Does Enter have millennial pride? ... I never heard or read him talking about that.
I am probably most interested in his review of Pickle Rick. I read one reviewer say it's the worst episode of the show because the therapy speech was boring and pointless.
I honestly think Pickle Rick is one of the best episodes of Season 3 because of how it made fun of action movies as well as the therapy scenes. I still think several months after the end of the season that people hate it because they hate the meme.
It's been 3000 years…Mr. Enter looks back on Season 5.
An open mind and compassionate heart are among the most important qualities we can have.I don't think Enter has millennial pride but I suspect he wouldn't find the Millennial joke stuff funny because it's been made into an cliche stereotype hundred times over already.
Guess the Loud House Admirable probably isn't happening.
Crowd funding campaign for Growing Around!
Pieguyrulz did a video on the funding, and unlike Butch Hartman, Mr. Enter listened to Pieguy's criticism.
Watching the video, I can understand some of his decisions regarding the campaign a bit better, but the fact remains that this never had a chance. Enter just isn't popular enough or someone who commands enough trust or excitement to raise that kind of money.
And honestly, I really have become tired of the guy.
I don't like using the term "Snowflake" but he has become the closest to the definition of such a person. I'm sympathetic of his personal life, but his extreme reactions to not just trolls, but people that try to give him legit criticism makes hard for me to support him.
Watch SymphogearSo what's the point in being an public critic if you can't handle random people criticising you?

You know, as unlikely as it is for this project to get fully funded, the fact that he was able to get over 5 grand funded in about a day is rather impressive for a small time youtuber. Also, as mentioned above, Enter did take criticisms, concerns and skepticisms about the project seriously. At least, seriously enough to make an update video and edit the indiegogo page itself to address the issues people have with it.
At least he was going with his semi original (if not something I ever want to see) premise instead of his rather blatant F is for Family rip-off.
That being said, Enter is not a name that really commands respect, or a desire to see original projects. He doesn’t have a chance.
The only thing this campaign was ever realistically going to do was raise awareness of the project. Which, in my opinion, failed crowdfunds are kind of bad press.
And yeah, not to keep being a Debbie Downer but I've never understood why he thought the premise for Growing Around was particularly interesting.

Growing Around may be dumb and uninteresting, but at least it’s original. His other idea, Alone Together, is F is for Family except instead of Bill Burr writing it and drawing upon his actual childhood, it’s Mr. Enter drawing upon his dislike of adult animation.
He got the Growing Around idea from the Shorty Mcshort's Shorts Flip-flopped. I don't think he even knew about F is for Family when coming up with Alone Together.
Also, here's Flip-Flopped. It's similar, but different:
(I wonder what would happen if Enter went with Too Many Robots instead, the other idea he saw the most potential in.)
So then neither idea is original.
Honestly, here’s my question, what makes him think he can get these ideas off the ground, through crowdfunding no less?
There's nothing new under the sun, but I doubt he knew about F is for Family in any way other than "a property with that name exists" when writing the Alone Together scripts. (Last I checked he has mixed feelings on Alone Together.)
TBH Alone Together from what I gathered felt more like a... less cynical (and yet, in some ways, less reflective/satirical) version of Moral Orel with the religious bent taken out and essentially combining Bloberta and Clay into one parental figure in the Sitcom Mom character. Enter even mentioned Moral Orel as a point of comparison in his pitch piece.
But yeah, Moral Orel and F Is For Family already exist and have much more unique and specific bents to them than just "I don't want to make a Typical Adult Animated Cartoon" and outside of the subversion of "The mom is a reprehensible abusive and manipulative monster who games the system against her kind and loving husband that people just think is a Homer Simpson archetype", I don't really see much meat you could get out of it's premise without a unique framing device
(Plus there is a lot of ways that that the Mother Character's depiction could go... very badly)

Basically, the Growing Around Indiegogo is nearing its end far from its stated mark. However, Mr. Enter doesn't consider it a "failure" (Mighty No. 9 can be considered a failure despite making four times its goal), having garnered $10,000 from 266 supporters, and feels confident that Growing Around will find its way through another medium.
An open mind and compassionate heart are among the most important qualities we can have.Mighty No. 9 was a Pyrrhic Victory.
The review of The Adventures of Kid Danger is up.
Looking back on the "upcoming Atrocities" list, I also think that Pickle Rick doesn't deserve a beating.
The only bad thing about it was the meme for me.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Haven't watched Rick and Morty so I wouldn't know
My guess is that Enter didn't like it making fun of Millennials, but I found it hilarious.
