Tropers: The Series

"Zan might dance with you Taco...Hmm, where's Puma and Maurice? I thought they'd be back by now.."

"All around me are familiar faces... I'm not gonna go any further."

"I guess I am? Then again, Zan might be a better choice."

"Pssst." She lightly nudges Bob's shoulder, winking at him.

Puma is walking through the hallway, dejected. "I can't believe I lost my mime friend..."

Suddenly, Puma realizes that someone is speaking to him in mime and looks up. Standing there before him is Maurice... in a black-and-white striped dress.

"Oh, hey, Maurice," Puma laughs awkwardly. "I guess you, uh, have Taco's fashion taste, huh?"

Maurice facepalms and then makes some quick gestures.

"Oh, I'm sorry! What's your name again? ...oh, Maria. That's kind of a weird name for a- oh my gosh."

Puma buries his face in his hands. "Maria, I am so sorry. I honestly couldn't tell the difference. I mean, it's hard to tell whether you particular mimes are even human. Oh gosh, that sounds worse. I know that sounds horrible. I swear I'm not trying to insult you. Oh man, please understand, I swear I just wanted to-"

Maria lifts Puma's head up with a finger under his chin. She smiles and clasps her hands.

"You... you mean it? After making such a stupid mistake?"

Maria nods and takes his hand, and they finally enter the room where the tropers are dancing, together.

"This is Maria! Who, uh, whose name I misinterpreted as 'Maurice.' Names are some of the hardest things to translate from mime, actually, it's an unusual language in that regard..."

"...But, I think we've finally made up. We're both happy now, aren't we, Maria?" Maria nods and pats Puma's head.

Tropes kisses Aveyond on the forehead.

"Thank you for this. So much."

"Dancing? Alright, guess I'll give it a try... oh, hey Puma!"

"...Ah, I see" she says after listening to Puma's explanation.

Tropes looks at Puma and Maria and smiles.

"I'm glad you two got a happy ending as well."

He embraces Aveyond.

"So, uhhh... Are y'all dating now?"

"I guess we are.."

Aveyond blushes and seeps deeper into the embrace

"Puma, Zanreo..." Taco puts his arms out, "Dance with me, friends."

"HECK YEAH!"
(...exclaimed Chey as she hugged Ford tightly.)
"HHRRGH! Chey, you're crushing me!"
(Cue canned laughter.)

"C'mon! Let's go and join them!" She says, pulling Bob with her to dance.

"Sure! Let's dance" Zanreo says as she goes over to Taco.

"If I must."

A muffled conversation is heard from somewhere.

"How much do you want to bet they get together?"

"None, because this joke is overused."

"I'm just going to pretend you said 10 dollars."

The Tropers dance the night away...at least until Aveyond was in pain once more. And had stayed the night until she was fit to go home. 'Shelter' fades out to the normal theme playing out

Episode 9: Reckless Driving Causes Friendships

The sound of an engine rumbles through the streets of a forest at night, showing a car driving down a street. The forest seems to go on for miles, with the only light source being the headlights of other cars, street lamps, or the headlights of their own.

"Hand of blood! I don't want to feel, my heart is breaking...Hand of blood! I don't want to see, my life is burning..."

Four, being in charge of driving, is trying her damnest to not give in to her own childish temptation of suddenly reaching for the handbrake (which she calls the "drift handle"). One of her eyes is twitching visibly.

Aveyond sits in the back with the others

"So where exactly are we going, Four?"

"Oh...we're going home. Just a couple of miles to go..." Despite her tone being oddly quiet, you could tell she was holding back to do something. "Just fifty more miles to go...yup...fifty miles of slow driving..." she said through gritted teeth. Her grip digs into the steering wheel tightly.

"Um...are you okay?"

"No, no, I'm totally fine..." VROOOOM.... she caused the car to rev loudly for a moment.

"Four, please don't speed! I don't think any of us wants to end up in either the hospital or the morgue."
