I also kinda liked in Into The Woods where Cinderella literally decides not to decide. The shoe getting left behind is her putting the ball in his court and seeing what he'll do with it.
There's an argument to be made about agency; if she has agency still or if removing your agency to give to others is still agency, but I still think its a fascinating take on the character, especially given her explanation through the full song.
In so far as agency goes, that's the thing about pursuing any kind of potential relationship: it's never entirely up to one person, or the other.
You can choose a ready guide in some celestial voice If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice

Kinda what I was getting at. Choosing to rescind a choice is still the privlidge to do so.
If thats the right choice to be making in Cinderella's position or if its selfish or not is another matter.
So, it's May 7, and this means that Wander over Yonder is now on Disney Plus.
Even then, it's not listed with the "New to Disney+". I had to use the search. Why am I not surprised...
Edit: Well, it shows up now. Maybe in this case it was an honest mistake.

SoundCloudBased on this schedule, I'm guessing the Disney Junior block will once again shorten during summer. There's no other reason to have TOTS at 8:00am on June 18 and Puppy Dog Pals at 8:30am on June 11 unless it's the shortened summer schedule.

Muppets Haunted Mansion Special coming this Fall.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Pepe can't catch a break…
I was wondering why it's not Rizzo in that ad with Gonzo until I remembered Steve Whitmire voiced Rizzo...
I hope the Hatbox Ghost is in this.
With all the memes about women choosing a bear over a man, Hollywood might wanna get on an 'East of the Sun and West of the Moon' adaptationI find it odd that they took until now to do a Muppet Halloween special since scary puppets aren’t exactly a novel concept.
It's been 3000 years…I think they tried to do Muppet Halloween specials dating back to the 1970s with one from the late 1990s being Muppets' Haunted House.
More on that is highlighted here: https://muppet.fandom.com/wiki/Untitled_Muppet_Halloween_Specials
So which Mickey and Friends show did a better job with the crossover stuff? Ducktales 2017 with Disney Afternoon or House of Mouse with the animated Disney movies and why?
House of Mouse, because they weren't saddled with trying to reconcile lore.
Because when you try to explain how all these different worlds fit together, you get things like beastly wuzzles for some reason.
House of Mouse, for the virtue of being respectful and not assassinating the tones and spirits of the shows and movies that it was crossing over with.

I never watched any of the Disney Afternoon shows so I wouldn't really know, but even so, I still think House of Mouse probably handled the crossovers better by virtue of it having more time with the characters it crossed over.
Trust you? The only person I can trust is myself.House of Mouse was very much a light hearted take on the Disney films. Chernabog and Zeus played darts with lightning bolts and Chernabog is afraid of the Dark.
This. Most of the "crossovers" are pretty much one-off gags, and the best done ones are those with appropiate tones to the movies (which is why Hades works flawlessly there, he's 100% fitting in the jokey ambient of House of Mouse). Whereas Chernabog's fun, but not movie-accurate.
"Bingo! If two species hate each other, they will wipe each other out on their own."Alright then.
If not the tones, then at least House of Mouse doesn't assassinate what people love about the source materials, which is still keeping the spirits of said source materials intact.
Also, with the way it's done, at least House of Mouse can tell fun, wholesome, earnest stories with its Animated Actors concept without denigrating any characters.
I can't say the same for DuckTales (2017) and its wildly inconsistent tone.
It's telling that people wanted to see more crossovers from House of Mouse while DuckTales (2017) made a number of fans angry with its crossovers.

Eh, how many "Fans" actually complained beyond this board (which is chock-full of pessimism, TBH)? So far, the worst I saw online was people finding the TaleSpin crossover to be eh (which was also my opinion). But the other ones weren't exactly hated (Darkwing one was actually pretty well-received all-around, the Dale/Chip one was rather well for a small time and little usage they could have, and people everywhere loved the Goof Troop references for being quite honestly heartwarming).
I really saw little of this "Assassination" you're mentioning. Hell, barely any of the shows were more "serious" than what Ducktales depicted. The TaleSpin one did border on that, but I mentioned that I found that one to be straight-up bad myself so I guess that explains why :P.
I think you're just dragging DT 2017 around to bash it for the sake of bashing it. AKA: Complaining

"Bingo! If two species hate each other, they will wipe each other out on their own."I remember one House of Mouse episode had Pain and Panic oust Jiminy Cricket as Pinocchio's conscience to make him do bad things.
The Protomen enhanced my life.Primarily here (which should be noted is a devoted forum for fans of the Disney Ducks): https://featherysociety.proboards.com/thread/31/ducktales-2017?page=186
And to a lesser extent, here: https://animesuperhero.com/forums/threads/ducktales-2017-series-talkback-spoilers.5441471/page-149
(Both links go to the latest pages on their forums. Go back through them.)
If you're approaching the show with a clean slate mentality, I can see what you mean.
But even so, without having to draw comparisons to previous versions of the characters, nearly everything and everyone is a lot more needlessly mean-spirited and nihilistic in the 2017 incarnation.
No more than you like to take shots at Cars 2 and the original Frozen from time to time.
Besides, me "dragging around DT 2017" would be me going back to the thread designated for it specifically and picking up the argument there, but I don't do that anymore.
This is the thread that invites discussions (and criticisms) about anything Disney, and the fact is that someone asked for other people's opinions about the show a short while ago.
