Nominating actor Charles Lane for Creator status

Charles Lane [January 26, 1905 - January 26, 2007]: One of, if not the most memorable CoolOldGuys. A star of movies and TV, a living legend whose career spanned 72 years. Frank Capra remembers him as one of his favorite performers.

Born Charles Gerstle Levison.

He starred in The Road to Singapore as Frank Capra's It's a Wonderful Life as a seemingly hardnosed rent collector for Lionel Potter; a Reasonable Authority Figure who tried to explain to his employer that many of Potter's former tenants were moving out, taking advantage of affordable loans provided by protagonist George Bailey. He also appeared in Mighty Joe Young as one of the reporters cajoling Max O'Hara for information regarding the identity of "Mr. Joseph Young", as billed on the front of the building on opening night.
