltwater lakes behind, and also a few with just the right salinity to support all aquatic tributes. The Kingdra immediately jumps into the nearest habitable lake and tells Eridan to do what his heart desires, but he screams and runs away. The Pokémon also heeds Mermaids Luz and Amity's warning not to trade with Charybdis, although Merfolks Morgan and Baobhan Sith chase the anglerfish off for it. The Kingdra then finds another news group reporting on the season and jumps right in front of them for the camera.
The Database Library, Basement
Ally just sits frozen on her seat at Sebastian attempting to kill the alternate Ariel with a sticky bomb on Pearl, only for it to be a dud.
This is similar to Asgore Dreemurr murdering Ralsei back in Season 220, even if I cannot determine if the latter is an alternate version of Asriel Dreemurr!
She then wonders how 6k1 and her clone are doing in their trips and hopes that they're taking care of themselves.
"Rarity, are you okay? We gotta get you and your friends outta here soon!"
Rockruff
Arena
Night 2, as Monkey Sub was about to go to sleep, it noticed Monkey Buccaneer starting to make a doll out of some of the supplies."Buc, what are you doing?" Monkey Sub asked.
"Oh, nothing!" Monkey Buccaneer hid the doll away.
"Clearly you're doing something! Let me see!"
"No!" Monkey Buccaneer tried to object, but Monkey Sub snatched the doll away from it and found out it was a voodoo doll of Merman Fighter.
"IS THAT A VOODOO DOLL!" Monkey Sub shouted for all the tributes to hear.
"Uhh..."
Monkey Sub realized that it just revealed themselves to everyone. "We have to go."
"Again?"
"Yes!"
Monkey Sub and Monkey Buccaneer got back into their vehicles and sailed out.
"When the HELL did you learn how to make a voodoo doll?!"
"Wizard Monkey taught me how to."
"Of course it would..."
"I didn't want to show ya because I knew ya would have a reaction like this!"
Monkey Buccaneer and Monkey Sub argued for a while. Both of them got angry at each other, and they separated to cool down.
"Could have been a great plan until Sub ruined it..." Monkey Buccaneer mumbled to itself before it fell asleep on its boat. Monkey Sub, feeling guilty about its outburst earlier, fell asleep too.
The next day, Monkey Sub woke up, with Monkey Buccaneer nowhere in sight.
"Buc? Buc!" Monkey Sub tried calling out for it, but it was gone. It looked throughout most of the arena and couldn't find it. It was harder to navigate too, with a lot of the water gone.
"Damn it! Where is it! Buc, listen, I'm sorry!"
Monkey Sub came across what looked like a pool of gold.
"Buc likes gold! I'll get some to make it up to it!" Monkey Sub said to itself before getting out of its submarine, swimming to the pool. The "pool of gold" turned out to be quicksand, pulling Monkey Sub in. Monkey Sub screamed for help, but nobody was around, and it sunk into its sandy grave.
Monkey Buccaneer, on the other hand, woke up in an unfamiliar part of the arena. Its boat must have drifted away as it was sleeping, taking it with it. It got up and saw that Pearl and 2023!Ariel was nearby.
"Sub? Wait... hey!" Monkey Buccaneer said, shifting its attention to 2023!Ariel. "Aren't ya the one who bothered me 2 nights ago?!" It sailed its boat over, but soon noticed that Pearl had on a sticky bomb.
"IT'S A BOMB!" Monkey Buccaneer sailed away again, even though the bomb was a dud. Once it felt like it was safe, it stopped, now focusing on trying to find out where Monkey Sub was.
"Sub! Sub! Where are ya, Sub?! If ya are hiding from last night, I'm already over it!"
Monkey Buccaneer spent the rest of the day looking for Monkey Sub, not knowing of its fate.
Team Fruit Salad's Pit
As Monkey Sub drowned in quicksand, Iscream snickered."Well that was a dumb way to die, don't you think?" Iscream asked Fwench Fwy.
"I feel bad for it." Fwench Fwy responded.
"Monkey Sub, no!" Letooce exclaimed from the work area.
"At least it didn't die day one?" Strawbrey tried to reassure her.
"At least."

"Erm..." Lucian muttered, looking at everyone else, unsure.
"It's okay, you two. No one is going to mock you if you don't know how to dance." Tokage assured.
"Yeah don't worry about it! You even got that loony stuff going on with you!" Alex also encouraged. Lucian then looked up at Aaron and June.
"I think they're right. I and June can dance with you and choose a slow song if that will make you more comfortable." Aaron said with a smile. Lucian took a deep breath.
"Alright... We should give it a try." he said.
"In that case... July? Shellies? How about you three team up for the next hit?" Nick suggested.

The Last Chance
With Pythor getting going after the disaster with Spoon, he went back to Dark Bale's base, quickly informing his fellow villains of what he went through and what he had discovered.
Pythor: So it turned out my assistants were an incompetent bunch, but I was more than glad to take all the information I could and now this "Spoon" is some sort of dark overlord.
Dark Bale: Another competitor shows up just as things are getting heated up with the other Dark Nominators. ]]
Mr. Mind: So it seems the field gets cluttered again, but I feel a great fall is about to happen. Once that is over, we can give it some time before we increase our threat.
Dark Bale: And how's Zetsu's latest escapade going?
Mr. Mind: From what I've gathered, he's doing impressively well, Bale might truly be in trouble now. If that monster he made isn't mere talk then he's guaranteed to push Bale's limits.
Pythor: Hmm, I'll go in closely just in case.
Bluebird: Hey that's not your turn to attack!
Pythor: Well, pardon me then I got some bugs to crush. There now that's having manners. Besides my good pal Gamerugin wants some violent action and bloodshed.
As he said it, Gamerugin roared and demonstrated its intent to follow Pythor's command to attack.
Dark Bale: Well if you want to go out and embarrass yourself then do so.
Pythor: Glad to know I got you guys' backup.
He then went there without further ado. With Bale and co. they had engaged Zetsu's new monster in battle but were currently losing the fight. The Mold Undead was capable of instant regeneration and thus it had been able to wear them down while infecting a good deal of them with its mold and brute strength, Zetsu just watched from afar as even Bale had failed to do much and was prevented from transforming by the mold covering his device.
Bale: Darn it, this thing is strong and it already prevented me from doing much.
Lucina: There must be a way to defeat it but none of our attacks do a thing.
Zetsu: You all are seriously struggling the second you can't cut down an opponent. What will you even do here?
Amethyst: How about you come down here, eggface!
She was then grabbed by the mold monster's arm and tossed aside. However then Zetsu was attacked by a newcomer, Rouki, who had decided to step in and deal with the issue at hand.
Rouki: A coward like you hiding behind your pet, how embarrassing.
"Bingo! If two species hate each other, they will wipe each other out on their own."

Oh, alright. (Oscar says. He just hopes they don't scare everybody if either of them acts "toony" in front of them (at least the people not used to it, anyway).)
Oh, that would be great! (Shelby says, looking at Shelley and July.) Won't it?
Yes it would! (Shelley says, nodding enthusiastically. Admittedly she is looking forward to hearing Shelby sing again.)
Well...I suppose so. (July says. She seems much more comfortable with singing in front of everyone now.)

Season 280
Night falls. The Frog, thick-skulled creature that it is, sleeps soundly through the ruckus caused by 2023!Ariel's clone army. Visions of tiny angels and defecation cloud its mind, but it's too thoroughly nonsapient to comprehend them.
The Ferryman's night isn't so restful. Not that he's needed sleep since he became a Husk, mind you, but just because they did not rouse him awake doesn't make these inexplicably identical mermaids any less aggravating. He paddles frantically across the surface of the sea, searching for any sign of Ariel-less peace and quiet.
The spot he finds is devoid of Ariel clones. Devoid of other tributes, not so much. One of those bizarre creatures from the Bloodbath - "Pokemon", he remembers the organisers calling them - must have made it to the tiny sandbar before the Ferryman did, and the look in its eyes makes it clear it'll defend its territory with lethal force.
Good. He could use an excuse to stretch these old bones.
Before long, it's clear this "Samurott" had underestimated him. Convinced, no doubt, that the hunched skeleton in ragged robes, armed only with an ornate oar, was easy pickings. The Ferryman was quick to disabuse the creature of that notion - his bones, ancient as they were, could move with blinding speed, and in an era of motor-powered boats his oar had long since been repurposed into a vicious, sharp-edged glaive. Those stabs of Samurott's horn he did not dodge, he parried with ease.
In the end, while unable to land a killing blow, the Ferryman was victorious. Samurott slinked off under the waves, muttering something about how pathetic it was. The Ferryman felt too polite to agree out loud.
The next day had an uneventful beginning. The Ferryman took the opportunity to recuperate after the intense battle the night before, doing absolutely nothing for hours on end. He'd earned it. The Frog similarly meandered, unable to understand the talk of a "Holy Grail" some higher powernote was projecting into its tiny brain. It understood only hunting, and prey was not forthcoming.
Then, twice in quick succession, disaster struck. The Frog was first to go, obliterated by an entire island nation falling on top of it, whose inhabitants proceeded to throw a party celebrating its demise. The Ferryman was next - his energy restored, he decided it was about time someone punished that accursed mermaid for all the trouble she'd caused. But whatever weapon Ariel had gotten her hands on, it proved far superior to the Ferryman's trusty oar, and before long, an inanimate pile of blue bones and white cloth was left to sink to the ocean floor.
The District 11 Nominator Base
From within their humble little rust bucket of a residence, Kafka sighed. Another season gone to pot... how long had it been since they'd gotten a podium finisher again? And the host had pulled some baseless accusation about money out of nowhere, too, just to rub salt in the wound. What use did Kafka have for Euros, anyway?
Ah, well. Back to the drawing board, again and again, until something finally worked. Such was the way of HGS.

With the Mold Undead keeping up its assault, Bale got an idea on how to defeat it. He recognized it was kind of impossible to beat it physically but another way was still an option. Seeing as Pearl and Amethyst were pinned down by mold projectiles but Garnet was still on the fight
Bale: Change of plans, Garnet could you unfuse please? I know how to beat this creep.
Garnet: By using Ruby and Sapphire's powers individually to induce thermal shock, yeah I foresaw this plan now that you've settled on it.
Bale: Alright, let's go.
As they did, the Mold Undead was bewildered when Garnet unfused into two, meanwhile Rouki then engaged Zetsu in battle, with him using his Crescent Moon Blade to hack away at the Zettonian's body who expertly dodged his blows.
Zetsu: You seem stronger now. But strength won't be enough.
Rouki: Do not underestimate me, alien, I won't leave without a victory here.
Pythor on the other hand decided to address the call he got from Skales and the others.
Pythor: Hmm, sure, I'll see you guys there later, I got things to handle here.

(July and the Shels go back to the mic and look for a song.)
Let’s see…oh, this song looks fun. (Shelby points to “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart”.)
That’s not going to be too fast, is it? (July asks.)
I hope not. (Shelley says.)
(They start the song. Oscar immediately finds himself tapping his foot to the music and looks to Lucian.)

"O-Okay..." Lucian said to June, a tad nevous.
July and the Shels then started to sing and everyone went back to dancing.
Lucian's tail wiggled to the music as well at first, the Lycanroc too nervous to dance properly. But seeing Aaron dance once more with June, he started to move better.

Night 3, during Monkey Buccaneer's travels, It came across Deonil.
"Hey! What's a fire creature like ya doing with a bunch of sea dwellers?!" Monkey Buccaneer asked, but it got no response. Instead, Deonil pulled out two guitars.
"What do ya have that for?" but then realized what it was trying to do. It wanted a rock off.
"Well, I guess I could-"
Monkey Buccaneer remembered what Monkey Sub told it before.
"Now's not the time for fooling around! We're in a dangerous and unknown situation! We can't afford to let our guards down!"
"No!" Monkey Buccaneer yelled at Deonil. "Ya aren't fooling me! Ya messed with the wrong pirate if ya think-"
Deonil pushed one of the guitars closer to Monkey Buccaneer. It wasn't taking no for an answer.
"Oh alright." Monkey Buccaneer finally gave in, grabbing the guitar. "Just this once."
The two proceeded with the rock off. Monkey Buccaneer got into it more as it went on, trying to show off. This was the opposite of what Monkey Sub would have wanted it to do, and maybe it should have just taken out its bow to shoot Deonil in the neck, but it was too late to do that now. Monkey Buccaneer was already having too much fun.
The two finished rocking out, and despite Monkey Buccaneer's efforts, Deonil was the one who was victorious.
"Not bad for a horse if I say so meself!" Monkey Buccaneer complimented it, not taking the lost harshly. Monkey Buccaneer was tired after that, and Deonil allowed it to stay at its camp for the night. Both of them soon went to sleep.
The day after, Monkey Buccaneer went back to looking for Monkey Sub, gathering more supplies on the way. Lugia joined it for a little bit, and Monkey Buccaneer decided to have more fun by putting on a wig of Lugia's head.
"Hey Lugia, I'm a legendary pokemon too!"
Monkey Buccaneer laughed to itself. Lugia soon left, leaving it alone again.
That gave it a chance to reflect on something. Monkey Sub probably wouldn't have allowed it to do that either. It had to be more careful, it's going to get itself killed otherwise. It would be hypocritical to be so reckless when it chewed out Monkey Sub for giving away their camp the other night.
"Now's not the time for fooling around!"
Monkey Buccaneer put its pirate hat back on. It had to keep moving.

That night, the Lugia claims to the Kingdra that the former saw Abraham, whom it had an argument with over who between them is the scariest, was strangled with kelp by Kokomi. In truth, he got entangled in it on his own and drowned, but since the Kingdra wasn't there to witness it, it eyes the Lugia with a little skepticism. The next day, the seahorse Pokémon, along with ICFTM, gets attacked by a wild Wooloo, so the Kingdra grabs a trumpet with its tail while ICFTM grabs a tuba. They then form a band and try calming the Wooloo down with their music, but it angrily bleats at them and attacks them.
After escaping the Wooloo, the Kingdra continues avoiding Charybdis, and then encounters a wild Morpeko. The seahorse tortures it with its experiments, with the former's Dragon-typing dampening any Electric attacks the guinea pig Pokémon makes to try escaping.
The Underground
While 6k2 is hanging out with Haze, 6k1 arrives at the campus of New Home School and looks around. It's just like how Toriel described it yesterday, and she hopes that her mom would have some free time for her later today. As she sees some monster children playing at the playground in the distance, she wonders how Frisk and Asriel are doing in class, but she decides not to visit them right now.
Last thing I want to do here's to embarrass them...
She goes to the security guard at the school entrance and introduces herself, then asks them when Toriel would be free. While 6k1's here to visit her, it isn't an emergency.
"She has a 1-hour lunch break in a few hours," says the guard.
"Alright." 6k1 sets an alarm on her phone. "I'll just go explore the city in the meantime. Hope I won't be late."
"Rarity, are you okay? We gotta get you and your friends outta here soon!"

Ally's visor flashes red at the season's end. Normally, she would just shrug at the Kingdra's death, but this time, its sacrifice was all for nought twice over. First, the Gamemakers had to revive it for "fairness' sake", and then it got caramelized and eaten by Captain Nemo, who somehow survived by traumatizing Anago to death with a seemingly innocent question, and then got away with a Podium Finish in the end. Ally recalls a similar incident in Season 94 involving Queen Mother V and Two-Faced, but due to her limitations with her Future Vision, history repeating itself completely blindsided her.

Ally knows that neither Captain Nemo's nor Anago's nominator will be thrilled about the procedure to correct this, but it has to be done. She also hopes that 6k1 wouldn't be that mad about her Kingdra being caught in the crossfire, but for now, she just soft reboots herself and proceeds with the usual protocol.
She first receives the report that Ariel, Melody, and 6k1's two Pokémon didn't faint from their respective VR sessions, and the former two have returned to their kingdom while the mons have been kept in the Pokémon Storage System. Ally then checks the Earth Prime calendar, where the whole page for June has the Progress Pride flag in the background.
I am certain that 6001 would understand me nominating some more LGBT+ tributes on her behalf for the rest of the month.
She data clones the Ruby Squad Fusion and the Topaz Fusion and calls their respective component Gems if they want to use VR this season. Doc, Army, Navy, and Leggy know that Eyeball can't be there to complete the fusion, but they'll still try controlling Data Giant Ruby anyway. The two Topazes, on the other hand, are reluctant to use VR because fighting in the Arena would remind them of the stress they had deep down while working for Yellow Diamond, but since they're elite warriors and are taking Garnet's yoga lessons regularly, they don't see why they shouldn't try it.

Following instinctively Oscar's moves, Lucian got on his friend's paws as his friend was bouncing around on his tail. Not even fully realizing it, the Lycanroc turned into a ball bearing his colors and his eyes, allowing Oscar to juggle with him.
"Holy...!" Aaron gasped, stopping in his track. He was aware of Lucian and Oscar's cartoony nature, but seeing it again like that certainly surprised him. Alex and Tokage also got shocked.
"Goodness, what am I seeing?" James asked, dumbfounded.
"That must be the weird moves the kids got while staying in Bugs's world." Nick guessed.
"Yeah but... Didn't expect them to do that." Arthur said.

Later that night, Esme returns to the teacher's lounge, still shuddering and her face all pale.
"Are you alright?" asks Paper.
"Y-Yes... but I think I should take a break this season." She goes to the portal leading back to medieval France. "I tried fighting that Stalker with my dance moves, b-but his illusions were everywhere..."
Paper checks the TV and sees him watching Deonil's comedy routine. "I hope he doesn't come back here, and it's okay Esme, take all the rest you need."
"But who's going to be the substitute Dance instructor?" asks Blue.
WHO ELSE BUT THE FABULOUS ROBOT HIMSELF?! Mini-Mettaton breakdances on the floor. EVEN IF I CANNOT TURN INTO MY EVEN MORE FABULOUS EX FORM, UNLIKE THE ORIGINAL, I CAN STILL BUST A MOVE!

Paper and Shill stomp their hooves for him while the Pearls clap and Esme simply nods.
"If there isn't anything else," says the dancer, "then I shall be going."
"Goodbye and take care!" says Paper, and she and the faculty see her off.
"Anyway," the Headmare continues, "I'll go call Power to tell her about our latest graduate! It's been a long time since we last talked, so I hope she's doing alright!"
But when she tries calling her on her crystal ball, Power doesn't pick up.

The Arena
While the Dragalge has a philosophical discussion with It Came From the Metro while they float in a wagon, the Kingdra mistakes the Primarina for a zombie and repeatedly Headbutts it until it dies. Meanwhile, 10 clones of the alternate Ariel annoy them and the other tributes, even Ariel Prime and Melody, who have just been pardoned by Mew Lettuce for the crime of... doing the PB&J Dance.
"While it was unfair for Mew Lettuce to accuse us of something we were forced to do... did you really have to disturb our courtroom meeting, Other Me...'s?"
"Yeah, Mom 2, er... Mom 3...? 4...?"
"I need to have a talk with the real one soon..."
They look for her near a waterfall abyss the next day, but Melody accidentally slaps Pearl into it with her tail.
"I'm so sorry!" says the young mermaid! "Mom, let's go down and rescue h—"
But Pearl manages to swim up the waterfall and push them into the abyss instead, never to be seen again.
Meanwhile, the Dragalge warns Cumulus Gallus not to eat his burger, for it was poisoned by Sailor Neptune. Even if the Pokémon makes it clear that it wasn't the one that poisoned it, Cumulus Gallus still thinks the burger's alright and takes a bite out of it. The Dragalge then facefins at him keeling over and dying, and then swims away.
