Oh, that's an excellent idea! :) Mind if I possibly use it? I'm also torn on whether she'd be affiliated with Prince John or fighting against him (possibly with Robin and co.)... since I doubt she'd stand for the horrible acts that John enforces, such as taxing the poor. I only just got to Disc 2 on IX, but I've got some time before I actually get to the Robin Hood world, so I'll definitely mull it over so I can figure out how to involve her. I'm just loving IX so much that I really want to incorporate some of its characters.
I also had the random thought of Red XIII possibly being among Xehanort's specimens in Radiant Garden. After all, why limit their studies to humans? I'd have to revisit VII since it's been a while, but I know he was used as one of Hojo's lab rats for a while in the original game.

Red XIII as one of the Norts' test subjects would be fitting. And yeah, of course you can use the idea. All I ask is to get credited in an author's note for it. And yeah, if Freya was in the same world as Prince John, she would definitely see that His Royal Posterior got a grade-A asskicking.

It is set in Lord Cavendish's verse, he's an older writer with a 'verse to his fanfics. He let me write in it, hence, I try to write my best quality when writing this fanfic.
The plot goes that its many years after the end of the last dregs of The Empire, and we then see that someone emerged from a rather obscure Chekovs Gun, and is now acting to an obscure end.

Another thought crossed my mind from playing IX. What if Black Mages were made from darkness rather than mist in the KH-verse? Same with black waltzes.
Vivi kinda presents a tricky area because his role in Twilight Town suggests he's an ordinary kid, but I find the concept of black mages is just so fascinating that I'd love to incorporate it in my planned BBS AU story, if not Antipode. I even had this thought of having Kuja in league with Maleficent similar to his alliance with the queen in IX. Since I'm still only on disc 2, idk how feasible it is, but it's something I got time to brainstorm since I won't be writing the BBS AU for a while.
Zidane presents a bit of a predicament as well. If I have him as a native to the Tangled world, I'll either have to ignore his tail or... probably ditch it, which is too bad because it's a cute design feature, but doesn't make all that much sense in the world established within Tangled.

What if he tried to rob a magician, and they gave him the tail as a curse? I mean, it's not much of a curse, really, but maybe the magician wasn't very clever.
I haven't read Antipode yet, but I've seen it around. I'll have to take a look sometime.
For the record, my current project is called Distant Hearts. It's a crossover between KH and Fullmetal Alchemist (manga/Brotherhood-verse). Been working on it for about three years because I can't keep a schedule to save my life. It's been very well-received so far, which has been a pleasant surprise. I wasn't sure what people would think.

and AO3. Like I said, I update very slowly, but it's not dead. Actually, it's almost done - I only have two chapters left to write after my current one, counting the epilogue.

I've been thinking what Crazy Prepared Badass Normal tactics can do to other combatants in a High Magic setting like Kingdom Hearts.
For example. Haste (Time magic spell that grants super speed by increasing the speed of the target's time) + Razor Floss = Self making chunky salsa.
Making my own weapons? Check. A grenade launcher with scatter-shot rounds? Yes. A machine pistol that's easy to use? Check. A laser rifle that can switch betweeb shotgun and sniper rifle? Check.

Those tropes are pretty much Batman-tropified. So, ask yourself, how might Batman take down Sora or some other Shonenish powered character?
Anyway, I'm not really sure what to do with my Sonic/Kingdom Hearts X Over. The way I would write Sonic, I would much rather do a comic for, and I can't draw for shit. (I think.) Would a sprite comic suck? I guess I'd have to find a lot of custom sprites or make my own...
I'll probably try to do the Fix Fic thing and the original story at some point, but I kind of want to do a post-3D continuation fic. I'd probably play it by ear, but I have some decent ideas for it, and I'd likely write pretty far ahead. It would be Jossed pretty quickly, because we don't know much about the Lost Masters or the Keyblade of People's Hearts, but I don't want to use them anyway. I mean, more Macguffins? Really?
I'd try to make it a decent read even after KH 3 is realeased. I've got ideas for bringing back everyone except for Roxas, Namine, and kind of Terra. Not sure what to do with the Nobodies, and I guess Terra could be just fixed after the Seekers are finished.
And, like I said before, kind of take everything I say with a grain of salt, because I'm a terrible procrastinator and have been kinda busy lately. I do really want to do this stuff, though.

Nope. That was the Keyblade of Heart, IIRC. This one's new, and apparantly the driving force for whatever SDG are going to do for the most part, presuming the synopsis of KH 3 we got is correct.
Edit: Whoops, apparantly the new special blade is called the the "Key to Return Hearts". My bad.

So, for my fanfic, I am thinking of having Teen Loki, Doctor Doom, and Selene join Wolfang's "Excitement" Plan.
- Teen Loki says he's doing it so he can get at Thor, and acts like his evil older self. The truth is, however, that he's a Reverse Mole, and has decided to watch Wolfang. However, Wolfang secretly knows about this and permits it, to further another plan...
- Doctor Doom wants to obtain the means to make Latveria expand on his homeworld, and make it so that the heroes cannot oppose him any longer.
- Selene wants to become a Goddess, and I decided to include her erstwhile "boyfriend" Wither as well. She also grows fascinated with the state Wolfang's putting the 'verse into.
- Other Info:
- It is also revealed that Wolfang personally tutored Hans - resulting in a much more climactic battle during the Frozen Segment of the Fanfic - you remember that fanon of Hans and fire abilities, right?
- A Deadly Upgrade using Sora fights Perseus Sarasho at one point.

Well, Keyblades give you an additional ability when you equip them in the second game, so make of that what you will.

In-universe, so the self-insert can try to make up for his lack of magic and be Crazy-Prepared as he's well aware what war is like and thus is Properly Paranoid. Out-of-universe, so I can have a variety of fights.

Funnels? Psycoframes? Moonlight Butterfly?

Miniturized funnels are in use, but I haven't considered Psychoframes. I'm NOT using any Turn A techology as it's OP as fuck.
I'll give you the full rundown of how powerful the SI will become (And no, Sora, Riku and Kairi will still be stronger):
Physical Strength: His strength is constantly being enhanced by the nano-machines in his body and the armor (more on that later) that enhances his strength even futher giving him super strength and letting him drop steamrollers with ease. The nano-machines also massage his muscles giving enhanced reflexes. This, combined with his [[Series//Gundam Newtype]] powers makes him untouchable. Though, the Stop/Slow spell family and the Quick spell would make his reflexes and Newtype powers moot. Thanks to his training with Yang (Final Fantasy IV) he can fight with his bare hands and is a master of using chi(Charlie Atlas Superpowers given an actual explaination).
His attainment and eventual mastery of the [[Manga//Jojo'sBizzareAdventure Ripple]] makes him even more deadly in a fist fight though he would rather rely on guns and attack drones. However, due to the nature of the Ripple, it's easily disruptable if he gets his air knocked out of him, can't breathe, loses too much blood, ect. As such he hardly relies it. Since most of his most of his weapons are laser based, and thus don't have a physical conduit so fist and feet only.
Magical Strength: He can't use magic at all. He can 'hear' (read: Newtype powers tingling) magic before the spell can be casted. And the Fin Funnels can reflect magic.
Equipment: Well...
Attack Drones: With the Newtype powers and Gadgeteer Genius skills at his disposal, he made five types of Attack Drones. Due to their nature, they run on batteries.
SR (Shooter) Fangs: Exactly what it says on the tin. Used in tandem with the Slasher fangs.
SS (Slasher) Fangs: Forms a red energy blade to slash the enemy. Used in tandem with the Shooter fangs.
SC (Scouter) Fangs: Does not have any offensive abilities but is used for reconnaissance.
EX (Explosion) Fangs: A Fang that has a powerful explosive inside of it. Is in limited quantity due to the explosives.
Fin Funnel: An attack drone that blocks laser attacks and later magic attacks.

GM Strike/Impulse: A human sized psychic controlled robot. At first used as suprise attack but then used in actual stratagies once he makes more. Each one has an Aile, Launcher and Sword Striker. Once remodeled they can use the Force, Sword and Blast Silhouettes. Due to the complex nature of these machines, the SI builds GN Drives to power them.

Since the SI can't use magic that means he gets to make his own. And he gets to base it of Gundams. Official or fanmade.
The choices are:
F91-> V-Dash Gundam Hexa -> V2 Assault Buster
Exia -> 00Raiser -> 00 Qan [T]
Strike -> Impulse -> Arch Destiny (Made by Wacky Modder 84 and The Anime Overviewer)
(Note: He's only going to choose one line of armor.)
I was thinking of giving him a miniture version of the Cherudim Gundam's sniper rifle and a modded version of the Schwert Gewehr to be a bigger and beefier Excalibur.

Thank you for the suggestions. :D I'll definitely see if I can squeeze those characters in. Ngl, the idea of slipping in a Vaan, Balthier, and Fran cameo in the TP world is very tempting.
And realization just hit me. Freya may not work as well as I had hoped for the Robin Hood world due to her being a woman and Robin Hood being set in medieval England. You think she'd work all right in Disney Castle instead? I kinda dig the idea of her serving King Mickey, since Bermecia is a monarchy.
