Can't see anything overly objectionable with any of the characters created between this and my last post, so all of them are accepted.
And on that note the Discussion Thread is up and running. I may be a bit slow to reply though; for some reason I can't add stuff to my thread watchlist.
Icon by Civvi the Civilian!I'm getting the same error. Something tells me the Watch button is broken.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."I have the same problem with the watch button as well.
The watch button seems to work better for some people than others, as for some reason I have no issue.
Some people say I'm lazy. It's hard to disagree.- Name: Alvin Guld, aka Gold Mask
- Age, Gender, and Species: 16, Male, Human.
- Appearance: Alvin is, honestly, nothing special to look at. He's rather thin and, while not buff, has a fair amount of lean muscles. Just barely under 6 feet tall, with average white skin and a head of short & ragged black hair. Hazel eyes, a short nose, and thin lips adorn his rounded face. He generally wears simple clothes such as jeans, shorts, as well as a lot of polo shirts. Plus a custom-made bullet-proof vest beneath that (you can never be too careful). His “costume” isn’t very outstanding, either: a black cotton spandex jumpsuit that fits over his regular clothes, gold colored boots & matching insulated gloves, a yellow sash tied around his waist, and the eponymous mask itself. And a leather jacket, to look cooler.
- Personality: Alvin is, on the surface, a regular teenager. He’s blunt, particularly sarcastic towards people/things that annoy him, and doesn’t make his emotions very hidden. His feelings are a different matter as he tends to dodge questions about them unless they’re necessary to say. He’s also a bit self-centered and stubborn, the two usually mixing together when he doesn’t want to do something. Of course, he tries not to be overly mean to people that don’t deserve it, and most of his negative traits are a product of him wanting to shut himself away from the crazy world he lives in. It doesn’t help that ever since becoming the hero he is, he’s developed a nasty case of Chronic Hero Syndrome, so whenever someone’s in danger and there’s something he can do about it, he is physically unable to turn away from them (much to his displeasure).
- Backstory: To understand Alvin’s life, you need to know the history of his home town, the island-bound Criptón City. That’d take a bit too long, so here’s the gist of it; City was overrun with criminal activity sometime in the late 1850’s. One man, The Vigilante, showed up and started beating the lowly criminals up, leading the city into a time of relative peace. The various gangs started wising up and decided to fight fire with fire, i.e. fixing their goons up with rather unstable powers, being able to match the Vigilante toe-to-toe. Crime went back up. Certains government institutions decided to do the same, augmenting human DNA to give them dangerously dangerous strengths and such. But they couldn’t just subject random people to it. So, Criptón City officials decided to introduce the “United Citizens” initiative, giving volunteers the ability to gain, while not superhuman, above-average enhancements to their normal capabilities. How did they get around the whole “human testing” thing? Special crafted masks that injected a special strain of DNA into people that wore them, granting them their temporary abilities. It worked, for a bit. Then they started attacking people with minor infractions. Then they attacked themselves for attacking otherwise innocent people. The project ended, masks collected, and the experiment was over. But this whole event kick-started a whole new revolution for the city, one involving superheroes. Cut the modern day, where good old Alvin is hanging out in the Hall of Heroes, the oddly named museum for the revolution in question. One such mask from back then is on display, shown as a catalyst for the growth and spread of superhuman powers. Then the museum gets attacked, leaving him and his classmates locked in with a bunch of dangerous powerful criminals. In a moment of panic, Alvin grabs the mask from the case, thinking he could use it to simply escape the situation and be done with it. However, the mask still had the deteriorated strain, the one that made people go all Justice crazy. Pretty much against his will, he beats up the bad guys and manages to save everyone in there. Ever since, Alvin was stuck with this new cursed artifact, as it were. Even without it on he still gets the literally irresistible urge to fight any and all evil he sees, so he can’t get rid of it unless he wants to just run into a giant battle as a squishy little human. But hey. That’s just what happens when you’ve got caped people flying around your city.
- Abilities/Skills/Powers: Without the Mask on, Alvin is a normal human being, so don’t expect much from him then. Of course, even with it on he isn’t someone like Superman, but he can still hold his own in a fight:
- Superhuman Strength: Superhuman is in “stronger than a regular human”, not “super strong”. He could lift something around 2 tons with some effort (like a pickup truck), but anything larger would take even more effort from him.
- Superhuman Flexibility: He can bend better than any acrobat, but not as good as a professional contortionist.
- Advanced Reflexes: The Mask enhances his mental capacity, allowing his reaction-time to be quicker, and able to both analyze a situation and move his body quicker as well.
- Made of Iron: Not literally, of course, but a side-effect of the gene is that in order for the changes it makes to the human body to stick, it would have to change the body so that i could handle the extra strain. As a result, anyone wearing the mask can handle more pain than a normal human could, not to mention be harder to wound.
- Intent Detection: A bit of an odd one. He's not exactly psychic, but because of the nature of the Mask, he's able to tell what someone's intent is. Whether it's to harm, help, somewhere in between, or neither.
- Other: He carries around a small backpack that he keeps his costume in, as well as a change of clothes. He holds his Mask in his back pocket, though, in case he loses the pack itself. There are also a couple things about the Mask that doesn’t exactly fit in as a power; When put on, it subtly changes around the structure of Alvin’s face. Not something too noticeable - altering the angles of his bones and jawline, for instance - but it helps to keep his otherwise exposed identity a secret. It also cannot be taken off unless he willing wants it to. So, if he’s fighting with someone, they can’t just snatch it off and cause him to lose his powers, but he can do it himself whenever he wants. Of course, if he doesn’t want it off, it clings to his face and pulling on it would cause quite a bit of pain for him.
Hope it's all okay. Honestly the character is something I'm still toying with, so some things might or might not make a whole lot of sense? Sorry if that happens.

I'm not seeing anything overly objectionable here, so Alvin Guld is accepted.
Icon by Civvi the Civilian! Is it too late to sign up? I've been really busy this week and haven't had the time to fill out a sheet.
off the shitsAs long as the OP says Sign ups are open, they are.
Icon by Civvi the Civilian!I made some additions to Sheik's Ability section; short version is that she can Stealth Hi/Bye, has Magically Regenerating Clothing, and has a magical harp that can cast five different elemental spells (the harp is from Hyrule Warriors, the magic clothing is to pre-emptively justify why she never has to change out of disguise, and the sneaking is a trait from OOT that I forgot to mention ).
Are the changes alright, or should I revert any?
they/them || "Forgive me, regent of queer amphibians" - Lt.BGobInterested, but still deciding a character. It's going to be another Dragon Age character though. I'm leaning between Sebastian Vael and Fenris from the second one. It's really just which one I think will have the worst reaction to the situation
Can I submit a couple of sheets and choose which one I want to use later?
It's acceptable to me, though I'm starting to get the feeling I'm bad at recognizing if something's potentially OP or not, or at least without seeing it in action first.
That's fine. Just don't switch between them willy-nilly (that goes for everyone who might consider changing characters).

Icon by Civvi the Civilian!I wanted to post both because I wasn't sure which is better based on the current submissions.

Name: White Wind
Age, Gender, Species: 500+, female, dragon/giant
Appearance: 8ft, shaped like a man, but 4 armed, standing on legs bent far more than they should and standing on the tips of talons instead of toes. a face like a shark's, angular and long nosed, childlike eyes bluer than ice, hair like bleached gold silk.◊ ivory skin pulled taut over cord-like muscles, covered in a billowing silver cloak.
Personality: A simple child that idolizes the heroes of old who slayed great beasts and protected the smallfolk. It's what she's done, alone and unyieldingly for centuries in the frozen forests of the north. The White Wind is shy to approach, conscious of her grotesque appearance, and has slowly been losing touch with the people she protects.
Backstory: Found and raised by deposed nobles who fled to the north, treated like their own and told stories of their homeland. After their short lives passed, she began her watch over the forests and kept the villages at its edge safe from unusually large wildlife.
Equipment:
- Old Sword: A to-scale greatsword pulled from an anonymous monument, it towers above even her at nearly 9 feet. It resembles european greatswords superficially, more like a polearm with blade and shaft lengths reversed, long and narrow and poorly suited for the cut.◊ It is finely made and has withstood untold ages exposed to the elements, not a spot of rust or bluntness to be found. It has no innate magical qualities to speak of, but can be used to channel magical energy regardless.
- Silver Cloak: Pilfered along with the sword. It is made from a fine silk unlike any humans of her time have seen before. Nothing in 500 years has cut it, fire does not damage it, and nothing can slip between it's weave, so tight that even water cannot pass through.
Abilities/Skills/Powers:
- Possessing a powerful body far beyond the capabilities of humans, elephants can be wrestled and big cats out performed. The feathers on a hawk's neck can be counted from a kilometer away.
- As a descendent of the people before humans, she is capable of magic, however, without any teachers, only simple spells are possible.
- Blizzard: Focus sight on a single point and flash freeze it, 10ft
- Aero: Make great strides carried on the wind and glide through the air
- Fire: Breath a plume of flame. Suitable for starting campfires.
- Fire and Aero: By stacking Fire and Aero spells repeatedly, can coat the sword with an improvised explosion enchantment, triggered by sinking the length of the blade wholy through its target. Charged for 5 minutes, it is equivalent to a 250lb bomb. At 10 minutes, it's yield is doubled. This technique is extremely mana intensive and at full charge will deplete her MP completely. Any less than 5 minutes and the effect will only be so much hot air.
- The White Wind is a hunter, not a warrior. None that could match her size and strength exist, or at least none have gone far enough north to meet her, so should such an opponent confront her, one properly trained or experienced, she would surely lose.
TL;DR: Living artillery battery, poor at anti-unit, excellent at anti-army/anti-fortress
Source: Original
Name: Princess Dorothy
Age, Gender, Species: 6 months, Female, Slime
Appearance: here◊ Membrane like silicone and insides like honey. Smells like peppermint with a hint of lemon.
Personality: The Ultimate Beautiful Perfect Princess, who shall most assuredly rule over all, bringing justice and love to the lost souls who have not yet heard of her majesty! No other is more talented and gracious as she, not a single enemy nor ally can resist her charm! The world was made just for her, and her alone! (She's delusional and narcissistic, don't listen to her.)
Backstory: As far as she knows, she spontaneously came into being nearby a lake. She left her self-appointed waterside kingdom to pursue world conquest, and let all peoples know the loving rule of the absolute best princess. (Her life consisted of lake squatting and wandering where she fancied. Actual princessing and politics= 0)
Abilities, Skills, Powers:
- Slime Body: Being mostly made of a thick, honey like substance, Dorothy is not easily harmed by conventional melee damage, making defeating her this way a matter of physically removing as much material as possible. Otherwise, heat and cold are effective. Posesses a Heart-shaped organ that acts as both brain and heart. Can stick to walls and manipulate body shape, density, and and hypothetically, color. Smells like what she eats.
- Liquid Gel Prototype Soldier: Superhuman reflexes and perception, allowing Dorothy to easily pick up a wide variety skills. Currently lacks the experience to make good use of it. Excessive biomass can be ejected to produce a new Dorothy, with all the memories of it's progenitor. Prolonged exposure to another living being may influence the traits of new Dorothies.
- Backyard Alchemy Experiment: Dorothy's soul is a hodgepodge mess, like a pile of broken ceramic stuck back together with playdough. Those with the sense for it can easily tell something is wrong with her. In effect, it makes Dorothy that much harder to influence mentally when set on something. A slime monster like her would be able to use magic if it had the intelligence to use it, however, that ability is lost. Dorothy cannot use magic.
TL;DR LVL 1, can spec into melee, physical damage resistance, can produce additional units

Dorothy's physical immunity would probably be a bit much, but other than that both characters seem fine by me and thus are both accepted. It's ultimately up to you which one you want to use, though if you want my suggestion I'd go with White Wind. I'll add you to the OP once you've made a decision on the matter.
On that note, I added a few more restrictions on powers to the OP's rules list. I don't think any character so far has abilities/powers/skills that drastically violating these rules, but it might be worth looking over your character sheet just in case.

Icon by Civvi the Civilian!Okie Dokie. I made some edits. Dorothy has a clear weakness and Wind is a little bit smaller. I'll prob make my choice in a few days when or if more ppl roll in.
I have to ask, is there a reason why White Wind can't use the Fire spell alone and only able to use it as a combo with the Aero spell?
Some people say I'm lazy. It's hard to disagree.I'm curious, with Dorothy's Progenitor ability is she able to sample other organic or magical life to code the daughter-Dorothys? That way there's variance with the Dorothy mooks, and they would potentially have "How Do I Shot Web?" as a problem since they only inherit her experiences. Though regardless I'm in favor of her because of how underused Slime Girls are.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."Added a new minor power to Shepard's roster. I'd like approval; otherwise I'll remove it.
"As an aside, she is also capable of biotically "punching" someone with significantly great force."
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."New power seems fine and as such has my approval.
On that note, let's keep discussion of the approved characters' abilities to the Discussion thread please.
Icon by Civvi the Civilian!Oh, it must have slipped my mind! I added an individual fire spell. It's not much.
Oh, another crossover RP and one run by you at that, Yome. Color me interested. Don't know how I miss this before but fortunately there is still for to get in a last minute sign up before this starts. Here you go:
- Source (Optional): Princess Waltz
- Name: Liliana " Lun Lun " Guenther
- Age, Gender, and Species: Around her 20's, female and human
- Appearance: Normal and here in her Dress
- Personality: At first, Lun Lun may appear to be just a comic relief character, mostly seeming to be airheaded, ditzy and with a short attention span. However, once things get serious and she gets into battle, she reveals herself as being far serious than she iniatilly appears to be. Having the most battle experience out of all the main characters from her story of origin, she posesses a highly tactical mind, being able to use the flexibility her power set offers to be very adaptable in combat.
- Backstory (Optional): Known as the Princess of Storm, Lun Lun hails from the royal family of the kingdom of Renstanza. It also noted that is an Admiral of her country's powerful navy. Despite beinf the eldest sibling, she was only one eligible to compete in the Princess Walzt, a tournament between the princess of the six kingdom under the rule of the empire of Eldhiland, where the winner wins the hand of the newly crowned Emperor. As her younger sister had married commoners, Lun Lun desired to prove herself and win the favor of the prince.
- Abilities/Skills/Powers:
- Dress: Magical armor-like clothing summoned for the purpose of combat in the Waltz. It is very resistant, but can be damaged over time and the weak spot is the Tiara, seeing that the winning condition in the Waltz is to destroy it.
- Fortune Twinkle: A water gun shaped like a dolphin. This is not a mere squirt gun, since it contains the treasure of Renstanza, the Aquamerald. This powerful gem allows the user to have complete control over water, being able to shape it to fulfill various purpose. As such, it is the primary source of Lun Lun's power.
- Heat Blitz - Angel Shoot - the most basic of her attacks, in her pistol forms bullets made out of water, which she can fire in quick sucession.
- Squall Blitz - Makes her water bullets shatter before impact, spreading shockwaves and several fragments, making it harder to avoid.
- Whip Blitz - Making the water solid and gelatinous, this technique turns it a whip that is as long as three times her height. It can go faster than the speed of sound and can used to either attack or snare the opponent.
- Cannon Blitz - Sea Divide - Turns Twinkle Fortune into a water cannon that rapidly fire more powerful projectiles of water.
- Black Widow - Makes water in a large cobweb, trapping the opponent. It can also be used like the string of bow to strongly the one entrapped towards the ground.
- Icicle Blitz - Fires water bullet that explodes into ice upon contact and freeze the part hit.
- Hard Rain - By pointing her gun towards the sky and pulling the trigger, she can make it start ot heavily rain
- Infinity Chain - By using the heavy rain caused by Hard Rain, she can use the water to form countless chains, spamming the entire area, even the air. It is noted that each chain is capable of holding off seven strong man.
- Blockader - Battle Mode - Uses the all chain formed by Infinity Rain to imprision the opponent.
- Blockader - Flying Dragon Mode - Expands the water chains so as to imprision the target in a large mass of high pressured water.
- Blockader - Attack Mode - After usign Flying Dragon Mode, she can use this to cause the mass of water to contract, crushing the target.
- Bloodmerald - By sacrifing her own blood, she can turn the Aquamerald into this crimson form, unlocking her most powerful but forbidden adn very dangerous techniques.
- Blood Claymore - Unleashes seven swords made out of her own blood, each represent the power of one of the seven oceans. They lock-on the target, following them around even as they move, but this ability is not absolute, seem as in canon, only three out of seven struck true. They also have the power of imobilizng whichever part of the body that was hit.
- Absolute Zero - By breaking the Bloodmerald, her strongest and most forbidden power can unleashed. This technique fires a large beam of ice in absolute zero temperature, freezing the target to death.
- Other: Seeing as the last two techniques are very powerful and that they also essentialy destroy her power source, I would restrict the use of the Bloodmerald to the final mission, perhaps even just to the final boss

On the day before the RP's supposed to start. Not quite last minute, but still cutting it a bit close.
Anyway, not seeing too much to complain about here; a little wary of the supersonic whip, but that's about it. Liliana is accepted.
Icon by Civvi the Civilian!- Source (Optional): OC from an original story I made.
- Name: Marva Harper
- Age, Gender, and Species: 25 year old female human
- Appearance: Black haired woman wearing a maid uniform. Her eyes are dark brown and she usually wears her hair in a neat bun. The uniform conceals it, but she’s actually somewhat muscular. She’s about 5’6” in height. (Will add picture later)
- Personality: Marva’s almost always smiling or wearing a pleasant expression. It borders on Stepford Smiler territory, though doesn’t quite breach it. Maybe she’s just good at hiding her emotions? Or maybe she’s trying to hide the void inside? It’s hard to tell. There’s at least some evidence to the former, as there are some things that she breaks for..
- Backstory (Optional): A maid working in the castle of some magical nobility. Not much else is known about her besides that, other than that she’s very good at her job and has a large number of weapons disguised as cleaning equipment.
- Abilities/Skills/Powers:
- Teleportation: Marva’s main power is magic based teleportation. She can teleport over quite a long range, about 100 miles on a good day. (Doing this, however, carries the risk of her passing out for an indefinite amount of time while her magic reserves replenish.) She also cannot teleport to a place she’s never been or can’t currently see. A final limitation is that she can’t teleport anything besides herself or items that she’s keyed to her magic signature. (She basically creates a “tag” on the item in question which can be traced. The process takes a while though, and will likely not be used in combat.)
- Combat Style/Acrobatics: Marva’s combat style is quite acrobatic, and usually involves her teleporting above her enemy and performing a downward strike with her weapons. She’s unfortunately not the most durable (being a normal, if magically gifted, human), at least compared to some of the people in this rp, and prefers to finish things quickly.
- Arsenal: She keeps several hidden weapons on her person, mainly knives and needles of some kind. Back home she has a room full of weapons which she summons with teleportation during battle. She probably won’t be able to reach it here outside of special circumstances, though.
- Cleaning: Probably not going to be relevant, but she’s good at cleaning. Comes with the job description.
- Other: She's taken to playing video games in her breaks. She likes fighting games in particular.
