Welcome to HGS: Another Side Another Story. It is a roleplay spinoff for the Hunger Games Simulator forum game, akin to both the RP's in the Roleplaying section as well as the ITTs in Forum Games. It tells the story of the Hunger Games in the Arena of Panem, the nominators who sent the tributes, the tributes themselves both in and out of the Arena or even other people relevant to the Games. In addition, it also tells their stories beyond the Arena.
You can jump right in with any character, like your nominator self, your tributes, etc. The structure of this RP will be open-world. Don't worry about not being skilled/experienced enough or being new to RP'ing. Finally, ASAS accepts any skill level or RP style. Other than these, there are some important rules to note, which are:
- No godmodding will be allowed or tolerated here. The offending player will be given punishment depending on the severity.
- Please communicate anything important you plan on another player with the said player first. Don't just execute it without their consent.
- Don't be rude to other players, both out and in-universe. This extends to RP offenses like railroading, guilt-tripping, coercing, or other forms of forcing them.
- This RP is related to the Hunger Games Simulation:Beyond the Possibilities forum game. Thus it will have events based from that game, including the tributes. This means if you want to RP as tributes, please nominate them officially on the thread first, with misses not being counted. This has to be done after an incident with a player who hasn't joined the game itself yet.
- Since this RP is Loose Canon in relation to the main HGS thread, the host's interpretation of events isn't necessarily 100% canon. Every player has the right to deviate from what the host says and go with their own interpretations. If multiple players have their tributes involved in the same event(s), please communicate with each other so that you're on the same page regarding how you see them.
- This RP chronicles the lives of the nominators and their tributes behind the scenes. While dark plots are acceptable, the overall tone of the RP should be light-hearted and comedic. This RP is not a Cosmic Horror Story or action story about defeating evil. It is a Slice of Life comedy with some adventure to it, first and foremost. Our previous RP, Convergence, is not representative of the intended tone, and the grimdark tone of that RP is one of the main reasons it was retooled.
- Nominators and tributes alike can transform into Pokemon whenever they enter a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon World (but they can bypass this with certain items/methods or shapeshifting) or via other means outside it such as a season event, Transformation Trinkets, or shapeshifting. The players are free to choose the Pokéforms that best suit their characters and even give them color schemes outside the standard and Shiny colors, but there is a hard rule for this. If you want your character's Pokéform to be a Legendary, Mythical, or Ultra Beast, please ask the RP mods for approval. Outside the Arena, these Pokéforms are still OP, but we want to give leeway for tributes who theoretically can have them such as deities.

Detective Gamechanger's Base
A sharp-dressed man in a green suit and yellow tie is standing by the entrance of the base. He is of average height and has whitish skin, though still a bit darker. He is Billy, one of the nominators and the organizer of the party.
Indeed, after the nominators' returned and settled their problems, they decide to have fun with a party. Billy also sent invites for all the other nominators out there, as well as basically anyone else, including tributes, non associated parties, interested nominators who haven't participate yet, or even those who just wants to hang out.
The place itself in the base is refurbished for party purposes. Fancy chairs and tables are set everywhere for people to relax, as well as put food and other objects for the latter. There's also various collections showcased, including those belonging to the Detective, like his classic cars. Various themes to the base are set too, including detective noir as GC would have preferred.
Billy is now awaiting for other guests to arrive. He is also ready to give them a pleasant surprise during the party pertaining to his nation.

You're right... I'm kinda worried about ever sending I.N back to the Arena for similar reasons, to be honest. The poor guy never had a happy moment in those seasons he was in. But who knows? Maybe next time will be a happier time for him. Same with Power.

6k1 then receives another message from a new nominator and replies:
Greetings, I'm TRP-6001, Database Manager and Head Librarian of the Database Library, and thank you for reaching me via our official website. Feel free to browse the Database and Wiki to know how the Hunger Games works. And don't worry about being mute, I can understand sign language if that's how you're going to talk with the others next season.

Billy's Mansion
When Libre hanged up briefly, Billy said to the rescuers, "I have one last thing to tell you before your journey. I have calculated the possible transformations. Here is my data." Billy then displays it to the trio. It reveals that the most likely Pokémon Sandy, Tsubakura, and Patchouli would transform to will be a Greedent, Tranquill, and Gothitelle respectively. The trio simply say small words about it, before leaving for real.
After this, Billy resumes his call with Libre, "yes, I am indeed a nominator. Anyway, as fellow nominators, I wish to meet you so we can talk more about each other. But I suppose we can just wait until next season for that, as well as a party after the season that will be held by one of my friends."
Meanwhile, the invitees to June's party have finally arrived at the Mansion. As they are waiting, already dressed up in party clothes, the invited staff members arrived. It includes Dr. Shrnietr, who looks okay despite the akuma attack hours or so ago. George and Kayla then open a portal for all the guests to drop by the party venue, to which everyone crosses it. They then find themselves outside of the venue.
PMD Universe
In the PMD universe, the trio eventually arrives. The Greedent is the first to speak as she says, "howdy everyone, I'm Sandy. I know you'll from our previous adventure! And wow, this Pokémon form looks pretty similar to me! This is interesting!"
The Tranquill, who for some reason still has the Senri hat that Tsubakura wears in their human form, but resized, then speaks next, "so this is what the universe is like? Heh, it's not bad when compared to Mugenri or the Outside World. It will even be a rich research material to me, but I hope for some sake. Anyway, I, Tsubakura, believe we have met before, right?"
Finally, the Gothitelle speaks, "hello. I'm Patchouli, and you may also recall me back in the Underground. Anyway, I'm curious on how my new form will affect my powers. I heard a Gothitelle can affect spacetime by a significant degree."
Infinite Darkness HQ, Exegol
"The deeds of those two men back in their world remind me a bit of the Oripathy I'm also infected with currently." Talulah says as she looks at the projection of data about Heinrich and Patrick alongside Palpatine.
"Indeed, I think the GUILT will serve as a great tool to spread chaos to the galaxy."
"So, is there any way we can recruit them to our cause?"
"That man is currently sending them on trial in Kendor. While we could take them by force, I believe this will be too risky considering that will bring even more attention to us."
"In other words, we should recruit another version of them under his radar instead?
"That's what I'm thinking, Talulah. Now that you have mentioned it, we will carry the operation now." With this, Palpatine starts walking to find henchmen who can do the retrieval mission on Heinrich and Patrick.

Billy's three tributes got out of the portal and introduced themselves to the team, who did the same.
"Yeah! Except, you know... you're much more fat. No offense, though." Alex giggled at Sandy.
"Alex..." Aaron groaned.
"We did, at the Hotlands when we recovered a Dragon Ball." Tokage answered to Tsubakura, waving his head's leaf.
Once it was done, the group wasted no time and moved again.
Eventually, they reached the large entrance of Scipion's lair, just as Clyde indicated.
"Finally we're here... Well, it's time to kick Scipion's butt!" Alex exclaimed.
"Not if we have anything to say about it, and we do!! Gehehehehe!!" a familiar evil laugh echoed.
Alex realized that both Freddy and Onox were here, at the top of a rock. The evil Gengar had his arms crossed, grinning at the group. Onox looked at them angrily and cracked his neck.
"My congratulations, dear heroes! You made it all the way here! However!! I am afraid that your little journey ends here." the Gengar hammily exclaimed.
"Well, we should have expected this. We'll have to deal with them first." Tokage muttered as the rescuers got into a fighting stance.
"I assume the Morgrem is somewhere trying to assist you." James grunted at the duo. Freddy shook his head.
"On the contrary! You will have to face the two of us, by ourselves! But I see that you have indeed brought new opponents for us..." Freddy said, his grin widening at the sight of the newcomers.
"You know you're outnumbered, so you should just give up, it'll make things much easier!" Aaron said, trying to avoid the fight and gain some time.
"Gehehe!! I don't think you exactly understand. You may have the upper hand when it comes to numbers. But most of you have yet to know how your new bodies and power works! Us, on the other hand..." Freddy said, before showing the group his Gengarite before absorbing it.
"Wait, what??"
"Holy crap! He can mega-evolve like you, Aaron!" Alex exclaimed.
"Unfortunately... We should have mentioned this to you earlier. He is a tough one." James sighed in annoyance. Aaron growled to himself. As much as he would like to use his mega-form, he preferred to save it for Scipion himself, giving that he could also do that.
"And that is not all, my dear friends! Onox!" Freddy cackled as he finished transforming. Onox roared as an electric aura appeared around him. Gathering enough electricity, he created an electrical flail.
"Okay, that's definitively new!" Alex growled, fire erupting from his mouth.
"The boss wants you punched. And I'll punch you, no matter what!"
Onox was the first one to attack, launching his flail at the group.
"Wowie! I guess he really wants to take a piece of us..." Nick said, hopping away from the flail. Onox roared angrily and summoned another Overdrive at the team. At the same time Freddy sank into the ground and reappeared in front of the newcomers.
"Gehehe!! Allow me to see what you are made of, strangers!" he cackled, invocating a large Shadow Ball from his mouth.

EEK! I wasn't asleep! I was just restin'! (She yelps, springing up and adding more illusionary decorations.)
Hey! Hold up! We're done! We just gotta all get back together! (The original June explains.)
Huh?
(Those from Billy's group will find the Pearls, Mr. Star's group, and Stanford's companions trawling around the outside of the lair still looking for the wayward duplicate Junes.)
(They also arrive at the same time as the rest of Kay's squad, consisting of the white Yoshi Tay, a Micro-Goomba, a Fire Piranha Plant, a Rex, and a Sledgehammer Bro.)
Oh, are you guys here for the party, too? (Tay asks Billy and the others.) We're just figuring out who we need to talk to, or if we need to just head in, or what.
What are all those guys looking for? (The Micro-Goomba wonders out loud, observing everyone scanning the area surrounding the Lair.)
"Don't worry, Lucian, we'll make it through this."

"It's okay, Other June, we'll find the rest of you so you can fuse with the original!"
"Zoroarks can't fuse like us, Blue!"
"Oops, sorry..." She says to the original June. "And speaking of fusion..." she then says to Yellow, "can we talk about it after the party?"
She takes a brief glance at the new guests and nods at Blue.
"Sure thing, and go watch over that clone while I greet the others."
"Alright."
Yellow then looks for Billy and introduces herself.
"And you must be the founder of the Business School, right? If so, then congratulations to Amanda for passing it!"
She shakes his hand.
"By the way, are you sure you have enough time to party here before the Nominator Games? It'll be next season already!"
Green Mountains —> Lair Entrance
Billy's rescue team finally arrives, and 6k1's team introduces themselves while Ralsei, Susie, and Alphys greet them.
"Oh my god..." Alphys says to Sandy and Tsubakura, "I can't believe you're now smaller than me!"
"Awww!" Ralsei puts a hand to his cheek.
"C'mon, Toothpaste!" Susie rolls her eyes. "We must get going!"
And so everyone climbs the mountain, with Ralsei bumping up and down on his saddle as Big Mac gallops across the rocky terrain. Once they've arrived, Susie helps Ralsei down, who has now fully recovered, and they and the rest get into their battle stances. Ralsei, Susie, and Undyne glare at Freddy Mega Evolving while Alphys and Glimmer gasp at him, and also Onox summoning an electric flail.
"So these were the guys you fought earlier?" Undyne asks Ralsei and Susie.
"Yeah, we fought Freddy yesterday..."
"While I wrestled with that purple bozo just this morning!" Susie points her axe at Onox.
"Well, hot damn, do we have a huge challenge for us!"
Undyne summons her spear and wonders what she can do with it in her Pokéform. Glimmer also readies her staff while Alphys just shivers.
"C-C-C-Can I just... um... sit on that rock over there?" Alphys points to one in the corner. "I-I-I'm not ready for this..."
"M-Me neither..." says Glimmer, "but if the Rebellion can handle the Horde, then we can handle these guys, too!"
"Eeyup!" says Big Mac.
And so the battle begins. Ralsei wraps himself up, but his damaged scarf doesn't provide him with much defense. He and Susie quickly get out of the way of Onox's flail, but Susie runs straight into his Overdrive and is promptly knocked backwards.
"Why did you do that?!" Ralsei yells at her.
"To try powering up my Rude Buster!" she shouts back. "Just like in your world, remember?"
"Don't make me waste my Heal Prayer on you every time you do that!"
Meanwhile, Freddy ambushes Undyne's team from behind and prepares to fire a Shadow Ball. Glimmer tries shielding everyone with Light Screen, Undyne hurls her spear at Freddy, Big Mac attempts to charge into him with High Horsepower, while Alphys tries running away.

The huge Shadow Ball crashed on Glimmer's light screen, creating a mini-explosion, allowing Undyne's spear to hit Freddy on the forehead. The Gengar grunted and shook his head before grabbing the charging Big Mac with his claws.
"A little clever move there! Distracting me with the spear to hit me with a ground attack! But that will not be enough!!" Freddy said, attacking Big Mac with Shadow Claw. Getting out his huge tongue, he attempted to use Lick on the rest of 6k1 and Billy's tributes.
Noticing Alphys getting away, the Gengar sank into the ground again and reappeared in front of her, ready to attack her.
"Wait! You can't hurt her!! She's not fighting!!" Aaron shouted upon seeing the scene, rushing to help her. To his surprise, Freddy stared at Alphys for a moment before bursting into laughter.
"GEHEHEHE!! I'm sorry, then! I think we will take care of you after dealing with the actual fighters! Meanwhile, I suggest you sit down, watch and learn how we, Pokémons, fight!!" the Gengar cackled... Before letting her go like nothing happened and sank into the ground again.
Oh... At least the guy has way more standards than Scipion. Aaron thought, before dodging another one of Onox's blows. He noticed Susie getting up, recovering from Onox's overdrive.
"Don't push yourself too hard!" the Lucario yelled at Susie, worried when he saw that she wanted to be hit as much as she could to power up herself.
"If you idiots could pay more attention to what's going on!" Arthur shouted from the sky as a huge shadow appeared beneath those fighting Onox. Immediately, the Pokémons got away with Tokage grabbing the slower ones before the shadow exploded.
"Sounds like they're working as a team..." Nick grunted as Freddy appeared behind him and the two clashed with punches. The Gengar quickly retreated before Arthur could hit him with an arrow and Tokage with an energy ball.
"NOT FOR LONG!!" Alex screamed as he punched Onox, only for him to scream in pain and backing away.
"ACK!"
"You miserable fool! Cannot you see he covered himself with electricity?" James reprimanded, pointing at the electrical aura around Onox.
"It seems only projectiles can hurt the foul brute. Now sit down and let the real rescuers at work."
James distracted the Toxtricity with several Snipe Shot while dodging the flail rapidly. He even posed and mocked the Toxtricity for being slow. Aaron took this opportunity to fire a Focus Blast at him.
Noticing that his flail was way too slow. Onox roared and turned the flail into an electrical guitar. Screaming like a mad man, he slammed the guitar on the floor, creating rapid waves of electricity to better hit everyone else.
"ONOX!" Freddy shouted upon materializing behind him. The Gengar vomited several Sludge Bombs at the Toxtricity, empowering him even more.
"HEY! That's cheating!!" Alex yelled. Freddy sank into the ground once more, this time with a purple aura around him, preparing a powerful Night Shade.

Webking House
Clone!Libre has been busy messing around with a nearby junk pile outside Jace's house, taking pieces of it and some of the cobwebs from the house to make his own Grappling-Hook Pistol using webs. He fires a string of rope-thick web at a wall on the house, rapidly flying towards the wall after clicking the web gun a second time. Afterwards, he tests out a ballooning function he made with his web gun. Silk threads fly out of the web gun. spontaneously forming a triangular membrane. The membrane gets carried away by the wind and the earth's static field, rapidly sending Libre flying. In his impulse to scream in fear, he lets out a horrendous, mechanical-sounding screech, which led to Jace, Tommy, and Tubbo leaving the house just to see Libre crashing into one of the house windows. "...the fuck was that noise-HOLY SHIT, HE'S FLYING!" Tommy yells in reaction to seeing Libre flying. "You okay Libre?" Jace yells to ask. Libre weakly rises up and gives Jace a thumbs up, indicating that he's mostly unharmed, tiny cuts aside.
[Some time later...]
Libre finds another missed call from Billy. Of course to call him would mean having to talk to him (which he can't), so instead he texts him a message.
Hey Billy, this is Libre. Yes i'm a nominator. Is there like a time where we can meet and get to know each other? Also I can't speak, my synth voicebox's busted.

"Awww! Anyway, looks like the season's about to start! See ya later!"
Power keeps her crystal ball and watches Data Tank make a few snapping noises, as if to ask, "what could possibly go wrong?" He gets promptly picked up by an eagle and dropped on his shell.
"Ugh, Rainbow Dash must be groaning back home, even if her pet was most likely cloned..."
Meanwhile, Data Gummy crawls towards an insane Yoshiko and drags her to a strange machine. He hooks themselves to it and presses several buttons with his snout, and with a jolt of electricity, Yoshiko's sanity is restored. She thanks Gummy before leaving, while he just stares at her and licks his eye.
Who am I? Who adopted me? What am I doing here? he thinks.
Power just goes "aww..." at the scene, even if she knows that he was most likely data cloned, too.
The Arena
As soon as the horn sounds, Vriska flies away from the cornucopia but bumps into Kooper on the way.
"Go away, shell8east!" she yells at him before taking off again.
She then finds a treasure chest similar to the one she found when she was younger and discovers a replica of the Pop-a-matic Vrillyhoo Hammer.
However, Upgrade-bot, CATS, and Cyberdramon also want it and start fighting over it.
"I don't need more weapons..." says Vriska, "8ut this reminds me so much of John..."
She joins in the fight and tries mind-controlling her opponents into giving it to her.
The Database Library, Basement
6k1 wonders why seasons are taking longer to be produced in general. Is it because the Control Room's tech can't handle all the events that keep getting suggested by the fans? Hopefully the Simulator will be powerful enough to handle all of them...
In the meantime, she goes to Mimi's room, picks up her pet, and sits in the corner.
"My little furball..." says 6k1, "I'll be attending the Nominator Games, and I might be choosing you as my partner."
"Really?" asks Mimi, "I-I'll go with you if you choose me, even if we might die horribly there..."
The DM gives her a reassuring headpat. "Don't worry, I'll arrange for our revivals like I always do."
The Starble smiles. "Thanks... a-and... i-is Arky coming, too?"
"Yes, if Billy is chosen to bring him to the Arena, too."
"Yay!!!" Mimi jumps in 6k1's arms, but stops when her antennae flicker.
"But but... what if I end up hurting him?"
6k1 sighs. "I know you're worried, but remember that everything you do in the Arena is mostly beyond your control. It's still your choice if you want your bad memories of it removed after the season, but you should be aware of the risks when entering."
Mimi nods in understanding.
"And speaking of Arcturus... I noticed that you were trying to impress him at the park yesterday."
The Starble blushes.
"Remember what we said last night? I won't judge you for whatever it is that you're hiding from me, so don't be afraid to tell me."
She blushes harder. "O-Okay..."
"So... what happened to you? Why are you acting so nervous around him lately?"
"Because... because..."
Mimi curls up into a ball.
"He's my best friend, but... I really wanna get closer to him..."
Lair Entrance
Big Mac is scratched by Freddy, but he doesn't fall down thanks to his high defense. In fact, he feels it getting stronger thanks to his Stamina Ability.
Freddy then licks the other tributemons. Undyne dodges him while Glimmer shrivels up and gets paralyzed, but her aura emanating from her Synchronize Ability inflicts the paralysis on Freddy, too. Alphys also shivers when Freddy licks her, but she doesn't feel anything afterwards.
Aaron then tells Freddy to stop attacking her, so he lets her go. Alphys sighs in relief as she walks to the nearby rock and sits on it.
"Thank god for that..." She flares open her frills and looks at the sun. "Maybe I should try charging myself while I watch..."
Meanwhile, Aaron helps Susie up while Arthur warns her and Ralsei of the incoming shadow. They both grab Tokage and run away with him just before it explodes. They then leave the others to fight Freddy while they focus on fighting Onox.
"Susie..." says Ralsei while healing her, "be very careful where you swing your axe!"
"I know, I'll continue firing more Rude Busters at Onox!"
She looks at her axe, which now has sparks crackling around it.
"That being said... HEY PUNK! TRY TAKING A LOAD OF THESE!!!"
She fires the electrified Rude Busters at him, just as he turns his flail into a guitar and slams it on the ground. Susie jumps out of the way but Ralsei is knocked down by the incoming shockwave. Thankfully it wasn't strong enough to KO him immediately.
Freddy then powers up Onox before attacking Undyne's team with Night Shade. Undyne and Big Mac get hit, but shake it off and try hitting him with Waterfall and Heavy Slam, respectively, while Glimmer screams in agony from the attack and the paralysis. It triggers her bad memories of being restrained by Shadow Weaver's Anti-Magic device.

As he was walking with Lucian, Scipion watched the season.
"Not even day 1, and Lucifer wants to take over the world..." he muttered to himself, amused.
To his surprise, Lucian suddenly screamed and clung to him, shaking.
"WHAT?? DON'T TELL ME YOU HAVE A FUCKING PANIC ATTACK AGAIN!!" Scipion roared in fury, which clearly didn't help.
Instead of answering, Lucian shakily pointed at some old bones. Scipion quickly calmed down and facepalmed, grunting.
"Tssk! Bones are scaring you now?" he mocked, kneeling to study them. His eyes widened eventually.
"Wait... It looks like the remains of a Tyrantrum... And this small hole there... This is...!"
Scipion giggled, holding his hand before bursting into laughter. Lucian let got of him and looked at him, intimidated.
"A-Are you okay?"
"Yeah! Yeah, I'm fine. Ahahaha..." the Zoroark said, wiping out a tear of laughter before sighing.
"What irony! You weren't there, but surely you remember a day when Aaron and you entered a cave before he fell when you were kids, right?"
"Y-Yes... He told me that's where he first encountered you and that you escaped a wild Tyran... A Tyran..." Lucian said before widening his eyes in realization.
"This place... So that's where you first met..."
"Yeah... Ah, it brings back memories to me. Back when I was a frail tiny Zorua, trying to avoid everyone and everything." Scipion sighed.
"Oh? You... You grew up alone?" Lucian asked as he couldn't help himself but get concerned by his captor. Scipion gave a weird look at him and shrugged.
"Well, since you're quite curious about me... I guess I could sum it up for you. There was my "dad", but Giratina is far from being friendly with me, even today. There was "mom" too, but I clearly spent most of my time by myself." he said.
"Oh... A bit like me before I encountered Aaron... I'm sorry."
"For what? I don't need your pity, you know. To be honest, those harsh years shaped me into the villain I am today and I couldn't be more proud of it. Eyahahaha!!" Scipion cackled.
Lair entrance
Susie's empowered Rude Busters were powerful enough to make Onox fall backward. He tried to counterattack with his guitar slams and some Sludge Bombs, but Susie's projectiles were clearly stronger and he started to be weakened.
"I have to admit that this Rude Buster of yours is clearly more efficient than my own shots. Consider me impressed." James complimented as he kept shooting him with Aaron throwing Aura Balls and Alex a Flamethrower at him.
"Grrrr...! I... Can't lose... The boss... I WON'T LOSE!!!" Onox roared in absolute fury. He gathered all of his electricity into one, final punch directed at Susie.
Freddy meanwhile, had to deal with everyone else, giving his mega-state. Noticing that Glimmer was wide opened, he attempted to attack her only for his paralysis to stop him.
"Oh right..." Freddy grunted to himself. It seems being paralyzed prevented him from attacking too much. That was enough for Undyne and Big Mac to hit him with their respective attacks.
Tokage and Arthur assisted the group by combining their power. They warned everyone else to dodge before creating a huge leaf storm at Freddy. Arthur then launched several Razor leaves at the Gengar while Tokage slashed at him with Leaf Blade. Freddy tried to launch a Shadow Ball at the Grovyle, but Nick used Fire Fang and bit him in the back.
Retreating once again, Freddy reappeared, visibly exhausted as well.
"I see you have learned quickly how to fight... But I will not go down so easily!" he exclaimed, as the shadows of everyone else started to shake. He too was preparing one last powerful Night Shade, like he used before against the Delta Warriors at the HQ.

Susie laughs and gives James a thumbs up before charging up one more Electric Buster.
"Just one more blast from this and we'll—"
But Onox Thunder Punches her across the battlefield. Ralsei looks at both Susie and Glimmer and throws a Choco Diamond at the former before eating another for himself. He then goes to the latter and cures her of her paralysis.
"Thanks, Ralsei!" says Glimmer as she gets up. "I hope my next attack hits!"
She channels her magic into her staff and fires Psybeam at Onox. Undyne and Big Mac, meanwhile, give each other a fist/hoofbump after successfully striking Freddy while he's down, then move aside with the others when Tokage and Arthur use Leaf Storm on him.
Everyone cheers when Freddy gets weakened, but shudders when he prepares the same Night Shade he pulled on Ralsei and Susie back at the HQ. Like last time, they both buckle down, but Susie resists the attack. Undyne and Big Mac also resist it but Glimmer collapses from it. She still manages to get up and fire another Psybeam at Freddy.

Arena
(Liesl scarcely starts out before getting challenged by a fellow Pokémon in the Season with her.) Oh, I'm always up for a battle. (She says, feeling like things are relatively normal so far.)
(What's NOT normal is her somehow using Fake-Out without meaning to, flinching her Delphox opponent. Liesl is dumbfounded; she isn't supposed to be able to use that move. She ends up feeling like she cheated as she leaves later.)
(She goes into hiding and finds an abandoned tablet. While idly pawing away at it, trying to figure out what it is and what it does, she ends up pulling up an avatar maker.)
Is THIS how people make pictures in this place? (She wonders out loud. She sees another tribute, Moon-tan sitting nearby and tries to recreate his face in the app. The end result ends up looking like a Picasso painting.)
This is so...so odd...
(Plessie, meanwhile, curiously picks up a bow and arrow set and leaves with them. They don't know if they can actually use them, but the dino figures it would be nice to have anyway.)
(Being from a cartoon-y universe also means Plessie is later able to hide behind a skinny tree from the large, scary-looking dragon no problem.)
Lair (Inside)
(Eye-Sicle is scarcely able to pay complete attention to the current season as he is anxiously awaiting the return of Henry with the Danjor Island spring water.)
(Meanwhile, the season has gotten the attention of a lot of the June duplicates still inside the lair, recognizing Liesl and crowding around the TV inside.)
Hey, do we know them? (One June asks, pointing at the other Zoroark and the other Delphox in the season.)
Fusion? Hey, just like Zekrom and Reshiram and Kyurem! (June says.) I know THEY can do that! Just not me.
(It's then that they notice Billy and other guests arriving. Jared's eyes noticeably go wide when he sees SpongeBob and Patrick and the Jostars.)
Oh, hey! (June greets them.) Uh, sorry 'bout the mess! I cloned myself too many times and we're tryin' to find 'em all. Party should still be goin' on inside, though!
(The two Junes notice Mr. Star's group approaching.)
Thanks, but I think we've got i-WAUGH! (The Junes fall down on top of each other, the garland coming down on top of them.)
Hey, we're trying to get all of you back together. You guys wanna head back to the front? (Wanda asks.)

Lair entrance
After being hit by Glimmer, Onox attempted to charge at her but was quickly stopped by Nick's headbutt, since he dropped his protection. Alex finished him off with a good old Fire Punch in the face.
Meanwhile, Freddy was faster and protected himself from Glimmer's attack by firing a Shadow Ball from his mouth. However, Aaron cut the ball in half with an aura bone before James fired a Hydro Pump at the Gengar's forehead. Freddy couldn't take it anymore and exploded, reverting to his normal form.
Freddy and Onox collapsed on the ground at the same time. The battle was over.
"And another well-earned victory for the Fiery Blue Wings! Though I..." James exclaimed, posing. He stopped smiling proudly when he noticed his partner weren't by his side and frowned at them.
"Oh right..."
"Uuuugh... Not this shit again..." Arthur complained
The two Pokémons went by their leader's side and posed (reluctantly for Arthur).
"As I was saying... Another well-earned victory for the Fiery Blue Wings! Though I have to say you all fought very well."
The team then turned to the defeated Pokémons.
"G...Gehehe... My congratulations... You have successfully defeated me." Freddy weakly laughed, his grin still wide.
"Wait, you're not mad that you lost?" Alex asked, confused.
"Why would I? You have beaten me fair and square. I did what I have to do, and so did you."
"Oh... It's a nice change of pace. Usually, villains are like "Nooo, I can't be beaten I'm invincible!" or like "Bleeh, it's not over, you'll pay for that"! You know, that kind of stuff." Alex chuckled.
"Gehehe... I see what you mean." Freddy laughed back.
"So you aren't going to fight us anymore?"
"For this mission, yes... It's not like me or my partner can do much in that state." Freddy amitted.
"And we have to admit that you two are freaking beasts in battle. We were like what, fourteen against two?" Nick said, smiling. The Gengar humbly lowered his head in response.
"I agree. Well, let's go t-"
"No..."
Everyone turned in shock to see Onox trying to stand up, one of his hands summoning a sludge bomb. His eyes were filled with rage and determination.
"God damn it, do you still want more?" Alex roared angrily. He gasped in surprise when Aaron stopped him in his track.
"He's beaten." he said as Onox launched the ball, only for it to land right in front of him. He fell again, only to try to get up once more.
"I won't... Let you... Get near the boss..." he growled in a hoarse voice.
Aaron gave a sorry look at Onox. Even though he was very weak, Onox was still trying to defeat them, just for Scipion's sake.
"Ralsei? Do you think you can pacify him?"
"You're married like me, you know monstrosity can take many forms."

Eye-sicle's Lair
Billy in turn greets everyone present, then shakes his hand with Yellow when she extends hers. He then responds to her concern, "I do not mind only having a short time to attend this party, even though I have the option to use my biological clone or make a data clone. I always make sure to participate as myself for the Nominator Game anyway."
As the tributes and workers introduce themselves to Eye-sicle's group and allies, as well as other guests in the party, Billy talks again, this time to one of Eye-sicle's companions, "Anyway, can I meet Eye-sicle briefly before the game? I want to have a small talk with him, because I have never seen him in-person, as I was unable to join the Halloween Party few Earth Prime months ago."
After saying this, he gets a notification from his phone. He opens it to see that it's from Libre, so he texts to him, "as I said, there will be a party held by one of my friends after the Third Nominator Game is over. Perhaps we can meet there. Also, I am sorry to hear about that disability. I can offer to fix your voicebox if you like, as our corporation offers medical repairs as one of our many services."
Scipion's Lair Entrance
When the team arrived, Sandy frowned a bit at Alphys' teasing as she said, "hey, you won't underestimate me once you see my karate!"
Tsubakura also looked similarly frustrated at the embarrassment as they said, wait until I found a berry for you to eat." Unbeknownst to Alphys, they plan to find a fermented one or at least do something to normal berry to give it some unintended effects.
The the fighting started. Staring at Freddy, whom the trio had never met before, the group had various reaction to his mega form. Sandy looked both scared and curious, while Tsubakura thought that it would be harder than a normal incident. As for Patchouli, she had a concerned look at the form. The trio then tried to dodge the Shadow Balls, though Patchouli, being the least fit, was thrown sideway while when a ball struck nearby. Sandy quickly got her back up as Freddy started to use Lick. Thankfully, none gets paralyzed by the attack.
The trio then tried to attack Freddy, with Sandy trying to use Bite, while Patchouli launched a Psybeam. Meanwhile, Tsubakura used Air Cutter. Then, Freddy and Onox launched their ultimate attacks. After few minutes of resistance, the trio was in various states by the end. When the battle was over, Sandy and Tsubakura look slightly exhausted with some injuries. The former had managed to resist the ghost type attacks and then tanked Onox's attack. Meanwhile, the latter also resisted Freddy's moves before flying when Onox launched the Shockwave, thus dodging it. Unfortunately, Patchouli's combination of low stamina and her Pokémon form's type weakness has leave her severely injured as she weakly says, "... Please ,... heal me... with a... potion or... berry." Patchouli then collapses and gets knocked out at the moment.
The trio now await for the group's next move, as Sandy says, "does any of you here have berries for revival? We need one for her!".

Alphys closes her frills and runs to the others after the battle.
"I-Is everyone okay?"
"Yes we are!"
"But Patchouli isn't so lucky..." says Glimmer, pointing to the fainted Gothitelle.
"But hey, at least we all had fun!" says Undyne.
"Hell yeah!" adds Susie, while Big Mac feels his defense dropping back to its normal state.
Ralsei approaches Patchouli and feeds her a Revive Mint. After helping her up, he tells her, "I only have one left. Please be careful when we enter the lair, everyone."
Onox, however, isn't done with the teams yet. Aaron tries stopping him and tells Ralsei to try Pacifying him. He approaches the Toxtricity with caution and casts the spell on him, hoping that he's tired enough to surrender.
Eye-Sicle's Lair
"Fine by me," Yellow says to Billy, "and good luck in the Nominator Games!"
She then goes back to Blue and tells her that they should go find the other clones.
Power's Home
Power laughs at Data Gummy trying but failing to feed Frankenstein's monster pierogis by throwing them, but winces when the alligator transforms into a kaiju but gets killed by the equally giant Goro Wajima in the ensuing battle. Not long after, Upgrade-bot attends Gummy's funeral and says that "he lived a warrior and died a hero", and Power tears up when it also acknowledges his sacrifice for Yoshiko.
She then starts packing her things in preparation for her visit to Ichi.
The Arena
Vriska wakes up from her coma after her long, hard battle with the treasure seekers. She grumbles at her sunburned skin and wonders where Earth-chan and Minako went.
"I'll show those pesky humans I mean 8usiness!"
Capone Bege and the Thunderdrum overhear her and dramatically tell her that they died, but they don't tell her that they're actually fine. She looks at them incredulously.
"What?! 8luuuuuuuuh! I should've culled them when I had the chance!!!!!!!!"
She goes out to find them anyway the next day, having second, or rather eighth thoughts about Bege and the Thunderdrum's claims. Suddenly, a Gamemaker runs into her and rants about how infamous she is back in her universe.
"Don't rem8nd me!" she snaps at them before trying to mind control them, but they manage to resist it and kill her in retaliation. Vriska lets out one last "8luh" before collapsing face-down and bleeding out.
The Database Library, Basement
6k1 is also touched by Upgrade-bot's eulogy, but is rather intrigued by Vriska's death. Unlike the last time she was in the Arena, where she was poisoned by Doc Scratch and then blasted away by the Dark Lord, she can resurrect herself after the season, assuming that none of the other tributes do anything to her body first. Since her death was neither Heroic nor Just, the Arena is temporarily suppressing her immortality like with Dry Bones back in S130.
However, 6k1 decides to leave it to Vriska's new nominator on what to do with her after that, for she has other things to do, but at least she has more time to discuss Mimi's problem with her.
"Mimosa... I always knew there was something going on between the two of you..."
6k1 cringes as she continues petting her. How's she going to explain to her about the facts of life when she barely knows anything about Starble mating habits? She tries recalling what she read from those parenting sites and looks Mimi in the eye.
"Adolescence is more than just your hormones changing your body..."

Arena
(Liesl isn't sure how she let the strange Steel-type creature convince her into climbing into a large boat that goes underwater like this. She's never been a fan of getting in the water due to how much it hurts her to be in it for an extended period of time. The few times she would visit June and her family in Foxfell, she would never get in the water while June and the others did and run away whenever anyone tried to splash her.)
(Despite how much her fur and all nine-er, seven of her tails stand up on end as the submarine submerges, she manages to stay inside without clawing at the door and tries to focus on what's going on around her. And...to her surprise, soon enough, she simply finds herself marveling at the foreign underwater creatures outside the window.)
This is...this is actually sort of...FUN... (She mutters to herself.) Why don't we have things like this back home...
(Once she resurfaces and leaves the submarine, she finds her fellow nominee Plessie dressed like they're ready to pilot a spaceship.)
What in the world are you wearing? (Liesl asks, confounded.)
(Oh, I got a costume for the convention CATS is having! You wanna go?) (Plessie asks.)
(Liesl has no idea what that means, but she's feeling so good right now that she decides:) ...You know what? Heck with it, I'll go with you. As long as I don't have to wear a silly costume either, though.
Lair (Inside)
(The Junes spectating the convention inside cheer Liesl on as she gets over her nervousness around water...and react in alarm when Firebrand drops a satellite dish on their fellow Zoroark.) AAH! Hope her nominator revives her afterward!
Yeah, that was just rude!
(Meanwhile, Palkia has been challenged to a drinking contest (using soda pop) by the Pigeon. Being so much bigger than the small bird, Palkia is soundly beating the Pigeon (who now looks like he has a stomachache). Dialga just looks on, embarrassed.)
What a fool thou art making of thyself, Palkia. (Dialga mutters.)
Lair (Outside)
Uh, just so you know, he might not look like his usual self when you go in there. (Jared warns Billy before he heads off.) He kinda had a fight with one of his tributes and they cursed him or something.
"Don't worry, Lucian, we'll make it through this."
Power's Home
Power pauses for a moment and folds her ears.
"Because... I miss being in the Arena... with you. I know it's for my own good, but I'm sure that I can survive my next season without breaking down yet again and literally losing my colors. However, I have like an Earth Prime year to change my mind about this, and if you're sending Android Ichi for S200, then I guess it's only fair that Data Pow-Pow will accompany him for that. And maybe we can just watch them fight from the comforts of your bunker or my home?"
She smiles at him.
The Database Library, Basement
It's okay, I'm sure she's gotten over that by now. But I'd be concerned if she shows up for the Nom Games after this. She only planned to skip this coming Nom Games, but what if the Gamemakers make her suffer all over again? The Simulator might still be incomplete by that time...
Eye-Sicle's Lair
The Pearls follow their group and find the sleeping June clone.
"Okay, we'll sneak up on her and wake her up gently."
"But if she runs away from us, we better catch her!"
"Shh!"
And so they both tiptoe towards the clone.
Green Mountains
"It's okay, Nick," says Glimmer, "we're used to Catra's grumpiness back home, though Adora's more used to it than any of us!"
"And as I said earlier," Undyne says to Alex, "I'll try my best to help them, but I'll focus more on my team for the mission."
Ralsei and Susie stare daggers at each other.
"I know," the latter says to Nick, "but I wanna raid the lair already!"
"But Aaron's right," says the former, "we don't have much time! And mind if I ride on you, Big Mac?"
"Eeyup!"
Ralsei asks Susie to lift him and makes himself comfy on the Mudsdale's saddle, which the Science Center provided Big Mac before his deployment.
"And Alphys?" Susie asks, "can you call Kris for me? I lost my phone this morning, and I'm sure you friended them on UnderNet."
"Sure thing."
The Heliolisk gets her phone and does so. No response.
"I guess their battery died... or Morgan stole their phone."
