Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.
For the interested, here's a list of recently created pages. Launches
Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues thread.

Cool. How are we doing this, make new TLP-s? Or just make new pages with Mod Powers?

Thanks.

she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportPerhaps just a minor problem with Guard Stations Terminally Unattended, but:
- It's true that it has incorporated "heroic" examples (as inversions), but perhaps the description could be rewritten to cover the "heroic" concept better.
- It doesn't have enough examples yet.
- Is "Terminally Unattended" really apt to describe the trope?
What do you think?
We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenzaDefinitely not a fan of the name. It's long and clumsy, and my initial impression from it was something related to The Guards Must Be Crazy.
Sesame Street/International Coproductions has not yet been prematurely launched, but it has 5 hats despite only two people commenting on the draft and being nothing but a list of "[Name], the [country] coproduction". I'm concerned.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing. So, what's the process for splitting Armor Meter Points?
Make sandboxes for each trope and take them to the Locked Pages thread for creation, when complete?
Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576That's acceptable.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportMade Sandbox.Armor Meter and Sandbox.Armor Points. Totally not complete yet, need to add context on precisely how the meters and points are represented.
And change the descriptions up between them.

Medieval Universal Literacy was rogue launched.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI reverted it to the original state and transferred the edits to the draft.
ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔|I DO COMMISSIONS|ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔I think Medieval Universal Literacy was rogue-launched again, even if it was the OP this time. They ignore the Up for Grabs rules, they announced the launch in mere hours, and they are quite rude in the comments. They abandoned the draft for years and now they have ownership issues...
It probably doesn't warrant another un-launch, but I thought I would mention it.
ETA: The page was launched with a Zero-Context Example with bad Example Indentation. Also, there are six examples of Averted Trope, which is basically non-use. Aversions are notable only for omnipresent tropes... which this one is not. Perhaps it was too soon for launch?

Bump.
ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔|I DO COMMISSIONS|ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔I have to agree; they even snapped at Xfllo for "fighting their battles for them" (in reality just asking Chabal to use goddamn namespaces, which is a valid complaint regardless of who's draft it's voiced on, but I digress).
Those ownership issues and refusal to edit the description is very worrying.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessSesame Street International Coproductions has been rogue-launched.
TLP. There was still an ongoing discussion about what the page should look like, what kind of index it would be etc.
wingedcatgirl called it.
Bumping on Sesame Street International Coproductions. Not even I am sure on what is this. If this is an index on the international versions of Sesame Street, then all of them should be namespaced. It's not even bulleted.
Also, what to do with Medieval Universal Literacy? The OP seems to have violated some protocol on the guidelines, even relaunching the draft hours after it was rogue launched the first time. Seems to be in a rush on launching this without a good reason just to launch it.
Check on Xfllo's comment regarding the matter. Also the comment section on the draft.

ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔|I DO COMMISSIONS|ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔Unlaunched Sesame Street International Coproductions and suspended the user doing it. What's wrong with Medieval Universal Literacy exactly?
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"For reference, here's the draft for Medieval Universal Literacy, since I don't think anyone linked to it after the most recent launch. This comment struck me as particularly rude.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. This is how it went down.
- the OP wrote the draft in 2013, but it was abandoned in 2014 (later stated that for this reason: "I don't appreciate people launching my YKTT Ws, even if I set them aside years ago from the constant nitpicking.")
- it was bumped in the TLP salvage/discard project
- there was some discussion and it collected hats without improvements on the draft description
- nobody claimed it for launch or announced the launch
- it got rogue-launched and un-launched
- OP noticed his draft got launched
- their attitude: 'nobody touches my thing' & 'I don't appreciate others nitpicking' & 'I will launch it myself for real this time' (implied 'as quickly as possible so that nobody manages to provide more annoying feedback that I would have to deal with')
- their waiting period: 8 hours
- the launched page has 6 Averted Tropes (non)examples, but it's not an omnipresent trope, so the examples are not very notable
- minor issue: there was one ZCE with wrong example indentation upon launch
- even less relevant: I thought the OP was really rude to me for no particular reason; really I just bumped a 5-year-old draft because I thought it's an okay, tropeworthy concept and I hoped someone would adopt it. Then I wrote a comment to another contributor to use correct formatting, namely namespaces, which angered the OP
Personally I don't think it has to be unlaunched, but zarpaulus should be reminded of Up for Grabs policy. And we should decide what to do with the averted examples.

Well, let's get ~zarpaulus here to talk about it.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"For one, the description was poor, but you only called the complaints against it "nitpicking".
