The All Purpose Tokusatsu Fan Fiction Thread

So does anyone have any Kamen Rider fanfics they would recommend? Curious to see whats out there.

The Next Decade has a promising start, but is apparently a Dead Fic with only one (short) chapter.

Fate All Riders: Fate Zero, every Servant summoned is a Kamen Rider.

Code Decade: The Rider Rebellion comes very highly recommended, being Kamen Rider Decade Fusion Fic'd with a bunch of anime.

Geass Rider: Zero Knight, by the same author, is also a fun read, though it's kinda dead, apparently.

Finally, surpassing all these others, is Rosario to Kiva and Love Hina Double Trouble. I'm sure that the author, Kamen Rider Chrome, has some other good fics as well.

Love Hina Double Trouble is the story where some bitter dude frames Makoto and Naru for killing some guys, and the Police buy it due to how violent they can both be right?

Man, I've never been sure how to feel about that, though as I understand, after he Hannibal Lecture 's the hell out of them, Keitaro gives him one right back over how he's a massive dick who deserved to be beaten up.

And he's not wrong.

Kamen Rider School Days comes to mind for good Chrome works.

I have a strange new idea for a group of antagonists. They are called the Demiser and they are pretty much a group made of monsters who possess various skills and supernatural abilities. Having recently broken free, they desire to make the Earth theirs. They do this by having the Monster of the Week 'curse' a place and they try to make people or in some cases a specific victim view it negatively. Doing so will cause the place to produce magical energy or something that begins to spread allowing the Demiser to influence it or make it their territory or something.

What, like scaring people off of a property so you can buy it yourself cheaper?

Okay, this picture has me thinking of an old idea I had for a while.

A Deconstruction Fic of the typical Gary Stu fan fic, in which the Red Ranger is a tough as nails leader (I'm basing him off Jayden from Power Rangers Samurai, who I think is a pretty good Red Ranger) and treat the new Sixth Ranger like how the Animorphs treated David. Like shit. The other rangers might follow the Samurai Expys.

I... can't really see that, for the simple reason that most Rangers are fundamentally nice people.

Then again, if they're expies, then that does open some fluidity.

The animorphs weren't bad people so much as they were paranoid teenagers.

But by the end quite a few of them had become bad people, true?

-Mass Effect 3: Project Super-1 http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8741772/1/Mass-Effect-3-Project-Super-1 (The Normandy found Kamen Rider Super-1 on Pluto just after the Virmire Survivor was incapacitated, how would he adapt after being awaken almost a hundred years after? And did I mention Super-1 is SIC based, too? XD)

-Kamen Rider vs Capcom http://www.fanfiction.net/s/7771414/1/Kamen-Rider-VS-Capcom (I'm rewriting this into "Toei vs Capcom", starring the rest of Ishinomori's Heroes and others owned by Toei. The Super Sentai are limited to the Gorengers, Gokaigers and the new ones after them. The story is based on Marvel vs Capcom 3's cinematic trailer. No, for convenience sake, the Riders WON'T be SIC based. The Ishinomori heroes, however...)

So... Yeah. If it's alright, do you all mind giving them a read? I know there maybe some fuck-ups I missed, and your reviews might help me improve myself too.

And I'm currently experiencing a burnout; I want to continue them all, but I just can't think of a way how.

Oh, and there's this one story idea I have; "Echoes and Ashes" a crossover between Kamen Rider Hibiki and Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams. Yes, the Oni Riders are SIC based XD

Does Power Rangers count as Toku?

It's an adaptation of Super Sentai, which is definitely toku, so I would say that it is. For that matter, according to the toku page, even Smallville and Doctor Who could be qualified as purely Western tokusatsu.

The majority of toku shows are Sentai and/or Henshin Hero, though.

I know they're not Toei, but is there any chance of that Capcom fic having representatives from Tomica Hero Rescue Force and/or Tomica Hero Rescue Fire? Also, on the Capcom side, PLEASE tell me it has someone from Mega Man Legends. Preferably Volnutt or even Roll Caskett instead of Tron Bonne.

I never watched any of the Tomica Rescue Heroes. Sorry.

I haven't gone far with the fic. The Original Megaman is there, as a major role, however. I don't exactly grew up with Legends, if I add them simply for fanservice I feel kinda bad. I do understand everybody's love for that game, and yes, Capcom is a total douche for cancelling Legends 3.

But I'll think of something. Volnutt is still stuck inside that mine, right?

Anyways, the Big Bad is Dark Decade, who came from the first Climax Heroes games.

The first Legends and the first X are the only Megaman games I've played so far, and I like Legends a lot more. Mostly because of the gameplay.

So many Megamen~ XD

What do you think of the rest of my stories?

I was halfway through my squee of justice upon seeing a Kamen Rider Amazon fic when I realized that it was an MLP crossover. Beyond that, I don't know enough about Mass Effect to check out the Super-1 fic, and I might check out the Kuuga fic later. I'll probably mentally see him as his regular series costume, though, purely because I don't know what the figures look like.

Quasi-relevant: Toku vs. Capcom vs. Tatsunoko vs. Whatever

Four characters each from the Anime, Live-Action Toku, Videogame, and Western Animation categories slug it out.

Anime contenders: Tekkaman Blade, Guy Shishioh, Casshern, and Lucy

Toku contenders: Tommy Oliver (Season 2; White Ranger), Kamen Rider Kuuga, Ranru Itsuki (AbareYellow)

Videogame: Mega Man Volnutt, Raiden, Enigmatic Soldier

Cartoon: Starscream Animated, Ruby-Spears Proto Man

As you can see, I still need one more toku representative, one more videogame representative, and two more cartoon representatives. Suggestions?

Also, I just remember that I played the first Battle Network. I also liked it a lot more than X, as much due to the gameplay as the story.

lol Sorry to disappoint ya, dude.

Yes, fanfics involving the Showa Riders themselves are few, and the good ones are even fewer imo. And yes, I know Fi M isn't for everyone, but storywise, is it good? That's what I want to know from everybody. If you're worried Amazon won't go "DAI-SETSUDAN!" on monsters, you need not worry. Oh, did I mention that the rest of the Showa Riders pop up as well? All 11 in SIC form?

lol Can't you just Google SIC Kamen Rider Kuuga? It's quite easy XD If you do so, you'll see Kuuga figures, one look friendly (new version), and the other fierce (old) and since I can't decide which to use, Imma use both. Imagine the default friendly look getting angry and changed into the fiercer one.

As for the M Ex S 1 fic, no worries, it happens during the last ME game, and I added a bit of exposition about the events that happened in the last two. (According to my gameplay, that is XD)

I still prefer the series version out of principle.

You took the Kamen Rider series' most awesome Berserker and crossed him into a Slife Of Life series where the fighting is typically relegated to season premieres. That said, since it's in written form - and therefore, I don't have to hear any annoying voices - I might try to slog through it later.

I'm not familiar with any of those suggestions. Granted, I have a few episodes of Garo saved up, and just haven't had the time to watch them yet, so I might implement that. Animated!Starscream will be the only Transformer, though.

Their forms may be based on the SIC figures, but the men themselves are based on the TV version. With some Spirits personality added in them.

But, okay. I never said "I order you to imagine them in their SIC Forms when reading this fanfiction!" or whatever. If you want to imagine them based on their TV/Spirits incarnation, I'm cool with that.

I know, but it's crazy enough to work, isn't it?

Who says that there won't be many awesome fight scenes? I've been thinking of scenarios where the Riders fight monsters based on mythology (any one of them) and fantasy characters.

Does the sound of Sky Rider vs Bahamut interest you? It's the Dungeons and Dragons version, btw.

Also, I remember that one of the Labors Hercules did was taming wild carnivorous horses. They'll fight them... And there will be blood.
