The Arena - Jimin's Cottage

Jimin stares listlessly out of the window. As usual, he can't sleep. He'd thought about trying to run another HGS save on the computer, but figured it wasn't worth the additional grief. A small part of him thinks that maybe he should go and check up on V, see if, by some miracle, the death loop had stopped. He quickly decided that that was wishful thinking. V was going to suffer indefinitely. That was just the way it was.

He hears his own voice - "You really should come to accept your true nature, you know."

His... "other self" sits beside him with an unnervingly cheerful smile on his face that doesn't quite match the pure hatred in his eyes. He's been having these visions every night, and at this point they're little more than an annoyance to him.

"I don't want to be a bad guy," the "real" Jimin says monotonously. "I just want to avenge Taehyung."

"Oh, come on, you know that's not true," his counterpart tells him. "Stop trying to restrain yourself so badly. You and I both know full well that that "pure perfect idol" act is a chore to maintain. Remember that song you did? Aren't you sick of this fake love between you and your so-called ARMY?"

"I love ARMY," Jimin says in a heartbeat. "And ARMY loves me."

"But you love Taehyung more. Because that is true love. True love between brothers, between soulmates." The other Jimin inches a little closer towards the real, tangible Jimin, and he swears he can feel a rush of cold air straight through him. "Just let it all go. It's so much better that way."

The real Jimin looks back out the window. He sees a UFO falling, crashing upon a cliffside. Normally, this sight would genuinely upset him. But not today. He's done with being sad.

So he bursts into maniacal laughter, finally losing the last of his self-control.

Psyche's Fanfic School - Principal's Office

It turns out that Billy's gift contains quite an assortment of things. There's an entire haul of chocolate, for one, which pleases Psyche greatly. There is also a lengthy note from Billy, wishing her well and hoping she was okay after being killed in the Cornucopia, and giving her some updates on his situation and Timewrecker's plans.

"A glitch virus..." Psyche murmurs to herself. "Wow, this is some crazy shit."

She then hears President Snow's announcement regarding the money owed, and she audibly groans, knowing that there's no way in hell she can contribute that much money. She makes quite a bit, sure, but she's not exactly rich. (She is hoping that her situation will improve once the Fanfic School receives its first exchange student.)

She goes on to her laptop and types out an email to Ichigo.

"Ugh, can you believe it!? Thanks to Mitama's shenanigans, we all have to pay for the damages! I don't normally wish for tributes' deaths, but uhh... why the hell is she still alive?"

She glances at the television screen, still displaying V's empty vending machine. He's been gone for about ten minutes by now. She frowns, and continues typing.

"Say... you haven't seen V around or anything, have you? He's not in his vending machine anymore."

She hits send and gives her full attention back to the television. Now Jimin is talking to himself. That's not terribly unusual these days. Shortly afterwards, however, he laughs at the UFO accident - and Psyche grins.

This tragic friendship story is panning out great! she thinks to herself happily. All we gotta do now is find V...

Power's Home

Ichigo continues to watch as the season progresses, surprised that among other things, Voldemort had actually used a shotgun to kill Maxwell's Demon hitting him with the Killing Curse.

As he checks his phone and notices Psyche's email, he reads through it before typing up a response.

So Mitama pulls that shit and Evil Santa's making us pay for the damage? Yeah, I'm hoping she goes down soon. Maybe I oughta see about having what she did outlawed from future seasons if it happens again.

Anyway, no, I haven't seen V around. Didn't even know he'd vanished until now. Will let'cha know if anything comes up, though.

After sending the email, he continues to watch the season, wondering if Power would be creating another Pointy or a clone drawn in a different style this time around.

Psyche's Fanfic School - Principal's Office

"Thanks, bro. I'm glad to hear that you're okay, at least. You never know what he could be doing right now, considering all the possible death scenarios..."

The Arena

Night 2: Iyami didn't want to make more stupid mistakes, and had figured out a way to possibly make himself smarter (and more sneaky). It... seems to work? Kind of? Shortly after, Waluigi finds himself walking through a corridor, and is told that his soul is impressive... by none other than Voldemort, something he can't help but find a bit unsettling.

Day 3: Iyami talks about how much he loves the day, only to have Larry Butz respond to him how he wants to not only kill him, but also the day. After the previous day, Waluigi decides to just relax, and joins a luau with a group of other tributes.

Night 3: Waluigi feels like drawing, and decides to draw X in the style of Lackadaisy, as a cat from that comic. He turns out to be a surprisingly good artist too! Meanwhile, Iyami warns Flurry that he won't team up with him, even as Flurry now has Voldemort and the now-broken and crazy Jimin after him.

Day 4: Iyami finds himself in a battle against Landia, and ends up getting hit with a mysterious rainbow. He soon after finds himself being warped into some kind of terrible monster... Later, Waluigi's had a bad day, but says to himself that it could be worse, and at least it's not raining... only for him to get hit by lightning during a thunderstorm.

Det. GC's Base

"...You're kidding... a billion dollars?" Zanreo didn't even want to pay Snow anything in the first place, and now this, because of something she wasn't even responsible for? She didn't have anywhere near that kind of money, anyway... and while she wasn't exactly poor, most of her money went into her own laser-related research and development (and also her hobbies). There was no way she could pay all of that herself... but weren't some of the other nominators really rich? She started thinking about how much she could scrape together herself as she sent a mail to Billy asking for some help.

Not a problem. With any luck, he's likely recuperating from the hell that Mitama put him through. I sure hope he is, anyway.

Noticing that Mitama had finally gotten gotten her just desserts, Ichigo can't help but applaud the Karmic Death. Then he sees that Voldemort and Jimin managed become even more powerful thanks to Mecha!Kyoko.

"Y'know what? I hope so too. Wherever he is, I hope he's doing okay."

She looks up at the television and lets out a loud whoop when she sees Seer kill Mitama personally. Nearby, she can spot Voldemort and Jimin together, powered-up.

"Hey hey hey! She's dead! Hallelujah!"

About goddamn time, too. Let's hope this means things'll start looking up for Jimin.

Power walks back into the living room with her new clone following her.◊

"Ich, this is Paper Stroke. She was inspired by Twilight's form when she entered one of Moondancer's books to talk her out of her reclusiveness.''

"Now that I'm outlined, I'm stronger than my predecessor, but still not as strong as the real deal. I also have all my maker's memories up until this point."

Power then looks at the screen and witnesses Seer taking it out personally on Mitama. She rears up and neighs loudly.

"Ich, please deploy this clone in the school while I install the house's security system." She holds up a painting of a fragment of Chrysalis's old hive. "It's modified so that anyone inside can still use magic, but it has the same anti-teleport function as your devices. And to avoid suspicion, it's painted to look like a chimney."

She calls Miranda over to help her with the installation, and they go upstairs to place it on the rooftop.

The Database Library, Basement

6k1 lets out a triumphant "YES!" as she also watches Mitama get that sweet, sweet karma. The season's still gonna be a wild ride, though...

"Rarity, are you okay? We gotta get you and your friends outta here soon!"

Power's Home

"Heh, right back at it with the Punny Names, I see. Hiya, Paper," Ichigo says with a bemused smirk, wondering if Power actually had a list of names for any potential clones she might have to create, or if she just came up with them on the fly. "Alright, let's get her to work."

He leads Paper outside of the house before making a call to his bunker.

"Okay, Pointy's replacement is up and ready to start teaching. Send her to the school, would ya?"

"Right away, sir! Just need a moment..."

Once the droid currently operating the teleporter locks onto her position, Paper is soon warped into the art school. Ichigo, meanwhile, looks at the house's rooftop as Power and Miranda set up the former's security system.

Back in the Base

Aku came back to the base, with Yellow Diamond's gem. He was greeted by Bill Cipher, Black Hat and Grogar.

Black Hat:    Welcome back, Aku.   

Grogar:    Luckily you didn't take too much time.   

Bill Cipher:    C'mon, show us what you got.   

Aku then put Yellow Diamond's gem, which he kept from reforming by covering it with his dark essence.

Aku:    Alright I'm asking this only once, what are we using this gem for?   

Bill:    Great. Let me explain, we recently found out that heroes are coming to get us, so we'll throw a big opponent that can account for all their strengths and weaknesses. Once we send it, it'll destroy them and allow our plans to go smoothly.   

Grogar:    Bill came up with the name of "The Grand Final Boss", which is corny and stupid, but none of us had a better name for it.   

Black Hat:    We'll all put some of our power on it, to make it work.   

Bill:    We only need one thing to fully make it work, but Lucemon and his group have it, and they're allied with Thanos, so we can't let them know without careful wording, lest .   

Grogar:    Let me do the talking, I'll make sure nothing slips by.   

An Unholy Breakup

They didn't know that a robot was spying on them. It was one of Boxman's spy drones.

Boxman: Well, this is interesting, I haven't seen Thanos, but I can warn him of this, he'll probably interfere to stop the Convergence.

Venomous: But why stop it? When this is the perfect chance to create a Multiverse of Evil?

Boxman was unnerved by his boyfriend's interest in the Convergence Plan.

Boxman: Because this plan is crazy! It's not a villainous plan, it's the plan of a monster. And I am no monster.

Venomous: You have got to be kidding me, Box, all these years of vanquishing heroes and you're still a softie.

Boxman: No! It's just that I prefer the regular back-and-forth villainy, y'know? Not destroying everything and everyone that stands in our path villainy...

Venomous: If that's what you're thinking then you can get lost.

Boxman: Venny, please, listen to me. We have had a perfectly good relationship in the last months, but i'll have to end our partnership now and forever. I'll go back to Boxmore and make sure you're kicked out of it.

Venomous: Oh, cute, wanna know something, Boxy. I am Boxmore's owner, or more specifically, shareholder of 70% of it's resources, so you are the one who's getting kicked out, of MY company. And now if you excuse me, I've got a few loose ends to tie up in our world, and a TKO to add to my side as my evil heir to a reign of evil. Now begone Boxman, you are dismissed, officially and forever.

Boxman began crying at what he was told and ran off to fetch the portal machine to the OKKO Universe.

Boxman: Fine, if you really are picking destruction over my love, it's fine, take it all, I guess I was just one more pawn for you, just like POINT and Carol before, I should've known this was coming. Goodbye, Professor Venomous, forever!

He then started up the machine and fled back to his world to pack his things and warn anyone he could of the incoming danger. Grogar's Legion saw the incident from afar, worried that they might not have a chance of getting out of this mess or even saving anyone they cared somewhat for.

Inner Thoughts

Chrysalis began thinking of what her fellow villains were doing in Valecor's base, as well as thoughts of getting her revenge on Starlight and becoming Equestria's Supreme Empress.

Chrysalis: Such blissful thoughts, and yet I am stuck here in this cheap knockoff scary place. I do hope Valecor won't take much time with whatever we came here for.

She then followed Valecor to see what he was up to.

The Billion Dollar Scheme

Bale saw the needed money that Snow demanded and slightly panicked.

Bale: I don't have that much money, I'm broke as hell, guess I gotta start looking up jobs now.

He then pulled out a tablet and began looking up jobs.

"Bingo! If two species hate each other, they will wipe each other out on their own."

The BTS Boys' Apartment

The living room is filled with discomfort and tension. RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jin and Jungkook are still watching the season proceed, keeping their eyes on Jimin in particular. Even though V's fate in the beginning remains a shock to them all, they are surprised and horrified when Jimin finally dives off the deep end and embraces his evil nature.

"I don't think he's ever gonna be the same again..." RM murmurs quietly.

No one mentions the fact that Jin and J-Hope haven't been the same since their own tenures in the game - or any of them, for that matter, besides perhaps Suga. J-Hope's blindness was never cured after he was revived, and his lack of vision is a permanent reminder of the hell he'd gone through. He doesn't see Jimin, dressed in Death Eater robes and looking at almost everyone with utmost hatred, but he hears the way he cackles maniacally, and he knows that, at this point, the Park Jimin they all knew and loved was dead.

"We need to put a stop to this," says RM.

"How?" Jin asks uncertainly.

"ARMY. ARMY can stop this."

Psyche's Fanfic School - Principal's Office

"So, how are we going to sort out this money situation?" Ms. May asks. "We do have quite a lot of money, but nowhere near enough to pay."

"I guess I could ask my brother," Psyche responds. She turns to her laptop again and begins typing.

"Same here. Um, sorry to be a pain, but do you happen to have any money you could lend me to pay those six billion dollars? Or do you at least know anyone who's really well-off, financially?"

The Arena

Jimin smiles, satisfied. He wasn't the one to kill Mitama, in the end, but he had to say that the fate she got was truly the one she deserved. He's surprised that her own nominator went out of their way to kill her personally, but he really doesn't mind.

Well, I am gonna see if my droids can mine enough gems and gold for me to pay my due. If I manage to get enough for us to split, I'll send you your half ASAP.

Det. GC's Base

After seeing Snow's announcement the detective looks to the others.

Believe it or not but I'm actually not too rich myself, I'm more along the lines of middle class. A bunch of the expensive stuff I have I got as favors for the various good deeds I've done, and the tech that seems expensive to you actually isn't as in the future world I came from, the tech is advanced enough that what was once expensive to make is now cheap. So I'll let one of you guys cover Snow's bill.

The detective goes to his personal library for a few moments and comes back with a large stack of books.

Here's a bunch of reading material that could be of use to you against this new enemy of ours.

He picks up the top book, which is titled "How to Take Over a World"

If Timewrecker is really resourceful enough to take us on, then I'm assuming he must have at least a few planets under his control. Liberating an oppressed planet is the same thing as conquering it right? Who knows, it may be fun!

SimpleSeer’s Base (Hunger Games Viewing Area)

Standing, shocked and a bit scared, in front of the now dead Mitama, in the comfort of his viewing area no less, he began to think about what led up to this

When he decided to nominate Mitama and Amaterasu, he thought that it would just be an ordinary season with nothing too special happening.

He did not expect that Mitama would quickly become outright infamous in the span of a day, which meant that she quickly shot up into being one of his favourite tributes and wanted to see what she would do.

Making her one of his favourite tributes however, might have been a bad idea as Mitama tried to attack him and, due to her potential power, forced him to kill her fast before she killed him. That and he was slightly annoyed about the bills he had to pay because of her actions.

“I’m sorry it had to end this way. You were entertaining, but trying to kill me was taking it a bit too far. But, if it’s any consolation, i’ll save you from your newly found bloodlust”

As he said this, he spoke into the mic in front of the screens which displayed the chaos of the ongoing game

“Requesting the presence of Anubis and Gaia in the HGVA. Now.”

Power sets the painting on the rooftop. She stands back and fires her silver magic at it, slowly pulling the fragment out. Halfway there, Miranda fires her gold magic to help get it out of the canvas. They both set it down on the rooftop and affix it with even more magic. They both wipe their foreheads once they're done.

They both see Ichi watching them outside and wave to him as they go back to the living room.

"Is there anything that you want for snacks, Ichigo?" asks Miranda. "Of course, I'm making Pow-Pow's favorite!"

"Not in front of him, please!"

Power's Art School

Paper is warped into the teacher's lounge and sees that Pointy's crystal ball was destroyed. She quickly draws up a new one. She also finds out that the Invisibility Cloak didn't suffer any damage and keeps it.

She goes to the classroom, introduces herself to the droids, and goes back to work. Hiring Mike will have to be put on hold in light of her predecessor missing out on his performance...

After following them back inside, Ichigo can't help but snort at Miranda's Embarrassing Nickname for Power.

Miranda chuckles, much to her niece's chagrin. "Alright, I'll just be in the kitchen."

Power just continues watching the Games while waiting. She wonders what will happen next, now that Mitama's dead...

"Rarity, are you okay? We gotta get you and your friends outta here soon!"

Nodding to Miranda, Ichigo's attention shifts to the Games in time for him to see Voldemort securing the most kills for this season via a well-placed Bombarda Maxima spell during the Feast.

He then takes out his phone, orders several of his droids to head out and begin the mining operation, and hopes that they manage to gather enough for him and Psyche to pay off Snow's ludicrous fine.

Power's Home

Power, on the other hoof, is just stunned by Jimin's madness.

"I just realized... will I also have to pay the bills? Miranda may be rich, but she's not Filthy Rich. It was not just her who helped fund my school, but my entire family..."

SimpleSeer’s Base (Hunger Games Viewing Area)

Not even half an hour passed and Anubis arrived at the scene with Gaia nowhere to be seen.

Anubis: So, what do you request of me mortal?

Seer: Okay, here’s how it goes. I fear that, even if Mitama over here were to be revived, her bloodlust would not go away and basically be a part of her character.

He says, as he points to the corpse still in the room

Anubis: What! What is this about?! And what do you mean she became bloodthirsty?

Seer: Ooookay, that would take a while to explain but all you need to know is that i want you to use your staff to get rid of the bloodlust.

Anubis: Hmmph, that’s what you ask for. Very well, but you’ll explain everything to me once i do. Will you?

Seer: Yes yes, i will and, hold on for a moment.

He noticed that Gaia wasn’t around yet. Wanting to find an answer, he spoke to the cats of the base once again

Cat: Oh, her? Well, since you didn’t officially recruit her, it’s going to take a while before she gets here.

Seer: Huh. Also, i forgot to tell you this but, can you call Balrog in here as well?

Cat: Sure! Just wait for a moment.

Seer: Alright, thanks.

After that, he notices that the game has begun broadcasting its events once again.

Seer: Oh, it’s the game, let’s just watch this to pass the time!

Anubis: Hmmm? What is this that you’re watching? Is it related to Mitama in a way?

Seer: Yes, it is, but again, i’ll tell you later but the game over here is the Hunger Games, where people, called tributes, enter and everyone has to survive until only one tribute survives.

Anubis: The Hunger Games, hmmph, what a foolish idea for a game. Let me see just how bad this “game” truly is

And so the two in the HGVA decided to watch some Hunger Games broadcasts to pass time because, really, they didn’t have anything better to do for today.

Miranda then comes back and arranges the snacks on the table with Power's and Ichi's orders, popcorn, water, juice, soda, and also Top Cake for dessert.

"How did you know the cake recipe?" Power asks her aunt.

"I did some research about your goat friend's home universe after you told me about him!"

NOV-4 stares, in curiosity, at its creator. They've gone and flipped the coffee table...for the third time this week. In another situation, maybe it would've been more understandable. But getting this angry about any old set of tributes? Practically unheard of. At least, coming from Zorua.

The robot decides to test its luck with them this time.

Has anything happened?

And what does it look like? The nominator turns to glare. First Mii Sans, then Bell just now...

Is it the upcoming Death Battle upsetting you? You seem to be forgetting that we have the 2 billion people comprising the population of Derping. Perhaps the bullet shot through your skull during the Troper Games caused more damage than I originally presumed—

For someone who isn't supposed to understand sarcasm, you sure have a fucking mouth on you.

They walk over to the mounted HGS screens again, gesturing melodramatically. What a trainwreck! An all-time-low! We don't even have a full team! They then frown, giving a more serious expression. No, of course it isn't that.

NOV-4 pauses. Was it the "incident" that happened earlier this season, then?

Zorua doesn't answer as they zoom the camera in on a certain tribute-turned-supervillain.
