...How did we go from talking about why everyone seems to be chickening out of the side plot to fooling about over waifus?

Despite having little to no stake in the side plot, I'm in the boat of people that are mad about all the characters trying to bail on the side plot.

YOU MADE THE FUCKING BOAT. NOW RIDE IN IT.

It's a pretty NICE BOAT, after all.

I would like to point out to everyone that I voted for this side-plot and Medus has wholly embraced it. The rest of you should be ashamed for chickening out

I didn't vote for this side plot, but I'll get Pius dragged into it now that it's the thing. He resists because that's what Pius would do; he knows he's got better stuff to do than suck up to some silly tradition, and he's not anywhere near comfortable handling panties when its unrelated to laundry work.

He'll probably wake up and try to keep up with the others to make sure they don't do anything too crazy, and he'll somehow end up with someone's panties in his hands.

...I'll say it again, shane — I want to do the subplot, but I'm not sure how to make Lucas willingly do it without breaking character.

Have something catastrophic happen, so he kinda gets forced into joining in?

Suggestion: Have him try stopping the others or making sure they don't go too far. Or what Troy said.

Wait, are we seriously going with the idea that most of these characters can dodge bullets? o_O;

Well, the trailers show Yang dodging rifle fire, and Blake is deflecting bullets while running at the shooter. So yes, this kind of power isn't outside the characters' capability if you chose so.

... dude, did you watch the Black trailer? Blake and Adam dance around bullets. Blake can deflect gatling gun fire from mid-range... with a machete. Let's not even talk about the Yellow trailer either, because then we get into Junior's girls deflecting the projectiles from Yang's shotgun at point blank range, in the middle of a melee-style brawl... with their feet. That's kickboxing at a couple dozen mach, easily.

Beacon Hunters and Huntresses treat bullets like Annoying Arrows. Hence why almost everything doubles as a melee weapon

Hence why I 'm wondering if Calypso should reinforce the Furies to be used as tonfas... because clearly even hypersonic flechette rounds are going to be completely useless against any experienced Hunter
