Nick's willing to acknowledge Ren and Stimpy now, at least. If there's voice work in this game, can they get Billy West back?
"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."https://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/video-games/Nicktoons-MLB/
I'd say they'd most likely be voiced by Chris Edgerly and Eric Bauza like in this game.
x2: Nick's been willing to acknowledge Ren and Stimpy in terms of merchandise for a long while, usually as apart of their "90s Nick" content. It's only if new content has John Kricfalusi directly attached that'll have cold feet (the scrapped Sponge Out of Water tie-in short, for example).
Also, trailer:
That never made it, period, though.
"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."So going by that trailer so far, it looks like they've added:
- Ren & Stimpy (as we knew already)
- Chuckie
- Rocko and Heffer
- Gerald
- CatDog (saw Cat's icon on the track overlay in one shot)
- Squidward
- Zim and GIR
- Danny Phantom
- Aang
- Korra
- Lincoln, Lucy, and Clyde
- And Jojo Siwa
And whatever the character icons up in the corner are for at least probably means that there may be a lot of cameos. Looks like it will indeed be a much beefier roster than the first game's.
Just caught that, yeah.

"Pardon me, that extremely loud and extremely deep voice you may have just heard. It was me. Oh, it is such a long story..."Also Danny Phantom. Check out 0:16, the racer at the very right.
"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."What's Jojo's show, anyway?
Wake me up at your own risk.Apparently, she's from Dance Moms.

Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.Warning! Politics have invaded Preschool Show discussions.
https://people.com/parents/paw-patrol-backlash-twitter-racism-police-brutality/
Due to Chase being seen positively as a cop. Paw Patrol's Twitter decided to have time for silence amid the current situation. People have praised and derided this political move because it was made. I will not say which side I am on as this is a Nickelodeon chat not a political one but whether you are right or left I believe this thing with Paw Patrol is stupid.
The whole "Paw Patrol is copaganda thing" has been around for a while, I'm just surprised Nickelodeon actually did anything about it.
Geez.
Wake me up at your own risk....I literally never heard of Jojo Siwa until today. I thought she's someone on YouTube, but apparently she was from Dance Moms?
Does she have any association with Nick? Or racing? Say what you will about Danica Patrick being in Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed, but at least she's a racer, ergo making it somewhat justifiable.
Tell you what, if this game eventually has Five and Miko as racers, then I'll consider giving it my curiosity.

Jojo Siwa has her own Nickelodeon webseries, which is a semi big connection.
What bad things even happen on Paw Patrol? It's just a preschool show that happens to have a cop as the main character, right?
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy. From my own experiences with Paw Patrol as my little brothers watched it on occasion....Paw Patrol is ridiculously boring. The only thing I remember is the cop dog is named Chase and that one of the other dogs is a firefighter and another is a construction worker I think? Paw patrol as a show is so forgettable that I literally can't remember most of the characters names.
Their might be more too the the copganda stuff then just Chase existing, I don't remember any of the plots of the show. Current events have turned a lot of people on cops, hell LEGO removed their cop minifigs, so it likely started from that. I don't recall any other Nick shows that portrayed cops favorably so perhaps thats why Paw Patrol is being singled out?
Okay...it's a fair enough connection.
Still bizarre, though. Before I found out her name, I almost thought she was some super-rebooted version of Barbie. Or Polly Pocket.

Paw Patrol is just your average "bunch of preschool superheroes rescue people from harmless danger, sort out weird and silly shenanigans, etc," except the preschoolers in this case are dogs.
Chase is more of a rescue worker who wears a cop hat than an actual police officer, so there's really nothing to making him a target.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.People attacking Paw petrol are idiots of the highest calibur, they are start going after Zootopia next because Judy is a Cop too?
New theme music also a boxIt looks like Nickelodeon has revealed that Sponge Bob is gay[1]
Given the plot of Zootopia, surprising that they haven't with all the outrage.
Good to know, but wait until they touch the subject in the series.

Wake me up at your own risk.Given that Zootopia is literally about combating prejudice and privilege, it's doubtful it's going to get much scrutiny even from the most reactionary of voices.
But Paw Patrol is, definitely, just a victim of people being reactionary. That said, I would hardly be surprised if the actual backlash against the show was miniscule and the media was just blowing it out of proportion.
That actually happened with Zootopia itself when it first came out, where one or two fan reviews claiming Zootopia didn't go far enough to address prejudice were reported as if it were a movement against the film, resulting in a massive and disappointing backlash from the fandom against connecting the film to prejudice at all (despite it being the point of the film), which itself ironically got rather racist.
So let's temper our reaction to it, is what I'm saying.

Actually he's asexual (according to Hillenberg), since Aces are considered apart of the LGBT community they are put in there.

Just a legit question: why is asexuality considered to be part of the LGBT spectrum? Is it just because it's not heterosexual?
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.Lmao. I don't think they're saying he's gay, just that he's an "ally" or something. Or maybe they just painted him rainbow 'cause he's the mascot.
"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."
If nothing else, it sounds like it'll at least have a much better roster than the first game.
