There theoretically could be a card like that. I know Burden of the Mighty, but it's a Spell card.

Where there's life, there's hope. No, in the manga, Obelisk was targeted directly the card. But then again, manga rules work differently than anime and real life rules.
Yeah, a lot of the weird anime rules were there because it was like that in the manga. Duelist Kingdom was more like an RPG using cards, but Battle City had weirdness too.
One advantage GX's duels had was that they were fully based on the card game and the anime came first.
The Protomen enhanced my life. So, how do you think Yugi's cards would look if Summoned Skull was treated as his signature monster?
Wake me up at your own risk. What do you mean?
In universe and out all Dark Magician support would become Summoned Skull support instead.
I mean, the Dark Magician must be one of the cards with the most supports in the game. Just wanted to know how it would change if the Skull was given that kind of backing. I imagine at least one Cute Monster Girl.
Bets on how they'd play?

Wake me up at your own risk.Summoned Skull Girl would be the franchise's primary sex symbol.
Yami would be the lord of Egyptian demons.
Archfiend as a whole would be much stronger than Dark Magician today, and Red Dragon Archfiend would be a Yugi nostalgia support.

Where there's life, there's hope. It's not a hard thing to figure out for yourself.
Which would make Jack run Yugi.dek for 5Ds and Arc-V. Which might chnage the dynamics a bit.
Oh and Neos would take 1 less tribute to summon, making the deck that much less crap.
Why do you say that?
The fist part was responding with the iea of RDA being Yugi support in the hypoethical scenario of Summoned Skull being Yugi and Atem's ace.
The 1 tribute Neos was a different byproduct that comes from Summoned Skull being Level 6. The result being that Neos decks wouldn't minus as much compared to if Neos was Level 7. But it mightnot stillbe enoughtto make the deck playable at release (hence why I said "that much less crap," not "not crap")

Oh hey, Yami Yugi is a playable character in Jump Force, just like in other Jump crossover games that never came out in the US!

The Protomen enhanced my life. You just now found out?
Yep! I found out cause someone posted in ATT about the Jump Force page and the name sounded like the other Jump games.
The Protomen enhanced my life.Does anyone find Jonouchi's "brooklyn" accent in the dub to be kind of dumb these days?
Many things about 4kids dubs tend to be. His accent is one of the few things they did that became somewhat charming instead.

I was alright with when I was younger, but now I just find it cringe worthy. Personally, I think it just adds Narm to any emotional speech he gives.
If I watched it for the first time today I might hate the accents. But I grew up with YGO. Nostalgia is strong. Also I still think the dub does a lot of cool things so together I'm okay with Joey.
Pegasus will always be the best though. His voice-acting was perfection.
Keeping Pegasus alive was absolutely a case of superlative adaptation.
I'm fine with Pegasus dying, since it adds to the tragedy of the character. But I will agree that his voice was great.
I'm honestly mixed on Dan Green's performance as Atem. On one hand, the voice itself is great. On the other, it's way too deep for a character who is supposed to be a teenager (remember that Atem died at 15, which is younger than Yugi's age at the start, which is 16).
I thought Atem was older than Yugi.
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.Anyone kind of feel like Jonouchi's skill as a duelist doesn't really get tested often since most of the time he duels against cheaters?
I disagree. I actual think it shows how good he is that he's able to win despite several of his opponents cheating in ways that disadvantage him.
So I was watching the final duel of Yugi And Atem and one scene stuck out to me. Yugi used a trap card to reduce Obelisk the Tormentor's Atack points and Atem said such traps dont work on Obelisk. But Yugi said the card works on THE FIELD and thus it did reduce its atack. Was that the usal anime bullshit or was that in the manga and or is legal in the cardgame'
