Pietro dashes back to avoid being reduced to cinders, snarling in pain when the fire nonetheless manages to scorch him.

   "Argh! In hindsight, I probably should have found Thor and brought him along before I came here..."   

Seeing as Giygas was being useless, he dashes over to the alien before attempting to Dope Slap him hard upside the head.

   "Y'know, for someone that Ninten and everyone from his world constantly hype up as this unspeakably horrific monster, I thought you'd actually be able to back up that reputation! Now get off your ass, quit moping around and actually do something, or so help me, I'm personally gonna throw you straight at Ninten!"   

He then takes flight with his Chaos Form's wings, whips up a Chaos Grenade Launcher, and beging firing on both Ninten and the closest monsters.

   "How about you quit hiding behind these things like a goddamn coward and fight me yourself?!"   

   "I do not know my real name. But most people just call me Redacted"   

He looked at the Warlock, and Hit. A quizzical expression on his face

   "Who are these two?"   

At this range and limited as he is in the air, there is not much Sombra can do to dodge. All he can do is pile layers upon layers of shields and hope they hold in face of the overwhelming thunder assault until Ana can seal the beast's power away. Thankfully, creating barriers is his special talent, and considering that he was able to keep two corrupted quasidivine beings at bay for years, this task is not as overwhelming as it may seem. Not to say he is having an easy time by any stretch of the imagination.

"Any moment now..."

Tokiko doesn't wait for Klug to gather his gelatinous horde. Without a further word, she immediately opens fire with a barrage of white feather-shaped arcane projectiles that seem to be her equivalent of a Magic Missile.

"Aha, Censored! This is Hit and unknown!"

The brain waves at Hit using one of the orc's arms.

Bardock enters a stance.

"Ka... me... ha... me... ha!"

It doesn't work out for him.

Ninten conjures up a PSI Shield to protect himself against Pietro's Chaos Grenades. The Kraken, however, don't have any protection, so they get hit with several explosions, stunned in the process.

Three of the Flying Men turn around to face Ryoma, whereupon they get hit by Rajinto. One of them actually perishes as a result, pulled back into Magicant. With only two others to focus on, Pippi starts to gain the upper hand again.

"Thank you lobster man!", she innocently says.

Lloyd, while still aiming his Multi-Bottle Rockets at the Dragon, turns to look at Pietro and Giygas.

"Hold on, Pietro, don't be too harsh on him! The reason he isn't attacking is because Ninten's Spirit is Queen Mary, Giygas' adoptive mother!", he says. He then turns to solely Giygas.

"I know it's difficult to attack Queen Mary. We're having trouble attacking Ninten. But they're both suffering, and defeating them is the only way to free them! Giygas, it's hard, but we all have to man up and attack him if we want to have any chance of winning this fight!"

"I couldn't agree more, li'l guy!"

Lloyd and Ana pause in surprise at that voice, both of them turning to look at the entrance, where it came from. A man◊ sprints by the Nohrians, leaping into the room, sword drawn, and slashes at one of the Flying Men to sent it sprawling onto the ground. He shows a determined grin when he turns around to look at his friends.

"Teddy!", Ana calls out.

"The one and only.", he replies, then turns to look at Giygas.

"Giegue!", the man calls out.

"Giygas.", Lloyd quickly corrects him, not wanting to risk infighting. Teddy glances at him, showing him a smirk and nodding to him, then turns back to Giygas.

"Giygas then. Let me tell you something! Maybe you're right. Maybe we'll all be overwhelmed and die. But you know what? Even if the odds look against us like this, we still have to try. Can you look Queen Mary in the eyes knowing that you can try to save her, but are just giving up?"

He points at Ninten and Queen Mary with his non-sword holding hand as he says this.

"Giygas! Look at them, fight them, and don't despair! Neither of them would want to see you that way! Yes, the odds are dire, but never forget-"

He balls his fist and grins.

If a man yells loud enough, he can do ANYTHING! Now show them that you're a man and fight!"

After having said that, Teddy immediately charges for the third, recently freed Kraken without fear or hesitation, punching and slashing at it.

Ana and Lloyd share a glance, then smile and nod. It's time to turn the tides.

Ana turns back to the Dragon now that Sombra is close to it and casts PSI Block, a literal small, blocky apparition appearing in front of Ana, which then launches towards the Dragon, growing to its size, flashing a few times, then disappearing.

The Dragon attempts to use PSI Thunder again, but is no longer capable of doing so.

"Now's our chance! PSI Block won't last forever, we gotta attack now!"

She uses a powerful PK Freeze Ω at the Dragon, and Lloyd unleashes his Multi-Bottle Rockets at it. Together, the attacks don't kill the Dragon, but they do bring it within critical health, allowing for Oboro's strike to finish it off. The beast roars as it falls off the tower and back into a portal to Magicant.

After dropping the PSI Shield, Ninten shows the group a dark glare, then glances at Pietro specifically.

"Awful brat...", he snarls. "If that's what you want-"

He uses the 4th-D Slip to warp his bat back into his hand, gripping it tightly as flames form on it.

   "Then I will discipline you."   

Boosting his jump with psychic powers, he jumps up towards Pietro and attempts to whack him down with the PK Fire-infused bat that Phoenix had once given him.

   "Hold on, that's Queen Mary? I know it's been a while, but I remember her looking way less dark and corrupted... This is somehow Dharkon or Galeem's fault, I'll bet."   

Whipping up a Chaos Magic replica of Captain America's shield, Pietro raises it just in time to defend himself from the brunt of Ninten's attack, though the force behind the strike sends him crashing back to the ground with a pained grunt.

   "Ugh... That's rich, coming from the only actual brat here! Why do I always end up fighting the arrogant, full-of-themselves puppets/spirits?"   

After taking a moment to recover, he climbs back to his feet and fires a Chaos Bolt straight past Ninten's head... only to fly straight towards him in an attempt to whack him with a Chaos Magic replica of Mjolnir afterwards. Regardless of his ploy's success, he then glances at the newly arrived Teddy.

   "Heh, I had a feeling you'd show up eventually!"

Why, thanks. says Ryoma, unfazed about the compliment, though he takes a second or two to register it with a confused look on his face.

When Teddy arrives, he heartily approves and even raises Raijinto into the sky when Teddy concludes his speech, before turning over to Takumi.

I shall focus on the main threat, Takumi. Could you cover our allies from afar ?

Yeah, I'm a bit weakened but those things are nothing to me anyway !

Ryoma smiles and, seeing that the Flying Men are under control, begins to make a dash for Ninten, readying his mighty sword !

Takumi pulls back and prepare his arrows shot, though he lowers his weapon when Oboro kills the -heavily weakened- dragon. Oboro herself stand there, dumbstruck at the idea of downing such a beast.

Great job Oboro !

T-thanks ! Now, onwards !

Peri smirks madly at the sight of the fight and speech, and Xander is actually looking impressed.

Sombra lets out a sigh of relief when the dragon goes down. "Hopefully this will keep things under control for now. Let's try to take out the boy before we have to do that song and dance again!" Using his position in the air to hopefully bypass any possible obstacles between himself and Ninten, Sombra fires a concussive golden beam at the boy.

Giygas overhears Teddy's words of encouragement.

He lets out a small grunt as he watches the fight unfold, then teleports in front of Ninten and uses Hypnosis α. A bolt of PSI streaks from his eyes and attempts to jump into Ninten's eyes. If Ninten looks at Giygas during the attack, he will instantly fall asleep.

Klug gets knocked on his rear. Nuisance Puyos fall down onto his stack.

He seems quick to work around that, though, and achieves a 3-chain of Puyo pops, absorbing magical energy from each pop.

"Fossa!"

With a point of his finger, he magnifies gravity in a point centered on Tokiko, causing the ground around her to sink in as he attempts to force her down.

"I'm glad to hear you have faith in me. I only managed to be here because I was freed a couple of days ago though.", Teddy admits.

Ninten falls for the bait, as he'd been ready to defend against the projectile, but is taken by surprise when it outright misses. This earns him a painful whack in the chest by the Chaos Mjolnir and gets sent flying against the wall.

   "Ung... ow..."   , he groans in pain from the impact. He snaps back to attention and sees Ryoma headed for him too, so he recovers from the slam and swings his bat, sending a wave of flames towards Ryoma.

Doing this gets him hit by Sombra's beam though, making him stagger. When Giegue appears in front of him, he almost gets affected by Hypnosis. Unfortunately, Ninten recognizes the danger and opens a 4th-D Slip portal behind him, letting himself fall in, and teleports to a spot more in the middle of the room.

Ana hops off of Sombra's back, landing safely on her feet, and after only a moment of hesitation, her psychic aura turns darker, and she sends a dark, swirling beam at Ninten. It hits him, and it doesn't do any damage. Instead, Ninten's pupils suddenly lose their color, including the shine from Galeem's influence, and he starts to move around a little oddly.

"What'd you do just now?", Lloyd asks, grabbing his air gun from his pocket so that he can fight on his own too.

"PK Darkness. It'll blind him for a little while.", she says, upon which both Lloyd and Teddy actually show her a shocked look.

"Li'l miss, that's a really good strategy but it's really not a good idea to do that to Ninten!"

"Huh? Why no-"

She seems to realize something, then looks extremely guilty.

"Oh... oh no, I didn't think about that! B-but it's okay, right? Ninten's under someone else's control right now."

The three turn to Ninten, as does Pippi when she hears something is apparently wrong, and Ninten actually appears to be really distressed by being unable to see, hyperventilating a little. Queen Mary, noticeably, is not reacting that way, and Ana looks troubled.

Ninten's asthma then kicks in, and he spends this turn grabbing his inhaler and puffing clean air into his lungs, even dropping his bat do get a hold of it.

"Guys, let's not lose our focus on the fight, Ninten isn't the only enemy.", Lloyd eventually breaks the silence between him and his homeworld friends. And how right he is, as Teddy gets smacked by a Flying Man, and answers in kind, delivering a more stronger one back. Pippi gets hit too, but her smaller body makes her less able to deal with the impact, and she falls on the ground.

One of the other Flying Men tries to deliver a powerful punch to her, and Lloyd barely saves her by shooting at the Flying Man with his air gun.

The two Kraken now both target Giygas, attempting to coil around him and then burn him alive with their fire breath.

Giygas bellows in fury.

He teleports above the twin Kraken and launches a PK Beam γ at one with each hand.

Turning his attention to the Flying Men, Pietro unleashes a Chaos Beam at them in a sweeping arc.

Ryoma is engulfed by the flames this time, causing him to slide back. When Ninten vanish, they all prepare to fight, but get disturbed by the subsequent events. While they know that he is "evil", attacking a sickly child is pretty reprehensible for them.

It does allow Ryoma to attack the Krakens, as Takumi toss three arrows. Two for some of the krakens, one for a flying man. Oboro assists against the latter enemy, going for a large horizontal sweep with her naginata.

Sombra, after returning to the ground, spends a moment to refresh his magical shields on everyone. Now that he is no longer holding the kraken nor having to shield himself from the dragon, these shields are back at full power and should be considerably effective for blocking attacks, especially from weaker enemies such as the Flying Men.

For a moment, Tokiko is forced down on one knee, but then...

"Not good enough. Nullify Gravity."

A violet aura surrounds Tokiko, allowing her to stand up like the pull of gravity didn't even exist. She then rushes towards Klug, a conjured magical weapon in hand that resembles a feather hieroglyph. Although it resembles a sword, it would deal pure force damage if it connects.

Both Kraken are struck by Giygas' PK Beams. One of them receives some big damage, trapped in the lingering explosion for a moment, while the other one actually outright dies, pulled back into Magicant.

The Flying Man who was fighting Teddy manages to evade Pietro's attack, but the other three near Pippi all get hit, with one of them dying and allowing Oboro to finish off one of the others. Naturally they both get pulled back into Magicant as well.

The trapped Kraken then gets hit by Ryoma's sword, letting Takumi's arrow finish the Kraken off. The last Flying Man near Pippi gets hit by an arrow too, barely hanging on, but being an easy target for the extremely strong girl, who punches it against the ceiling. Both are pulled back, as usual.

The final Flying Man, the one near Teddy, retreats a little to protectively stand near Ninten, who does start to feel better as Darkness wears off a little, allowing him to at least see some stuff again. As such he stops panicking and quickly grabs his bat again. He glances in Giygas' direction, seeing that he's fighting as well now, and considering that he only has one ally left, it's not hard for him to realize he's close to losing.

He has to turn the tides, and a dark, almost sadistic grin that's unfitting of both Ninten and Queen Mary, reveals that he has an idea on how to do that.

Still gripping onto his bat, he starts to dance and sing again. Only this time...

   "Take a melody... simple as can be...~"   

Ana, Lloyd and Teddy's expressions make it clear that they realize what Ninten is trying to do.

   "Give it some words, and... sweet harmony~"   

"Giygas! Cover your ears!", Ana calls out, hoping that she said it in time to make a difference.

However, should the melodies take effect before Ana's words reach him, Giygas should find that the song... won't really do much to him, even if his own feelings on said song are still the same as back when this song defeated him.

The Hoshidians stand here, having excepted an all-out attack of some sort. Steeling themselves, they attack Ninten together, with Takumi shooting from the backlines as Oboro and Ryoma proceed forward with their attacks !

Giygas stumbles back in shock for a moment, his eyelid twitching.

   Y-you...   

He pants as if exhausted, giving Ninten a dirty Kubrick Stare.

Then he draws his arms back and begins gathering power for another orb like the one he had used to repel the Flying Men earlier.

Klug ducks out of the way of the swing, continuing to stack Puyos.

"Won't be that easy."

Ironically, it's Sombra who is affected by the Melody, not because it harms him like it used to in the past, but he still seems to freeze and go into a trance at the mere sound of them.

"That song..." he whispers as tears start streaking down his cheeks and memories of his past as a tyrant come flowing back.

"I was certainly hoping it wouldn't be. Courage [Ibis Braves The Hurricane]."

A whirlwind kicks up around Tokiko, scattering a flurry of slicing feather-shaped wind projectiles around her. The amount of feathers is manageable at long range, but as close as Tokiko currently is to Klug, he stands little to no chance of dodging them unless he backs off significantly.

It should become clear to Klug that Tokiko is now mercilessly exploiting what she perceives to be his weakness. He seems to be drawing his power from accumulating these little blobs and arranging them into patterns. Logically, by keeping him on the defensive and forcing him to do things other than concentrating on his pattern - such as retreating from her attack lest he suffer an almost literal Death of a Thousand Cuts - she figures he won't be able to do almost anything.

Ninten appears confused and frustrated that Giygas, while upset, isn't showing him the results he expected. The Flying Man tries to defend Ninten, but with a quick hand movement, Ninten orders it to move aside.

As such, Takumi's arrows, Ryoma's slash and Oboro's strike all hit Ninten, who didn't put up a PSI Shield. What is he planning?

Ana, Lloyd, Teddy and Pippi don't attack, unsure as to what Ninten is trying to do here. He's been defending himself all this time and now he's just letting people hit him?

Lloyd then suggests a thought that occurs.

"Hey, wait... do you get that super attack faster if you get hurt?", he asks, causing the other three to look at him for a moment, then back at Ninten, hoping that this is not the case. Because if it is, and he gets to revive all of his allies again...

Meanwhile, the Flying Man still decides to go for Giygas though, considering him too great a threat.

Giygas charges up to max and stores the orb, taking evasive maneuvers away from the Flying Man.

   That's right... you know better than to taunt me with that song.   

Unfortunately for Tokiko, the Puyos don't stop falling when people are talking.

In the middle of her attack, Klug suddenly returns fire. "Tectonic!"

A barrage of rippling waves of invisible force erupt from Klug's open hand and fly in helix formation at Tokiko, creating Ground Waves where they reach the floor.

Yeah, but it won't come out if we finish him in time. he says. If he want to build it up, then he'll need to take hits. We'll just beat him before he can use it.

Yes, but he can perhaps attempts to charge it. says Ryoma. I'm going to try and finish this in one clean blow. Cover me.

Ryoma hangs back and focus, calmly holding up Raijinto with his two hands and taking a deep breath. Oboro prepares to resume her assault.

The discussion of tactics draws Sombra out of his temporary funk.

"Then we have to focus all of our strongest attacks at once, and take him out in a single blow," Sombra replies. "It won't matter if he has enough energy to use his ultimate move if he's knocked out. I can attempt to trap him in order to make it impossible for him to avoid the onslaught."

The Tectonic plows through the hurricane. Apparently its earth affiliation seems to override the wind-elemental feathers, and Tokiko gets buffeted by several of the blasts, having trouble avoiding them at this range. That said, there are so many feathers that some of them might get past Klug's defense.

Without giving him a moment of respite, Tokiko calls Ibis Sign [Flight Alabaster], charging at Klug again, a bird silhouette made of white flames forming around her to give her attack more width and power. This attack is similar in nature to a fiery version of Volt Tackle, and therefore capable of hitting several times. Once again Tokiko is attempting to force Klug on the move, disorienting and distracting him.

Ninten raises an eyebrow, then suddenly casts PK Life Up on himself with the smuggest look he's ever shown. Because talking about how to deal with him right in front of him is not a very good idea.

"Damn it all, I'm not sure if we can take him out fast enough now.", Teddy growls. He turns to Ana, who already seems to know what he's about to ask.

"I'm not using PK Fire Ω! It'll burn him to ashes!"

"Yeah, but if he defeats us, we can't save him at all."

"This place isn't part of the Arena! I don't know if death is permanent here! What if I use it and..."

Ana looks to be on the verge of tears, and Teddy sighs, then nods in understanding.

"Then we just have to throw everything we have at him and hope that it's enough. If only I still had a Multi-Bottle Rocket..."

"Why didn't you bring the giant red robot?", Pippi asks.

"EVE won't ever harm Ninten. She wouldn't have been of much help."

"Not even against his minions?"

"... I... well... yeah, but... I didn't know beforehand that..."

Beat

"E-everyone! Just throw everything you have at him!", he calls out, firing his air gun at Ninten. Ana casts Brainshock at Ninten, as that'll make him unable to focus, making it more likely that he won't be able to defend himself with PK Shield if he figures he's getting overwhelmed.

Teddy and Pippi, though it breaks the latter's heart, rush up to Ninten to deliver a powerful punch. Ninten, believing that he'll be able to take everything, lets the attacks hit him.

The Flying Man still tries to get to Giygas, and is currently flying in a spot where, if Giygas fires a big attack at Ninten, he might hit the Flying Man along with him.

Giygas releases his orb of PSI in the same "expanding Sphere of Destruction" manner as the last, trying to finish off the Flying Man charging at him. If the attack hits, it will deal enough damage to grant Giygas, who is based on a hypothetical Smash Bros. incarnation of himself, access to his Final Smash.

Klug gets blown back by Tokiko. Nuisance Puyos fill his stack.

He finally starts actually trying to evade, by strafing around the battle area.

Ryoma activates Astra and attack five times as fast, managing to crit about three times. He ends with a large, sweeping sword attack. Oboro pick up the slack with a series of stab, followed by an attempted slash-jump-backflip, allowing Takumi's arrows to pass below her as they attempt to crash into Ninten.
