YouTube ads for videos 15 seconds or less. If I have to watch an ad for one of those videos, recently I've started to just close the tab and do something else with my time.
If nothing else, they should at least replace video ads for short videos with picture ads that can be easily closed.
"Pardon me, you dropped your handkerchief!"Those trailers on YouTube where they begin with "you're about to watch this trailer" before the actual trailer starts.

Oh, I believe in yesterdayI have seen that too many times.
On that note, people making counter-arguments when it’s clear they won’t be able to change the other people’s minds. I have seen this too many times and it ends with people killing their reputation.

I would ban playing "Dance Monkey" on the radio. The artist wrote the song to complain about people treating her as a monkey who only exists to entertain... and now she's a One-Hit Wonder who presumably gets pestered a lot about performing her one hit. Also, it's an annoying song.
I would also ban using you in the second-person singular. Bring back thou!
Saying stuff like "It's just a show" or "It's just a kid's game" to try and deflect criticisms of any works that the speaker likes. Works of fiction can have a big impact on people, so to play the "it's just a show" card only when someone criticizes it is such a cheap move.
Good point.

"Pardon me, you dropped your handkerchief!"I agree, but I also hate the opposite, where people are overly-critical and expect things of works that aren't fair to expect. Like expecting an over-the-top action film that has advertised itself as an over-the-top action film to have a deep, complex plot with fantastic characters and development. Not that someone can't criticise the plot or characters of those films, or that someone can't be put off by films that lack complex plots and characters, or that all over-the-top action films don't have those things, but you should bare in mind what the film sets out to do, whether you'd be a fan of that thing it's setting out to do, and whether it succeeds at that. And if you do want to criticise something that isn't from a genre you like, at least say that and explain that you know that you aren't the target audience.
But yes, I do agree that the people who also dismiss criticism because a work it is for kids or just a film/show is just as bad.

People who keep getting a game at least two weeks before launch and spoiling the game's biggest twists online, especially to unwitting people who try to avoid those.
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.Be that so, I do think some people tend to set too much store by their preferred hobbies and entertainment media; if it does impact some people as you say, people still need to take stock of how much it matters in the grand scheme of things.
Especially when it leads to overly-entitled fans thinking everything about a work has to go their way, as if they actually own the copyright. There's a fine line between legitimate space for criticism and thinking what you don't like is the end of the world.
Which, needless to say, is banworthy too...
By a similar token, videos on You Tube that show spoilers (especially for new works, but works in general really) in the thumbnail.
I would ban those car window stickers that show anime characters Flipping the Bird, especially when it's being done by a character for whom such an action would be considered unthinkable. Yes, Internet/popular culture, we get it already. Being antisocial is more important than breathing. Can we please just drop it, preferably forever?

I would ban the “Authority Always Wins” song. I find it very depressing, especially when you’re working at a job you don’t like.
