All right, I have also written up a signup for Siren's arch nemesis, the dark sorceress trying to obtain the pearl for herself: Tethystra.

  • Identity: The Dark Sorceress, Tethystra, villain, sees no point in keeping herself hidden
  • Powers & Abilities:
    • Tethystra is a powerful sorceress, able to weave together magical spells, mostly implemented via her potent knowledge of dark alchemy. Her own creations, the Fishmen, were simple fish transformed by this black alchemy into a sickening cross between man and fish, for the purposes of operating on the surface. She can also create potions for any number of different results— transformation, seduction, poison, sleep, manipulating emotions, and even for battle purposes like strength, healing and speed. She cannot brew potions in the heat of battle, though, and must prepare her alchemical concoctions ahead of time. The more powerful her potions, the rarer and more valuable the ingredients and the longer it takes to prepare them.
    • As a mermaid, Tethystra can shift her tail to a pair of legs to walk on land. Her beautiful voice can control the weak minded, and she especially loves to do this to powerful, heroic men, in an attempt to bring them to the side of darkness. Her voice can also control water and create shockwaves, much like Siren.
  • Description: Tethystra on the right, with a Fishman on the left
  • Personality:
    • Tethystra is vain and haughty. She shows little regard for the lives of others, especially surface dwellers. All she is concerned about is gaining more power and influence, as well as obtaining the things she desires. She is not above flirting with others in order to manipulate them into doing things for her, using them until they become useless, then tossing them aside. She is ruthless and unconcerned with the safety of her servants, punishing them harshly for failure, as she can easily create more and needs not waste her time on incompetent minions. She seeks nothing less than dominion over the entire ocean, and once she has completed this, dominion over the surface world as well.
    • Tethystra is sadistic as well as power-hungry. She enjoys watching those she dislikes suffering, and gains great satisfaction from turning best friends into enemies and turning loved once against one another. She is as hedonistic as she is sadistic, enjoying fine food, the company of men (usually men spellbound to adore her), and jewelry. She will often send her Fishman minions to (as well as retrieve potion ingredients) obtain pleasurable items like gold and jewels to satisfy her greed, as well as kidnap handsome men to charm.
    • Tethystra sees little reason to get involved in combat herself, preferring to send her Fishman minions in her stead to fight on her behalf. If push comes to shove, she will fight, though she will always attempt to exploit her opponent's weaknesses and she will not fight fairly, attempting to create situations that make it difficult for her enemy to fight. If the fight goes extremely poorly, she will use one of her potions (usually a potion of speed or invisibility that she keeps handy) to try and escape.
  • Background:
    • Tethystra was born into a highly noble and decadent house in the western provinces of the mermaid kingdom. From a young age, Tethystra has always been a disturbing individual. She has never shown any regard for anyone else but herself. A narcissistic psychopath even early on, she arranged the deaths of her own parents to inherit the wealth and power of her house. Discovering her talents for dark magics, she honed her skills and her proficiency with dark alchemy in order to work her way up the ranks, using or destroying those who stood in her way. A sorceress of light attempted to stop her, but in a fight against her, the light sorceress was trapped in a pearl, presumed dead by Tethystra as she proceeded to have her servants conquer the light sorceress' home kingdom. When Tethystra found out the sorceress of light was alive, she made it a goal to kill the sorceress' current host (Tina Thompson), as well as obtain the power of the sorceress' pearl for herself. If she is able to do this she may become unstoppable.
  • Minions:
    • Tethystra's preferred servants are individuals who are spellbound to serve her. When she cannot access her ensorcelled minions, she sends out the Fishmen. Fishmen are fish that were transformed into a mostly-human state by a magical potion. The potion increases the Fishman's intelligence (though not by much), and makes them much stronger and with more endurance than a human. The majority of Fishmen follow Tethystra's orders without question, mostly because they know the horrific punishment for failure or insubordination.
  • Potions:
    • Tethystra is currently carrying: a few potions of invisibility, a potion of speed, a few potions of smoke (all for quick escapes), one more potion of mental poison (to make people more susceptible to her charms), and a potion of love (to seduce unwitting heroes).

Nice!

I'm gonna be playing Siren for right now, if you want to use Tethystra or the Fishmen at some point when I'm not using them go right ahead.

I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.

I don't remember if I posted in this thread before, but, whatever.

So we can have multiple characters sort of involved in the roleplay, but we can't play them simultaneously. Can we have something akin to a Dynamic Duo but in the sense that one is just more of a support for the other, and the pair could be switched out between one another if necessary? Also, I'm a bit confused on Concepts. Those are just general things inside the world that we can come up with, right? Is there a sort of limit as to what we can make a concept, or can we go nuts?

Yes, you can have multiple related characters, even an entire team- but only control one at a time. And a Concept can be anything that helps with World Building. Just make sure it isn't covered by something else already.

Spyguy: Approved!

So when you say we can only control one at a time, would it be okay to have one character be something akin to a Voice with an Internet Connection or would that still be considered playing a second character?

I think that can work. Just make it clear that one of the characters is in in charge.

Okay, and one last thing about making a Concept: are we allowed to, say, come up with a collection of powerful things due to an applied character possessing one of those things, or is it purely for world building?

Characters can be tied to Concepts (and in fact, many are- many heroes and villains are actually Avatars of the Literary Titans, for example.) Pretty much anything goes. Just be original. Also to qualify for its own entry, a Concept must be developed well and approved in the Discussion Thread (one post per concept please.)

Well here we go. Gonna scrap one Concept I had in mind because honestly it probably only made sense to me. Also, hope you don't mind if I add in an Equipment section to the application.

  • Identity: Frankie Wild, Antihero, Public Safety Specialist (or "SUD's Lapdog" as he says), public identity (sort of)
  • Powers & Abilities:
    • Pain Immunity: Near complete immunity to pain a normal person might feel, though things that would induce a lot of pain would manage to breach the immunity. Of course, crippling effects - broken limbs, bruised vocal cords, head trauma - still affect him.
    • Epinephrine-Induced Combat Enhancement: EICE (pronounced "ice"), aka "Everyone Is Completely Eviscerated syndrome" by yours truly, is a very special genetic code found withing Frankie. Triggered when Frankie feels intense anger, stress, or any other emotion that could released Epinephrine, EICE causes Frankie to essentially Hulk Out without the sudden change in appearance or personality. His speed, strength, reflexes, and coordination improve three times as much, allowing him to perform great feats the average person couldn't. Of course, EICE isn't so easy to trigger; the emotion would need to be extreme enough to cause such a reaction, be it the gradual stewing of annoyance-turn-rage, or the shock of a friend being harmed.
  • Weakness: Frailty. All the science and painlessness in the world can't stop a previously-dead guy from being previously-dead. He's exceptionally easy to puncture, dismember, or what-have-you. Decapitation or any real damage to the brain will kill him just as much as if he were normal, too.
  • Equipment:
    • Booster Shot: A specially made one-shot injection. Using it allows the area surrounding the injection point to artificially increase cell production. Science mumbo jumbo, it can have him quickly heal an injury or two. Nothing too major, like a lost limb, and can only be used once before it needs refilling by Rudy (below).
    • Walkie Talkie: A long-range single-channel Walkie Talkie that Frankie uses to secretly connect with Rudy (below) without being spied on.
    • Cellphone: A regular old smart phone used for the less scandalous communications.
  • Description: Frankie is a very thin young adult, somewhere in his late-teens. His skin is pale and just a touch grey, rough and tight to his body. Frankie is quite bony - very little in the way of flab or muscle. He isn't super tall, though isn't a shortie either, being of average and unnoticeable height. His moppy hair is a dull black, not too short and not too long, but definitely wiry and without care. His face is plain, a dented nose and bloodshot eyes being the only defining features to it.
  • Personality: Frankie is, without a doubt, deserving of his surname of 'Wild'. He is a crass, rude, loud, selfish, impulsive kid. He holds little respect to those who he feels doesn't deserve it, though he doesn't give a whole lot to those that do, either. Because of his situation, both long- and short-term, he's a brutal realist and won't hesitate to knock someone down a peg with a cutting remark, along with being a reckless soul who rarely thinks about the kind of death he flings himself towards. That said, he's not one-dimensional; those who earn his trust can find him a loyal ally, and he's very protective of his close friends and for those who can't fight back. He's also got something of a passionate side to him, with a love of cooking, cheesy anime, and cool stunts.
  • Background: Frankie was - is - dead. He used to be a slowly rotting corpse ten feet beneath the land of the living before being dug up and turned into a freakish science experiment. Any semblance of his life before then was just a haze, aside from him knowing a) a large amount of the world already and b) what could be his name. "Frankie". Hailing from Utopii, a city similar to Easton but on a much smaller scale, he had been a new brand of weird for the city that had since only seen mindless zombies fueled by magic. Frankie was a first: a manipulation of nature on a level Utopii had never figured possible before, a use of science to perfect a magical art. As such, when he first made a scene and put himself in the public light, he was not warmly welcomed. Since the method of being discovered was a rapid frenzy against some nutjob shooters, he was quickly scooped up and made to work under the prevailing defenders stationed there, the SUD (to be detailed later). Since then, he and his friend/creator/pest Rudy have been following order after order in order to keep government eyes off their backs. Of course, this didn't work out quite that way. After one too many instances of un-heroic behavior - assault, theft, murder - the pair were put under probation and shipped off to Easton, where a large influx of positive role models were to be found. Frankie, having done all of the above for the sole sake of protecting the weak, was royally pissed off by this. Without being able to do anything about it, however, he begrudgingly allowed himself to be carried like cargo to a place he's never been to and set up in a house he didn't know. Now that he's there, Frankie is still being ordered around by the small SUD branch stationed to keep watch over him and Rudy during their probation, making sure they don't overstep their boundaries.

  • Identity: Rudy (aka Timothy Rutherford II, Antihero, Mad Scientist, public identity (sort of)
  • Powers & Abilities:
    • Advanced Intellect: Rudy comes from a long line of impressive thinkers, and it really shows. The kid is very smart, holding wealth upon wealth of information in his head and also learning more. He's a brilliant tactician, physicist, engineer, biologist, the list goes on. Were it not for some minor mental troubles, he would possibly have one of the highest I Qs in existence.
    • Technological Prowess: Due to his immense cache of knowledge, Rudy is quick with his hands, able to craft most anything so long as he has the right supplies. While he won't be jury-rigging a cannon out of some gum and an innertube, give him an hour with some old computers and he could whip up just about anything.
  • Equipment:
    • Walkie-Talkie: A long-range single-channel Walkie Talkie that Rudy uses to secretly connect with Frankie (above) without being spied on.
    • OmniG-OGL: Otherwise known as the OmniGoggles, or just plain Goggles, this is a specialized piece of hardware made by Rudy himself. It looks like a thick black brick that slip over Rudy's eyes easily, with two quarter-sized green dots on the front-facing end to act as the viewports. Along with being as protective as goggles should be, the Goggles can do several special things; they contain special hardware for telescoping, night-vision, and thermal; it can scan for and display sources of electrical current; and they are capable of connecting to the internet, providing Rudy with several sources of information on the fly. He never leaves home without them!
    • Jetpack: A very simple mode of flight that Rudy carries around with him when he's out on the field. It starts as an ordinary, if metallic, backpack, and at the press of a button can sprout short wings and miniature jets, with a personal helmet attached for increase aerodynamics and protection. It is very meticulously made - nobody but Rudy can use it properly, as it's calibrated and fueled perfectly to account for his weight. Can typically hold enough juice for 30 minutes of flight.
    • Toolbelt: A regular leather belt that can hold several tools at once. It helps to have them on hand should the need arise to fix, break, or make something.
  • Description: To get one thing clear, Rudy is pretty tall. He's not the world's tallest kid by any means, but compared to the averagely-sized Frankie, he's getting up there (6'1") despite being roughly the same age as Frankie himself. Rudy has something of a lean build, though with enough muscles and chub to not look too off. His skin is also pale, though not at the same level as Frankie, either. His hands are larger than normal, with long and skinny fingers. He has short dirty-blond hair on his head, which he at least tries to keep straight, though given his usual affairs it quickly gets out of control. His face is angular, pointed chin and small cheekbones, with a thick nose and wide, green eyes.
  • Personality: Rudy can be summed up in one easy word: "eccentric". He is very single-minded, having one task to focus on and going for it with little regard for what else might need doing. As such, he often plain doesn't remember any information that he deems irrelevant to what he needs at the moment. He also has the habit of rushing off on his own or going on a tangent when he begins to near his end goal. Outside of that, he's easily excited and constantly cheerful even in the face of adversity. He loves when his intellect is put to the test and never passes up an offer to be right about something, though not out of egotism, just that he really likes that he knows so much. He's not incapable of being serious, however, and always lends a hand whenever he needs to.
  • Background: Rudy was the one to bring Frankie back to life. Dug his corpse up, hooked it to all of his machines, worked tirelessly for days in order for it to work. And, when it did, he was ecstatic. His more tiring work was fully realized, right in front of him, spouting profanities and shout incessantly! What started out as a him being the 'Frankenstein' or Frankie's ''s Monster' eventually became an actual, friendly bond between the pair. Well, it was needed, of course, due to their constant proximity to each other. As they made their mark on their home of Utopii, Rudy never let his joy waver, as his creation was actually getting recognition and doing good. When the whole fiasco of being put on probation and moved out, Rudy didn't care one bit. The fact he got to go to a superhero hotspot, and with his best friend to boot, was more than enough to make up for the negatives of it. Now he's settled in with Frankie, working further on trying to bring his close buddy to the nearest of life he could be...as well as sewing him back together. Something most people don't know, of course, is that Rudy is actually Timothy Rutherford II, heir to the R&R Tech Labs company. Due to his unconventional approach to the sciences, he was shunned constantly by his parents, who tried to keep his existence as limited as possible to the outside world. He eventually ran away, unable to handle the pressure and abuse, eventually living in an abandoned shack. Until he made Frankie, of course.

I just realized that this whole Frankenstein scenario, I named the monster in it "Frankie". Totally unintentional.

  • Identity: Caroline Chen, AKA Chen Yu (retired villainess-turned-real estate agent, neutral, public ID but not many people actually know about her anyways).
  • Powers & Abilities:
    • Functional Immortality: Caroline Chen possesses a Healing Factor that only activates post-mortem. This effectively means she can be injured or killed like any normal human can, but the moment her organs shut down, the ancient magic that has been implanted in her body activates and gets to work healing it back to full capacity. However, her regeneration takes time, depending on damage sustained. She's capable of regenerating From a Single Cell, but that usually takes years, if not decades. Meanwhile, 'cleaner' methods of death may take as little as half an hour for her to resurrect from, although such fast resurrections usually mean she can still feel the pain from whatever killed her. It's worth noting that, while she's naturally developed many immunities to diseases over her long lifetime, her Healing Factor will wipe out any diseases or poisons in her body in the event that they kill her.
  • Description: Caroline is a tall and slender woman of Han Chinese ethnicity (in fact, she's one of the original Han Chinese, since she was alive during the Han Dynasty, but more on that later). She has short, greying black hair which she wears in a bob, and appears middle-aged even though her Immortality Began At 28, as a side effect of several generations' worth of drug and alcohol abuse. She generally dresses in a navy blue business suit with pants and sandals, but whatever she's wearing, her clothes appear to be in an almost permanent state of stress, with her shirts creased and left untucked and her sleeves rolled up.
  • Personality:
    • Caroline is not the friendliest woman around, it has to be said. Under normal circumstances, she has two modes: thinly-veiled contempt or brutal, open contempt. The way she sees it, she's been alive so long that pretty much nothing is new or interesting to her, social mores of politeness are a complete waste of time, and what's the point of indulging people if they're going to be dead in a few measly decades anyhow? That being said, she doesn't spare herself from her contempt, being just as likely to insult herself as she is the people around her.
    • As an ex-villainess, she now regards the super community with revulsion for making life too complicated for everyone else, though she saves the worst revulsion for herself. It is possible to earn her respect, but don't expect that to stop her from insulting you anyway.
    • There is one thing that's likely to make her calm down, though... going for a nice drive. For some reason, the novelty of being in a horseless carriage never really wore off for her, especially as they started making faster and more impressive horseless carriages.
  • Background:
    • Born Chen Yu somewhere around the location of modern Shanghai, sometime during the Han Dynasty, Chen was one of the world's original villainesses. The daughter of an aspiring Evil Sorceror, he planned to sacrifice her in a ritual to attain immortality, only for her to turn the tables and sacrifice him instead. ...At least, that's how she remembers it. Or she might have been a genetically-engineered alien/human hybrid. Cut her some slack, it was thousands of years ago.
    • While her memory of her past life is hazy, she does clearly recall the time she travelled the ancient world, gathering together individuals with wacky powers and forming a roving, superpowered bandit gang called... damn, she can't remember. The Masters of the Universe or something? Probably not. In any case, she lead this gang all over... robbing people, maybe? Probably. All she knows is that they did a lot of pillaging. But pretty soon, they decided that wasn't enough. They wanted to be kings and queens. No, Gods.
    • To that end, they formed a cult dedicated to the worship of superpowered individuals, headquartered on some island in the Yellow Sea, and spent several centuries building up their own paradise on the backs of indoctrinated slaves. Chen established herself as leader of the 'pantheon' by virtue of outliving everyone else who came along, but soon her underlings starting fighting amongst each other, arguing over what 'roles' they should each have in the pantheon, what they represented, and who was superior to who. All the different houses, gods, demigods and fallen gods soon became an utterly confusing mess, and to make matters worse, the armies of Feudal Japan recruited some superhumans of their own and struck against them while they were busy fighting amongst themselves. Thus ended the world's first supervillain union, and Chen can't even remember what they were called.
    • Chen made numerous attempts to revive the union, but her credibility had been shot to hell and no-one would willingly work for her anymore, so she faked her death and decided she'd find out what it's like to be good instead. She shaved her hair and disguised herself as a male monk, travelling all over the place and helping people out with their problems. However, once she got bored of that, this soon turned into 'screwing around with people for shits and giggles' and she turned into a con artist.
    • It was around this time that she began to regularly abuse the drink and drugs of the day to cope with an encroaching sense of boredom and indifference to life. She vaguely remembers becoming a pirate at around this time, joining another supervillain union halfway across the world in Europe, and when that crashed and burned she moved to the newly-established United States and founded a gambling club which would later become the Platinum Seven casino in Easton City.
    • Then she got caught up in some witch trials and got killed about five times in increasingly grisly ways, at which point she decided it might be a better idea to keep a low profile; after all, superhumans were obviously becoming far better known and they'd have to if they wanted to survive in a rapidly modernising world. When that didn't happen, she began to feel like a bit of an idiot, but hey, at least she had no part in it.
    • After a few more decades of fake deaths, changing jobs, and new skillsets learned and unlearned, she eventually became a real estate agent in modern-day Easton City. A job that, while she'll never actually admit it, is something she enjoys; the stress brings back memories of her villainess years, and she's found that her customers tend to appreciate it when she's brutally up-front about the properties she's selling, especially since, if you're buying property in Easton City in the first place, odds are good you're going to buy it regardless of what she says.

Identity: Jeanne du Ciel (Joan of the Sky) Angel/superhero. AKA as Jeanne du Arc/Joan of Arc. Public Identity, though most people just don't believe its really her.

Powers & Abilities:

Immortality: Jeanne cannot be permanently killed. No matter how she is destroyed, she will return when her celestial masters so decree.

Holy Form: Radiates an invisible aura that calms negative emotions and repels demons, vampires and similar creatures. She can also grow feathered wings to fly, but rarely does so.

Vulnerability to evil: Takes extra damage from unholy magic, weapons and creatures.

Combat Skills: Highly skilled with medieval weapons. Tactical genius. Skilled in piloting WWII airplanes.

Description: Wears a female aviator's suit from the 1940's. She has short black hair in a "page" cut and dark eyes.

Personality: For someone who has gone through such traumatic events, Jeanne is surprisingly chipper. In fact she likes to joke around, including flirting with guys (always just to tease them; she's a virgin and intends to stay one.) This can make her sound silly (especially since she speaks English with a thick French accent) but she's actually very smart, and turns very serious when it is necessary.

Background: Jeanne was born in France during the 15th century. At the time, her country was being invaded by England. She was just a maiden from a small town when she began hearing voices that she was convinced came from angels; these voices told her to join the army and help repel the invaders. She tried, but was rejected for being a girl. She disguised herself as male and this time made it.

In the army, her combat and tactical prowess led to many victories. Even after her true gender was revealed, she was honored as a hero by her people and even the king himself.

Unfortunately, she was eventually captured and taken to England, where she was accused of being a witch and burned at the stake... except nothing was found after, not even ashes.

In 1940, France was invaded by the Nazis. Jeanne suddenly reappeared, and while few believed it was really her -instead assuming she was a delusional super- she still quickly became famous for helping the French Resistance and Allied Superheroes. In particular, Jeanne loved technology, especially airplanes, and was eventually trusted with her own bombardier. She became the archenemy of the German villain, The Conductor.

As soon as the war was over, though, she vanished again, leaving many to wonder about her true identity.

Recently, Jeanne has reappeared on Easton, apparently having been sent to deal with the evil supernatural forces gathering there.

Okay, here's my second "hero" to replace Siren if she moves over to the school game.

  • Identity: Ignis, "other", fire elemental, try keeping this guy a secret
  • Powers & Abilities:
    • Ignis is a hulking brute. He is incredibly strong and tough; bullets bounce off his stony body, and he can take immense punishment before going down. In addition, his body is hot to the touch. When sufficiently angry, an aura of heat radiates from off of him, the closer he is to meltdown to hotter he gets and the wider this radius is.
    • He can manipulate fire and earth, using it as an attack, ranging from tossing balls of magma to breathing fire.
    • When he gets angry, his power increases, but his mass becomes more unstable and he starts to coalesce into a more molten form. This form makes him stronger but at a cost— it exhausts him much more than normal. If sufficiently exhausted he may completely collapse and die.
    • As an elemental he is very much in tune with the fabric of nature. If something threatens the primal balance of nature he can sense it innately. Strong sources of primal natural energy radiate like a beacon to him, and he is attracted to potent natural places.
    • Cold, especially water, chills him to the point that his internal fire puts out. If this happens, he goes into a dormant state and basically becomes a statue. Despite this, he is still alive in this state, and returning to a source of heat will eventually wake him up.
  • Description:
  • Personality:
    • Ignis, in his element, is quiet and reserved. However, he is easily startled, and when startled he can fly into a rage. Having been dormant for thousands of years he does not understand the modern world. In his rage he can be violent. He is also violent when threatened, and he has terrible mood swings that cause him to destroy everything around him. If calmed down he can be reasoned with, but he does not understand much yet and so he must be handled with patience. He simply wants to be left alone, and return to his home. However, he does not yet know where his home is.
  • Background:
    • Ignis was born in the heart of a volcano, Mt. Vesuvius. After the fated eruption that buried Pompeii, Ignis fell into the sea and lay dormant for thousands of years. Eventually, a deep sea salvage operation led by Langston University found him in dormant form at the bottom of the sea while on a dig for ancient Roman artifacts. Dredging him out, the ship carried him back to Easton, where he was eventually brought to the Easton Museum of Art.

I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.

So, I've decided to upload Ni, Leera and Kosh's character sheet individually. They have more detail, they are more easy to find.... and other pluses. I'll being with...

Ni:

Identity: Ni of Deviance, Sin Princess of Deviant Lust. Villain... naturally.

Powers and Abilties:

Picture combat: Ni can instill some form of reaction using pictures that she summons. Make them slaves, horny, horrified, in pain... whatever. Almodt any kind of reaction. Ni can also bring weapons and minions from her pictures.

Lust embodiment: Obviously, she represents lust. As such, she can feed on any deviant lusts.

Song: Ni can do the same things above while singing.

Appearance change: She can change her appearance at any time.

Personality: Of course, sexual deviant. Likes abducting children. Ni believes that what she's doig will bring joy to everyone. Deep down, hoeever, she hates being like this. Yet... she can't stop. Because she doesn't want to realize thay her heart was empty.

Background: Sin Lord didn't expect much from Ni, so he let her do whatever she wanted. To bring 'joy', she turned worlds into giant amusement parks, circuses and theme parks filled with deviant humans.

She came to Easton since it was Easton!verse's turn.

Everything that lives is designed to end.

Alright, now to introduce another Sin Prince...

Kosh:

Identity: Kosh the Hateful, Sin Prince of Envious Hate. Villain (perhaps the most villanous of the Princes)

Powers and Abilities:

Body surfing: Since Kosh is formless, he can hop from one body to another. He can also possess people.

Tear of Rage: when Kosh resides in one body for a second, he leaves a Tear of Rage in his victim. It makes victims go berserk with rage for a while. It's not permanent, however.

Shades of Hate: when Kosh possesses a body and leaves it, that body turns into his minion: Shade of Hate. These Shades keep some of their powers intact, but they all burn people.

Formless: Technically, he doesn't exist, so he can't be killed... theoretically. Kosh can only die when he lets go of his hatred (Darth Sion from KOTOR 2, for comparison)

Hate and Wrath embodiment: Can feed on hate and rage in hearts of living beings.

Weaknesses: He, like other Sin Princes, is vulnerable to holy magic.

Also, he doesn't have much combat capability even when he possesses a super.

Personality: for a Sin Prince that embodies Wrath, he is surprisingly jolly. But it all hides his spite and hatred towards everything that exists. And, he also likes to mentally mess up people, rather tham physically. Omnicidal Maniac.

Backstory: Kosh was the hated among Sin Princes. It wad because he tried to do good, instead of committing atrocities. Kosh desperately wanted to defy his nature... until he became formless. The reality itself rejected his redemption.

From that moment on, he became hate filled wraith demon, spreading rage and hate across all reality. Some worlds turned into literal bloodbaths because of him. Sensing most of Sin Princes inside Easton!verse, he travelled here... to destroy the world.

Everything that lives is designed to end.

Alright, I'm in the mood for superhumans a la Saitama, plus I have a potential plot thread that crosses over with Facility Kappa. (even though it hasn't started yet tongue) So this is a new character who shares Jackson's powers from Facility Kappa. This could come into both stories later.

Vigour

  • Identity: James Moore (Hero, no secret identity)
  • Powers & Abilities: Superhuman strength, stamina, speed and endurance. Survived a car crash with a few (albeit heavy) bruises, can run at a speed of up to 45 mph, and can keep up that speed for 20 minutes. Has managed to bench press over 2,000 lbs. Also has the ability to activate Killer Mode when under intense stress. In this mode, all moral obligations throw themselves out the nearest window, and he focuses completely on obliterating his target. His eyes start to glow, and he starts to emit an aura of incredibly potent killing intent. This causes most people, even psychics to freeze in fear. However, people with medium to strong mental resistance can avoid this.
  • Weakness: Incredibly powerful, but not as invulnerable as you may think. A few solid hits from any stronger than average super could put him out of commission, just like any other human. Killer Mode, given enough time, dissipates naturally. The best way to deal with him is to land a few solid hits, retreat when he slips into Killer Mode, and then knock him out while he's disoriented from coming out of it.
  • Description: His appearance slightly shifts depending on which mode he is in.
    • Normal Mode: Caucasian male, aged 27. Height 5"9. Dark brown hair with grey eyes. Has an average body type despite his strength. As Vigour, he wears a suit of dark blue Kevlar with a black cape.
    • Killer Mode: He suddenly becomes more muscular, and his eyes go blank and start to glow. His height also increases slightly, bringing him up to 6 foot. He begins to emit a suffocatingly intense aura of killing intent, causing victims to freeze in horror. He also goes mute, although this is more due to rage than his abilities.
  • Personality: In Normal Mode, James is quite a laid-back, sarcastic individual. He gives off the impression that he doesn't take his job seriously, although this couldn't be further from the truth. Due to the nature of his Killer Mode, few people have attempted to become friends with him. He isn't very tactful in battle, but due to his power he doesn't really need to be. In Killer Mode, however, he becomes entirely focused on the target. All forms of mercy and empathy vanish. He goes completely silent, giving off an eerie impression even if he didn't have his terrifying aura.
  • Background: James was a freshly starting high school student when his powers manifested. After a stressful week of studying, only to be met with a disappointing grade, he took out his rage on a nearby wall. It was immediately destroyed. In actuality, a small group of entities have shown an interest in superhumans, and had been transferring themselves into the consciousness of a select few of their choice, drastically increasing their abilities. They mainly sleep until they feel threatened, in which case they will lash out. James is one of two currently known, including Jackson Rainer, to be the host of one of these dormant entities. Intrigued by his newfound strength, he wasted no time in training to increase his power. He grew strong enough to lift a car in little to no time. After years of training to his full potential, he noticed that training had no visible effect on his muscles. It only seemed to have an effect whenever he entered Killer Mode. He began work as a superhero shortly after the first Parasite Invasion, and is currently active. He has not gained a lot of recognition, as he does not seek for fame or fortune, even nicknaming himself the "Hero for the hell of it".

Because I agree that we need angels to counterbalance the number of demons and the like, have a thing:

Alariel:

  • Identity: Alariel, (arguably) fallen angel of the Heavens
  • Alignment: Neutral, definitely leaning towards antihero
  • Job: (Fallen) Angel
  • Powers and Abilities:
    • ”Those who fear darkness have never seen what the light can do.”
    • Light 'em Up: Alariel retains a significant amount of her power over the light, and is capable of using all sorts of blinding and damaging attacks.
    • Weapons master: As a soldier of heaven, she has honed the art of combat over millennia. She can be considered an expert with… a very wide variety of weapons.
    • Hyperspace arsenal: She has an extradimensional arsenal that she may draw from at any time. She has
    • Limited immortality: Like all angels, Alariel cannot be killed on the material plane, only banished back to… elsewhere. Unlike most angels, Alariel has an annoying tendency for this to be the most ironic place. It usually ends up being somewhere in hell. Most of the resident demons have learned not to mess with her while she finds her way back to the material, generally after about a week. Additionally, she does not age.
    • Holy aura: She radiates an aura of holy light, which she can dim at will. Her eyes glow a bright gold.
    • Masquerade: She can shift her form into that of a normal human, where she looks pretty much like what she does as an angel, but in normal clothes and not all glowy. Her eyes remain gold, though they do not glow.
  • Description: Behold a soldier of Heaven! She’s 6’3 and built fairly athletically.
  • Personality: Alariel has a strong sense of justice and a strong belief in what is right and what is wrong - though that is not to say she suffers from Black-and-White Insanity. She understands that grey is a thing and the vast majority of things are it. She firmly believes the answer to “To be lawful or to be good” is to be good. She very much enjoys classical music, and thinks pipe organs don’t get nearly enough hype. She enjoys playing Magic: The Gathering, and is a total nerd when she’s not being a holy avenger.
All of that said, she’s also a very vindictive person, and slights against her do not go unpunished, though she doesn’t escalate, she retaliates in kind. She also firmly believes there are people in the world that cannot be redeemed, and must be slain for the greater good. She also tends to be rather foul-mouthed.
  • Background:
    • Alariel has been around for a long time. For most of that, she was loyal servant of the heavens, dispatched to whence she needed to be, et cetera et cetera. Never the most… devout of angels, she nevertheless repressed that and kept true to the tenets. Then, a couple hundred years ago, she had the misfortune of falling in love with a young woman from Prussia. For this, she was cast out of heaven, doomed to become a fallen angel.
      Sort of.
She’s stuck in a limbo between a ‘true’ angel and a fallen angel - not twisted into a demonic echo of what she was, but also not as powerful as she once was. But nor is she as bound to the dogma of the angelic hosts, a fact which she takes liberal advantage of. Heaven… tolerates her for the moment, so long as she doesn’t get in their way and remains focused on protecting the Material, which she has.
She generally tries to keep out of inter-governmental mortal affairs, though she did fight along side the Allies during WWII (sort of), trying to ferret out a Nazi demon cult.
Recently arrived at Easton after a nasty case of death, having a succubus fall in love with her, and other amusing and annoying (mis)adventures in Hell, she hopes to be able to do some good before she dies.
      Again.
  • Other: Leitmotif: Pipe organs, yo.
