Sirius as the untimely saviour of the Pantheon.

Also Sir Arthur survives due of semantics.

YHVH and his forces aren’t in the Pantheon most of the time, so even if Metatron was killed He would always make a million more.

I think the Phantom Thieves survivors should be Ren, Haru, Ryuji, and Futaba. Morgana would be there initially but comes to check outside once Mementos begins shaking for Galeem reasons... and never comes back. Picked these guys because they don’t have anything else to do but this. Maybe throw in Akechi who is in Mementos during this as well.

Should we kill off OP people like Beerus or both Zen’os during this? If Shin was annihilated, that gives a momentary chance to allow Beerus to be disintegrated along with Whis. Would Gold Experience Requiem be able to protect Giorno as well?

YHVH has his Egoverse which exists outside the Universe. Same for the Administrstors who exist on a higher plane with Canopus existing on an even higher plane of existence that is also his body.

Need a Monolith/Star God tech to access them.

The Administrators will likely not give a shit, because to them, nothing is wrong with Galeem’s universe. I have a plot point that involves YHVH: some survivors think YHVH is behind this since Galeem is angelic in nature and confront Him but he denies it but they have to negotiate with Him to have His angelic armies fight Galeem’s forces in the climax.

Also I would Thanos to be a survivor just for irony’s sake

Oh boy, YHVH. It's not like he's been overdone in the tale already.

YHVH would probably find the new universe ideal rather than aid them.

Especially now that NIN Es translation is out and YHVH is Yaldabaoth wants to kill all humans for a better univere.

Yeah I totally see YHVH loving the new Universe so he plays no part in this. But He sides with Galeeem anyways. Probably sends Malthael and Yaldabaoth to aid Galeem.

But YHVH relies on worshippers for power. Plus, most of the worshipping army he amassed is brainwashed and He’s not gonna be happy with that. It took awhile to get all those people to get on their knees, directly worshipping Him empowers YHVH even more than the belief of Order. Plus, He’d see it as a prime oppurtunity to take the Pantheon for Himself and try to eliminate Galeem and possess everyone it’s controlling

Not always. Some games he doesn't need humans alive to thrive. He'd prefer it yes because he loves being praised and worshiped, but Kill Em All is a good alternative when he can't get that.

@M1gami Tensei: Darn. I was gonna have Makoto among the surviving Phantoms and only have enough time to take Akihiko, Chie, and Ryotaro with her to Mementos before light hits the fan.

And perhaps a few of the White Hats turn out to have made it since they managed to discreetly hack into Futaba's P.A.D. and get the Meta-Nav during her first days among them before she started getting extremely serious with keeping it safe.

Also, I think Ren would probably let everyone he knows know because Chihaya would tell him since she might see it ahead of time (she's a fortune teller).

And for extra drama, Nanako doesn't make it. And neither do the CMC. Or any of the Elements.

As for the MLP cast, only whoever Discord manages to rescue. He does have his own chaos dimension. Irony dictates he manages to rescue Fluttershy... except it's EQG!Fluttershy in a pegasus body after he had switched their bodies again and forgot to reverse it before Galeem struck.

And IIRC, Corrin has access to an Astral Plane where their castle resides. They might be able to evac a few, but for drama sake, none of their siblings (inc. Azura) are among those they rescue. And I think I saw MegaMan.EXE in Megaman's Final Smash. I think they're screwed, too, by your rules.

Valla and the Astral Plane are not the same place. And I've already excluded Azura from the "safe ones".

Azura is a Spirit, so Valla is not safe haven.

I feel like placing a rule that if the game has a Spirit in Smash, then everyone there is out of the game. For more series wide thing, it depends. Like Mega Man series has Spirits from Classic, X an ZX, so Classic timeline is screwed. Battle Network timeline might be safe. Call it a MST3K Mantra/Bellisario's Maxim, whatever.

Sorry we're trying to assemble survivors. I mean, how did Kirby even make it with just a Warp Star? We wanted options. So we figured as long as the portal can be closed fast enough, they could be safe. Of course, if it follows through there, well...

Hmm... I think that means the Flash can survive too, by speeding right into the Speed Force.

I guess Giratina's dimension, being influenced by the regular one, would likely get screwed over differently.

Also, what do you think of this?

Just want to get this out of the way here but I think that for the Third Year of Pantheon stories we should focus on the more light-hearted side of the Pantheon.

What I mean is this; The Pantheon is more than just an endless war zone. It's the ultimate melting pot of ideas, cultures, flora, fauna, and entire worlds. We should explore what everyone is doing at this period of time and the adventures that come with it.

Now the first two stories that would be set in Year 3 are Muppets In The Pantheon and the aforementioned K-Pop competition, which will be given the title, "Ascension Tournament." If anyone else has any ideas please feel free to share.

I understand that some of us have grown tired of the Pantheon’s Forever War and focus on other things besides that which I get but the problem is many Pantheon stories take months to assemble, let alone an entire arc. You can create your own stories if you want but people such as myself see a huge story potential with World of Light, why do you think I asked for those interested to get on this thread?

If it makes it better, I hope the story doesn’t take itself that seriously. Those who have survived have to learn to wrok together to take on Galeem even if they don’t want to (Rick in a nutshell). The tone will be comparable to Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, where the stakes are set extremely high but doesn’t go into full on depressing mode either

Huh. Now that I think about it, I am planning a fic where a post-pantheon world where the truth behind the Pantheon is not revealed until the end (a Stealth Sequel perhaps?)

Samuel L. Jackson’s profile says that he saw the Pantheon’s end. What is a post-Pantheon world anyway?

For one thing, it starts out in The Dung Ages-esque with no memories of the past. However, the discovery of a statue of a Pantheon god shakes up the world. Hilarity and Seriousness ensues. As a matter within months, technology rapidly advances until somehow, History Repeats itself with various followers of the deities commiting yet ANOTHER Morality Civil War (at least under different circumstances). No one knows what happens next.

Yeah, that’s just a repeat of the Pantheon. That... actually is not a huge revelation about this place, just a reminder different idealogies will always clash with one another. Are you making a story that just replaces the Pantheon with a bunch of random worshippers instead? I’d like to think the Pantheon is one single timeline with whole lot Retcon in between.

Frankly, I don’t like the idea of the Pantheon having a Foregone Conclusion, that kinda undermines all the conflict and effort the deities had to go through only to reduced to cavemen who will only repeat what will happen. The element of thinking what stories to create are a vital part of the Pantheon’s lore and I’ll feel a bit discouraged if I would know if the story is gonna end up like that. The closest we get a hint to the Pantheon’s ending is a line from Samuel L. Jackson’s profile but I planned give it relevence in World of Light’s story. It’s better for the Pantheon not to have a concrete ending, so we don’t have that thing looming over us when we plan the next arc.

It’s like saying to someone who’s in the middle of watching the original Star Wars trilogy that Empire loyalists still be around by the sequel trilogy. Knowing that the characters had to fight blood, sweat and tears for their happy ending only for their troubles to not go away kinda takes you out of investment. I heard the phrase it’s the journey , not the destination but the destination better be worth it or else looking back at the journey will feels depressing, knowing what will happen.

I recommend you do a change it to being about experimenting on what would happen if a race was guided by the Pantheon’s lore. A micro-universe perhaps?

I’d like to make readers draw their own conclusion on what the Pantheon is, We know the original Holy Trinity were involved in some way but it’s better to leave that to the mind. Not all questions are meant to be answered

Look, the Pantheonic Rebellion is done with. It's over. This War of Light is just piggybacking off the hype the Nintendo Direct trailers.

Yeah, I somewhat agree. Can't we do this after we wrap up some of the storylines?

Gnoggin has an idea on who else would survive Galeem's attack.

First, the Smash characters, since they likely will have already experienced it.

• Kirby (since he survived the first time)
• Link (Zelda sends him to the Sacred Realm while he buys time for her to perform that)
• Bayonetta (she, and Rodin, escape to that Hell dimension)
• Captain Falcon (his racer can outspeed even the Creators in his universe, like in F-Zero GX)
• Shulk (Uhh... if his Monado is the original, he could attach it to a huge power source and create a pocket dimension for himself and others to hide in)

• Ness (PSI Teleport, but only if he's BEEN to a dimension Galeem can't reach)
• Corrin (go to the Astral Plane where their castle resides)

Now for others:

• Phantom Thieves of Hearts (escape to Mementos)
• The Flash (Speed Force)
• Clank (Chronoscepter) (of course he would try and take Ratchet with him)
• Q and other Reality Warpers (maybe)
• Bill Cipher (unless he lost his power to do that by series end)
• Star Butterfly (Dimensional Scissors, unless the beam follows her through it)
• Saitama (because everybody wpuld be screwed if Galeem could capture him)
• Yukari Yakumo and others who can open and close portals quickly to different dimensions (too slow and their destination dimension bites the dust, too)
