"Hey, laddies!" Gunther says, "Sorry about leaving early, I had some... unfinished business."
Gunther takes notice of Cochran and Gerald.

my current job
Gerry takes the soup and sits in a spot in to the corner of the table closest to the back wall. He eats a few spoonfuls of his soup, savoring each one as if it's his last. He silently waves at Gunther and Sarah while he eats.
The possum is a potential perpetrator; he did place possum poo in the plum pot.

(Priscilla crumbles half a pack of saltines into her soup, stirs her soup up, and proceeds to eat it.)

Cochran shakes, a little anxious. Gunther has always creeped Cochran out a bit. Cochran never wanted to be mean or anything, but he couldn't help his heebie jeebies.

I keep forgetting that this business is older than I am! Hehehehuh! Gerry muses out loud. He puts down the spoonful of soup and asks Felix a simple question:
What's the plan? A dinner party? Family outing? A spirited game of "which organs did Gunther lose this week?"

Matthew is petting Rufus with one hand while looking at the others. "Hm. So we have two things to celebrate. All of those suggestions are good. I would suggest going to the zoo, but man, those ticket prices. We don't get employee discounts, either."
