I would be fine with AudioPlay/ as a namespace.
Would AudioPlay/ include things like Drama CDs? Yandere No Onna No Ko, for instance.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerI assume so, though I'm completely unfamiliar with the work in question. It's a superset of Radio (Play). ("Play" as in theatre, not as in game.)
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee. If Video Game Systems are going to be moved out of Main/, there ought to be a Platform/ namespace. I really don't want them shoved into UsefulNotes/ (except SNES CDROM) with all the other useless stuff in there.
Technically, they're indexes, so they don't need to go anywhere.
Technically, a lot of Creator/ pages serve as indexes now. Should they not do so?
Technically, aren't they still both indexes and pages for the creators? If they're indexes to begin with. Technically.

Check out my fanfiction!Folkage! Those of you interested in the process of creating new [media] namespaces may want to know about this discussion.
Oppression anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere.I'm not sure why Recap wouldn't work for that. I'm just leery of adding more namespaces.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"A Recap doesn't work because a) a work might not be told chronologically and b) if there's a backstory, there's a good chance it won't be told chronologically. Recap wouldn't work for this, for instance.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerEh, I could consider adding a Timeline/ namespace, but I'd like to have example pages for which it's necessary.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWe have a Timeline.Homestuck page. Because if any series needs a straightforward explanation of its chronology, it's one that has eight different universes (none of which synchronize with each other chronologically), several characters with time travel powers, and which uses Anachronic Order like it's going out of style.
Well, I see 3 pages in this namespace. I'll support the motion to make it an official namespace.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanMaybe use Timeline.Home Page as the index?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanOk, I've gone ahead and added Timeline/ to the namespace list.
As an aside, can we have a Fanspeak/ namespace for these pages that aren't supposed to have examples both on- and off-page?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI would think that Fanspeak terms would fit fine under Useful Notes—isn't that where we already stash them?
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee. If that is true (and reading the Useful Notes page, that seems a bit like misuse of the namespace - it really doesn't fit #1 and #2 there), I'd like to have a definitive policy statement.
For the record, it's things like Kuudere that inspire the question.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI thought 1, 2, and 3 were three different possible reasons for having a Useful Notes page, not requirements that must all three be met. But that's just my interpretation; we may want a more authoritative opinion.
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee.Well, we had a discussion about how these pages have grown so prevalent that they are almost a shadow Wikipedia, so I'd like to have some restriction there.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI fail to see how putting terms like Kuudere under Useful Notes would not at least fall under both #2 and #3. #1 is debatable but I don't see it as a necessity. As an alternative to a Fanspeak namespace, it has a great deal of merit.
Quite frankly, it is far more applicable to the wiki's mission that many other things in Useful Notes.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Such a solution (Useful Notes) is being used on Pettanko already. We could use it on things like kuudere as well.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI think we could use a Toy (or maybe Toy Line) namespace, mainly because, well, we have the Toys index.
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)
Ah, here's the thread I wanted to find!
I want to second Oreochan's suggestion for an Audio Play/ namespace. Even if we put radio audio plays under Radio/, that still leaves a large number of audio plays created during the 1960s, '70s, '80s, and '90s (between the time TV killed radio as a dramatic format, and the rise of the web) that have no place to go.
This is not a theoretical question: I actually have a work page I'd like to make, but have no valid namespace for it.
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee.
