It depends. I generally hate loud noises, but some people (like Sr. Pelo) can make it funny.

Check out this fancast I made! Any votes would be greatly appreciated!Whispering makes me paranoid that they're whispering about me.
Stupid doomed timeline...I'd much rather hear shouting. I'm hard of hearing, I wear hearing aids. If someone's shouting, I can turn the hearing aids down. If someone's whispering, I can turn them up...but then I get amplified wind noise, the sounds of people who aren't whispering, and all kinds of extraneous crap.
Depends on how loud they're shouting, or how quietly they're whispering. If it's too quiet, it might make me wonder what the whisperer is whispering about, which generally isn't my business. If it's too loud, then OW MY FREAKING EARS.
Both are annoying, but on the whole, I'd prefer whispering to shouting. I know quite a few people who have No Indoor Voice and don't realize that their loud talking is disruptive to everyone around them.
There's one in every workplace and social circle. If you think yours doesn't have one, then you're probably the guilty party and don't know it.
This Space Intentionally Left Blank.I'm not sure I could bring myself to shout at you. :) ^_^;;
I have a bit of a problem with it myself, though. It feels like whenever I talk to people, my voice is either too soft or too loud. >.<
Princess Aurora is underrated, pass it on.I've noticed that when I am around people who can't hear well or don't speak very good English that I just find myself enunciating things very clearly rather than shouting. Like I speak slowly and clearly as I can to help people understand what I am saying.
I suppose at least it works for people who can read lips?
Stupid doomed timeline...Shouting tends to bother me more than whispering, but loud noises in general put me on edge.
pearlina brainrot affects millions of people worldwide. if you or a loved one are suffering from pearlina brainrot, call 1-800-GAY-NERDSI don't like shouting because I suffer from PTSD. When I was little, my parents used to argue and fight all the time. Almost every evening, Mom and Dad would have their nightly shouting match, yelling and screaming at each other at the top of their lungs, both of them convinced that sheer volume could overcome their lack of mutual understanding. Meanwhile, I would be upstairs in my room, cowering in terror as I listened to this recurring conflict...
By comparison, mumbling and whispering are only mildly inconvenient, and not at all stressful.
This Space Intentionally Left Blank.I think I can relate to that, now that you've said it.
Which do you prefer,and which can't you stand?
Personally I don't mind loud people but whispering annoys me
