ITT: We Are All Pirates

"ROOM FOR ONE MORE?" Says the bartender.

"You're right. We'd best skedaddle." She turns to the rest of the crew. "Gang! We move out! I already have a boat ready!" She says, moving out of the tavern... and immediately bumping into the hooded figure. "Oh jeez, sorry."

"This is so cool! I've always wanted to cross the sea without fear of being ripped apart by sharks or orcas at any moment."

"It's fine."

The hooded figure- a girl, judging by her voice and what you can see of her face- replies.

"You're journeying across the sea? Please take me with you. I can be of use but I need to not be here any longer.."

"..." This whole thing was Suspicion Central. But who cares, new member! "Alright, everyone, and new hood girl! Follow me!" She cheers, running out of the tavern happily.

The strange-garbbed pirate sees that everyone is getting ready to leave.

Monocle Pirate: C'mon, Klamptrap, let's follow where these folks are going. Who knows, you might get to add more treasure to yourself!

The treasure chest lifts his skeleton key up, which splits apart into fingers as the key doubles as his hand. He salutes his master.

Klamptrap:   Aye aye, Doctor!   

Klamptrap reels in his left arm all the way so that the cannon ball is locked into his side, then follows the "Doctor" to the exit, his wheels making an annoying squeaking sound.

We'll give them a head start. (Mona tells her crew.) We still need to discuss our next move anyway.

The girl pads behind them on bare feet. Looking back at her, she's not very tall - she's only about 5'2".

The patron follows, eyeing the other crew suspiciously. He turned to the boat they were heading towards. ‘I wonder where this will take me?’ He thought to himself. Last time he was on a pirate ship, things went... less than well.

"So, uh, where's the ship?" Boreas asks, looking around in every direction except towards the sea.

Oh no, my character is becoming too much like the real me. :P

"Right over there!" Saltine cheers, pointing at the line of giant, beautiful, impressive ships.

"... Oh jeez, those things are in the way."

Juuuuuuuuuust peeking from the back of all of them is a tiny little thing of a boat. Not exactly a simple raft, but far from magnificence A cute little thing, Looks to be two stories (is that a phrase for boats?) and nothing more.

"Doctor" gazes at the rather small boat.

"Doctor" '''Well this is better than my current boat, which isn't that hard to top anyways.

The treasure chest blinks as he stares at the boat before sighing.

Klamptrap:   Yeah, hopefully we'll find enough wealth on whatever adventure these pirates are going on to build that dream ship of yours that can move underwater.   

"It's better than having to swim... it will suffice."

I am here to loot the New World Order and its ships of my treasure! They tax us to death and keep thy riches and give us scurvy with their demonic magic!

"A new person?" says Boreas. "Well, the more the merrier. But will we all be able to fit on the ship?"

(Mona and her crew leave the restaurant and begin heading to their own ship. Theirs is a modestly sized ship the other direction up the docks from Saltine's smaller boat.)

Bandy follows and starts talking in sign language

Bandy: In Sign Language I-C-A-N-N-O-T-W-A-I-T

“Putting everyone on the ship may be a concern.” The patron says. “Especially with a growing crew.” He turns to Saltine. “Perhaps we... commandeer another vessel. We are all pirates, after all.”

"Ahhhhh, shush shush!" Saltine says to the patron. "We got just enough room. A good pirate never takes another person's property, I learned that long ago!" She jumps on her boat with a goofy cheer. "Get on!"

Boreas moves up onto the ship while quietly singing "Professional Pirate" to himself.

Let's just assume he moves around via Tailfin Walking.

"I have to admit, this is pretty exciting! Hey, ho, ho, it's one for all for one. And we'll share-and-share-alike with you and love you like a son..."

(As Mona's crew climbs aboard their boat, the "Heron", and prepares to set sail, Skagway and Charlotte look on at Saltine's band moving toward their small boat.)

Think we'll see them again, Cap? (He asks Mona.)

I have a feeling we will. For all we know, we could bump into them as we're moving out of harbor. (Mona says.) But that isn't important now. C'mon, everyone. Chop chop. We're losing daylight here. Charlotte? What are you staring at? Go take up supplies, and don't eat anything while you're doing it.

Aye! (Charlotte nods, going below deck. The rest of the crew gets ready.)

At some point, a ghost had floated into the ship and was below the deck.

The patron shrugs. The crew would fit, though it would be compact. He walks with the crew, over to their vessel.

“I don’t take up much space anyway...”

She climbs onto the ship.

The "Doctor" and Klamptrap moved to their current boat, a small sailboat with just a deck and a small cabin that looks like it seen better days. They got on the ship and gathered what few belongings were on it. Then they turned their attention to a small and rusty mortar cannon that's the ship's only method of defense.

"Doctor:" It wasn't easy getting this thing here in the first place, we may need the help of the other pirates to transfer it to the new ship.

Klamptrap:   Does it still work? It has been a while since you last used it...   

"Doctor" Yeah, probably best to test it out after we move it.
