Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.
For the interested, here's a list of recently created pages. Launches
Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues thread.

Unlaunched and suspended.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I should note that they did acknowledge their mistake and apologize to me over PM. I sent them the TLP Guidelines.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessOpen Matte was launched at net 3 hats (+5/-2) without notice. The draft didn't really get any discussion other than the sponsor's comments, either.
Also, checking again about Brickfilms, which was stealth-launched from a draft that had been idle since 2019 and had only three responses.
Unlaunched Brickfilms and commented. Unlaunched Open Matte and suspended ~Vulcan Troper.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Were there any edit history from Brickfilms before it was unlaunched?
ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔|I DO COMMISSIONS|ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔I'm not sure where to put this, but I've migrated How Not to Write a YKTTW to How Not to Write a TLP Draft, and turned the former into a redirect for the latter.
Open Matte's been relaunched again with no notice, at least this time at a net 4 hats.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Should we put a hold on it?
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢Unlaunched it again, suspended that troper, who was its owner this time
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"That needs a custom title, as it currently reads "...Write ATLP Draft."
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I've requested one.
Looks like Open Matte is going up for grabs very soon, as the person who rogue launched it the first time responded nearly the exact same way as the draft's sponser.

Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢I noticed that too. Very very weird, but their edit histories aren't very similar so I'm not sure what's going on.
Anyway. Unwritten Rule has an active sponsor and plenty of examples and hats, but the description has numerous issues I've been asking them to fix for months now.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessMy guess is since the second person said they're not used to the forums on this site, they had no idea how to make an appeal, so they copy/pasted the latest comment on a similar issue to make sure they did it "right." But if that's not it...then that's really weird, yeah.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I've got a question about Formerly Friendly Family (which was launched on the 18th).
It feels like this trope is a super-trope to a number of other tropes, but it also looks like the trope relationships haven't been defined. For example, I became aware of this trope when it was added to a page I watch for a Cain and Abel situation that's already listed under that trope. All FFF says is 'See...'. My question is whether there's a distinct enough difference between this and certain other tropes in the sense that this would cause needless duplication to have the same example under both tropes (in other words, we're dealing with a supertrope/sub-trope relationship, so it shouldn't be listed under both tropes).
It doesn't seem to have tried to define its trope relationships prior to launch. Does it need to define its relationships better? If so, I'll take it to trope relationships thread.

If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.~Chabal 2 launched Stab The Storm after ages of inactivity, and with many people on the draft having wanted a name change to Accidental Lightning Rod.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessAn Ice Death has been rogue launched by LWE 200760. They never participated in the discussion and left the various problem notations in place.
It's also a stealth launch, as the draft hasn't been touched since July.
I have marked An Ice Death as Rogue Launched.
Dinner and a Breakup launched when the draft had net 1 hat (+5/-4).
Unlaunched and warned, as the launcher was the OP.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportTrans Subtext was rogue launched when the draft had 5 hats but 8 bombs. As the history shows, Tropegod is the offender.
Tropegod seems very new to TLP, so that's not surprising.
EDIT: They rogue-launched Can Always Spot a Cop and Loss of Inhibitions too. This indicates they're type of person who assumes anything with a launch button is good to go, which isn't great. Just hollered a mod.

It’s clear that they aren’t aware that the TLP process takes time and that they shouldn’t try (and don’t need to) to rush drafts.
back lol
