Do we need this page if all the most important characters already have listings on Characters.Barbie?

I think their portrayals here are different from the toy line, so I say keep. They have tropes such as: Parody Sue, Adorkable, Camp Straight, The Ditz, and Ineffectual Sympathetic Villain. These are not the same tropes as on Characters.Barbie. It seems limited, but that is likely due to The Wiki Rule. The page is also still new.

Also, if this is on You Tube, it should be under Web Animation, not Western Animation.

I noticed that that page consists entirely of Zero Context Examples. Then again, a lot of character pages do that. Shame.

While the characters may be themselves the same, characterization and certain details of the story warrant keeping the character page as its own.

[up][up]I thought the same ever since I first found the article, but I thought I needed someone else's opinion before moving it to a Web Animation namespace.

If I find tropes that apply to both the normal and LITD versions of Barbie characters, where do I put them? That seems like the case for a lot of the tropes already recorded.

As far as I remember, Barbie movies tend to have different characterizations from each other. Yes, the page is very lean, but it should exist separately, even if it's not making use of it.

Characters.Barbie has plenty of tropes that apply to both the normal and Life in the Dreamhouse versions of Barbie characters. Do I need to copy and paste them onto the LITD sheet?

Only if they appear in this work. For example, Hot Scientist wouldn't be here if she's not a scientist in the show, nor Why Do You Keep Changing Jobs? if she doesn't change jobs. There can be plenty of overlap, but don't copy and paste the entire thing. Use common sense. This page needs more tropes, and the tropes need to be described.

I started adding some descriptions, as well as some relevant tropes from the main character sheet. Regarding the tropes I can't write descriptions for, would it make more sense to change this discussion to one about Unclear Descriptions, or to lock this up and link to the sheet from Needs Wiki Magic Love?

TRS isn't really for fleshing out character sheets. Tag it to there, but we might also have some forums hanging around to help. I wouldn't get too terribly concerned over the page. The best thing you can do for it is crosswick—find appropriate tropes and add it as an example. It will lead to people finding it and adding more tropes.

This matter is better handled on the article discussion. Locking.
