I mean, if you played Detective Pikachu you'll know that Mewtwo seems like a villain but he isn't.

Speaking of trading cards, the movie, being based on a multi-billion dollar franchise, is of course getting merchandise!
Highlights include a novelty hat based on Detective Pikachu's deerstalker hat (complete with pika-ears!) and a stuffed animal version of the eponymous character himself, which apparently has two speaking modes: Ryan Reynolds English or classic Pikachu Pokéspeak!
I want the hat and the coffee sign. I have strange tastes.

I was a tad disappointed the Power of Us lacked promos.
So I'll happily collect this set, even though I'm not a fan of collecting the newer promos that much.
The Pikachu is a really good looking card.
That Greninja also seems to be a really good card, if I'm understanding its ability correctly. It might seem some serious play.
Although on second thoughts maybe its attack is too low for consistency against other GX decks.
Ah, actually upon reading further, it seems they're bundled with a tie in set.
I hope some sort of in theater promo is released. Those are always so much fun...
