I was hoping clicking the trademark would do something, heh.

Still I love these silly little things.

Now they need Totaka's Song and the whole package will be complete.

I don't think he worked on Super Mario Maker. I only know that Koji Kondo worked on the game.

Think he was comparing these easter eggs to the ones in Mario Paint, which is where a lot of people first encountered the song.

I'm pretty sure Totaka's Song was in Yoshi's New Island (which Totaka was not involved in beyond recycled Yoshi voice clips), anyway.

It bothers me to an irrational extent that the amiibo Bowser costume uses the same jingle for both getting the costume and completing the level.

No special sounds unfortunately. Mixed feelings on Greninja's 8-bit sprite, the arms bug me a bit.

It looks like it's going for the whole Airplane Arms thing.

Not gonna lie, I'm probably only ever gonna play as Lucario or Charizard if/when I ever get this game.

That's pretty cool, but yeah, that sort of design needs an unlimited time.

I'll have to admit, one mechanic that I think I'm going to enjoy, depending on how flexible the game is, is the "jump over the goal" mechanic. I think that opens up all sorts of fun new Kaizo Traps - maybe you have to find an exit that doesn't feature a Kaizo Trap at the end. Maybe the exit's halfway through, and you have to go further to get the P-Switch to defuse the trap and double back with it. I just see so many possibilities.

I do hope that maybe they'll patch the game at some point to allow you to make a stage without a time limit, since that's the one thing that'll kill stages like that Metroid one.

Well, I mean, it depends on if you consider the current DK to be Jr. or not.

But yeah, Mario Tennis on N64 was the last non-rerelease he was in- Camelot was apparently unsure if they could legally use Diddy at the time.

The ones that have amiibos, yes. The rest (and possibly the amiibo ones as well) are unlocked through 100 Mario Challenge.

I'd be somewhat surprised if you couldn't retain costumes after picking up the appropriate mystery Mushroom in another player's level and finishing it.

I think it's been confirmed that that's the case.
