I think both work, though could use some enhancements on the text, especially the first one.

Decent, but I think something bigger than a planet would illustrate better.

I wonder if it would work on That's No Moon?

Weird, I thought That's No Moon had an image. I'm in favor of a crop of #23, perhaps one without the Earth or Executor.

Chop off the Executor. It's misspelled in the image anyway. Maybe add a link in the caption to the full-size image.

[up][up] I like that one best. The full image will definitely be linked.

Fridge Logic: Now I'm wondering why they didn't just build a bunch of original Death Stars instead.

Besides Palpy's need to compensate for his own shortcomings, the DS 2 being so much bigger meant it could fit an even larger hypermatter reactor and thus fire the superlaser more often. DS 1 needed a few hours between shots and a full day for a planet-buster. DS 2 could fire once every few minutes.

EDIT: But, it's a superweapon. It's not exactly practical to begin with. The Empire would've been a lot better off using the funds and resources to build warships, but they're not as scary (ref. Tarkin Doctrine).

25.2 look good enough for me.

Crowner between the various iterations of the Moon/Death Star pic?

I like the Moon and Death Star 2 pic. I can't even read out what those other small things are suppose to be in the first pic.

One other possibility: the Magog World Ship from the TV series Andromeda.

Oh, that's what that thing I linked earlier was? I prefer that over the Death Star, myself, on account of 'bigger than a planet' being more demonstrative than 'smaller than a (planet-sized) moon'.

I gotta say, these are all really good suggestions. I'm initially going to downvote a few of them, but if we come to a deadlock later on, I'll vote for whichever is still going the strongest. I don't care if my own suggestion wins or not.

How did I miss the Magog(?) warship earlier in the thread? That one is incredible.

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.

I like the Magog one. I downvoted Taa as it looks no bigger than the ISS.

[up] The ISS is pretty damn big if it dwarves multiple planets then. :p

It's the perspective that annoys me on Taa.
