Seems like a good idea to me.
I'll holler to get this moved to Long Term Efforts, though, since it will see more attention than in Trope Talk.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanSounds good. I forgot about that forum section, but it'll be nice if the mods agrees that it's worth being a long-term project.
Agreed; it's moved to Long Term.

In Take a Third Option, in the webcomic's section, there is supposed to be a link to the page's image. It's a comic from Personality Test. The bad link is http://www.chickennation.com/comics/archive/personality-quiz/

Maybe we should retitle this thread something on the order of "Broken External Links" ?
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.Yeah... the title seems like this thread is about redirect farming, not fixing broken links.
On a more on-topic note, the AwesomeMusic.Anime pages need a lot of fixing, since the opening and ending theme links rarely last long.
Agree with @8.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIf I see any such links, what should I do? GO here, and/or delete the link?
Go here.

Found a link on this trope that connects with a audio file that I must download. What's wrong with a video?

List it here AND Move the dead link to the discussion page with a note that it should not be restored to the main page unless the link is live, please.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.The "moments"(Tear Jerker, Funny, Awesome, ect) pages for ML Ps non-canon stuff is littered with them, mostly due to people linking to copies on image boards instead of more static copies on places like DA. Someone that knows what all the entries are referring to should get in there and try to fix it.
Courtesy link. (The relevant pages are at the bottom of the index.)

Sorry, I didn't even know where to begin linking on this one because the whole family of pages is screwed right now.
Fun, I'll start working on it.
Godspeed and good luck.
Tearjerker: Other: The Onion, Ravages Of Time, Tower Of God, Television Channels and Other it self
Tearjerker: Real Life
are fixed. Moving on to the others.
Of the sub categories in Tear Jerker Western Animation, all the "A", "B", and "C" categories have been fixed.

Here is one dead link from The Woman in White:
The musical adaptation provides examples of:
- Adaptational Attractiveness: Marian. Good GOD, Marian. In the book, she's described as being ugly and masculine. In the musical, she's this◊. The tradeoff, however, is that she's still considered undesirable, except this time it's due to being a Christmas Cake in her late thirties rather than young and ugly.
Adding Adaptational Attractiveness as a whole to the thread, here's a few I pulled that need either fixed, or re-written to remove the borken links:
- While Princess Peach is now depicted as looking like this◊, her sprite from the original Super Mario Bros. game, on the other hand, actually looked like this◊. Though her official art looks the same◊ since she debuted, so this is more due to hardware limitations.
- Inverted with the Dic cartoons. Peach is still pretty, but not to the length of the games.
- Pauline originally was a blond girl with '80s Hair, and while she was pretty she looked quite (and understandably) distressed. By the Game Boy remake of Donkey Kong, she had been completely revamped.
- Remake Adaptational Attractiveness happens in many Pokémon games. Blue◊ and Red◊ go from young boys to adorable Bishōnen's come their◊ remakes◊, upped to eleven in the Gold and Silver remakes. Several Gym Leaders became more attractive in both remakes.
- A relatively minor example, but compare Chell in-game◊ to Chell in the Lab Rat comic.◊ The change carries over to Portal 2◊.

All of the links in the Mario example work fine for me, and the Pokémon ones have basic hotlink protection that can be circumvented by clicking the URL and pressing Enter.
They came up as forbidden for me the first time, sorry. and if you have to circumvent something to get to it, it should still be replaced just for ease of use.

Many, many links are killed in the process of the internet changing. Videos are removed, made private, blocked, or simply lost. Please post any links that are dead here and explain what the original video was about and where it was linked to. We will then have contributors look for a suitable replace for the link so that examples stay intact.
