Have you encountered the Heater of Worlds before?

An eyeball with weird plated armor and no grasp on reality. Curses are like that. Turns out trying to help someone defeat your evil overlord boss goes really badly if you get found out by said evil overlord boss. Those guys even got fed to a worm of some sort, so I didn't manage to do anything there.

At least Dokuro wrote me two songs about it.

It's just fine. Having to keep order in and around the village is sometimes stressful, and the situation I am currently in as chief is...difficult, to say the least, but overall, being chief over Scale Cove is a surprisingly satisfying job when there's nothing difficult going on.

well, not being insane, for one... although is that the right word? I knew exactly what was happening, but I couldn't do anything to stop it. Yes, I did the one really bad thing with the ocean on my own, but Yharim's curse kind of took over after I tried betraying him. Once you realize how evil he actually is, he'll make sure you're not a threat. Just... don't get near him. Stay safe while I go try refilling the ocean.

I'm not really sure if restoring the western ocean is relatable, but I think making up for all the evil shit I did is. Just because I wasn't in control doesn't mean it wasn't me, and I'm not going to make excuses.

A solid 8, I'd say. Not to applaud myself, but the village has been in the best shape it's been in several years. It's not perfect, of course, but what community or village is 100% perfect?

It's at... ten percent full, I'd say? I've been stealing water from this guy named Leviathan, not to be confused with that other Leviathan who lives in the abyss with everyone's favorite elemental waifu. He doesn't seem to mind. I let him kill me no hit once. Still, I don't have quite enough buckets, so I've been selling random crap I get off the other bosses. Then I can buy buckets from an ambiguous donor, steal Levi's water, put it back into the ocean, and poof. Everything's fine.

Oh, boy. Get ready for a very long story.

Originally, no. Then everyone I ever knew died and some golden-armored guy named Yharim tried to take care of me. I really should not have trusted him, but he was the only person who was both not dead and hadn't tried to murder me, so I guess it kind of makes sense. Anyway, he told me to do a whole bunch of stuff or else. Or else what, I never figured out, but I kind of imagined I didn't want to. Yes, I did evil stuff under him, and yes, I've been trying to fix it.

So one day, I found out he was trying to clone me just in case I ever betrayed him. And then I realized that maybe he wasn't the nicest person and was just using me for whatever the hell he felt like (including burning hell a few times). So I did the logical thing and helped some guys try to kill him.

In exchange for my trouble, I got turned into a horrific eyeball creature and trapped inside the body of something that did... way more evil than I ever did, even under Yharim. Also those guys got fed to a worm. I've got the worm's drops in my store if you want them, but the heroes are long dead. So now I have an eyeball creature's misdeeds to fix as well as my own. Wonderful.

Some guy came along, shattered whatever thing kept the eye intact, and finally freed me from that soul-prison. I moved into his town, started selling him stuff, and tried to make up for what I had done for the jungle tyrant. I've been refilling the ocean, freeing the souls trapped inside Polterghast, and recruiting the mech bosses for their original purpose rather than Draedon's weird destruction fetish. It'll take a while, but I think it's worth it.

So no, I'm not evil anymore.

I never met Sectonia myself, but Dedede and Kirby told me about her, apparently she looked like an irredeemable monster but was actually a victim of the dimensional mirror, corrupted by Dark Meta Knight, luckilly Dedede smashed that cursed artifact into pieces before worse could come out of it, I did met Taranza during the whole "Jambastion" mess, he apparently was atoning for his sins and crimes

Meta Knight told me about both, and I really feel bad for Taranza, I too lost a loved one to an evil force beyond my control, my mom, and she killed my father and almost everything that I cared about, I really hope Sectonia's at peace now
