I had many more than two added. The limit was mainly to keep it from becoming too much work to keep up with when it was popular.
At this point, they're probably not going to add anymore, since it seems that the next step is to replace the list with a box to fill in yourself.

Anyway, so this unpopular feature. Has removing it been added to the wishlist yet? Has making it a customisable field been added to the wishlist yet? Has making it independently deactivateable been added to the wishlist yet? Has making it seasonally replaced by other stuff been added to the wishlist yet? For this last one, I would use Relationship Status for the spring, species for the fall, wishlist for the winter, and just status for the summer.
I think this calls for a crowner.
Seems like the best plan is to convert the relationship line into something you can just make up in your own profile. Also, make it so the label "relationship status" can be whatever the troper would like.
