Maybe if you have so little confidence in your story that you have to constantly reassure fans it will turn out fine, you have a problem.

It may also be that he knows some fans aren't very trusting of him, and he doesn't want them to bail out before he gets to the meat of his story.

Well in today's Action Comics, Lois is seen at the end of the issue writing an expose on her entire marriage so I can understand the need for good P.R

Superman#2 had pretty art, but this is the "trade writing" portion kicking in on a Bendis run. Fudge all happens. Nuclear Man appears for a few pages, described as a "terrible Kryptonian secret" and is then killed by Rogul Zarr. The artist forgot Barry's hair colour and drew him like Wally West, and Bendis seemed to write him like Wally too before he had Barry say he "forgot which Flash I was". Batman contacts Superman to tell him he's got a bowel movement. I AM NOT KIDDING

So Clark Now knows Lois is back and meets up with her in AC#1002. That's...interesting, we still have two more issues before the big talk in 1004 so I wonder how this plays out?

Golden Age super man is lawful good while according to Superdickery pre Crisis super is chaotic evil

Golden Age Superman smashed a dude's car and threatened multiple crooks with death. Chaotic Good suits him better.

Golden age Superman... was very much more brutish and thuggish

Action Comics#1004 will continue the story and will be a celebration of their love, Lois realises she and Clark are not a traditional couple and she decides to do something about that. Bendis also reveals that Lois is keeping secrets of the DC Universe from Clark not because she doesn't trust him, but because she thinks they're too dangerous for him to know

Adventures of the Supersons#2 came out this week too

Boy is that pint-sized Lex an absolute monster, killing Joker Jr's parents just to upscale himself in badassery. I do wonder just where Clark is if Jon lead the gang into the fortress to take the cube. I know they're "out of town" but surely the battle between the supersons and gang would have been picked up on the news feeds? Just feels like a bit of a stretch. And Superboy Red/Superboy blue was a most unexpected cliffhanger.
