Consulted the other wiki and this is the proper spelling, or at least the most proper spelling that looks good at this size.

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickGoogle is lying to you. I first thought you were putting Enrish for "sleep" above that fan. Wrong diacritic, but you wrote "suliibu" in katakana above that second fan.
I'd put the proper characters for manga up, but my work computer doesn't have the appropriate fonts added.
EDIT: Ninja'd. Though since "manga" is a native Japanese word, you'd use hiragana and not katakana for it when not using kanji.

Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Ah, that one looks good.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerWithout using a Japanese font program... I loled.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Precisely.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerYes, hiragana and katakana only. Still, it was actually easier to fit the Japanese on those icons than the English.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickI would say make a copy that actually says "anime" and "manga" though if ya can.
And a "エッチ fan" banner

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!No on that last one. I'll see if I can squeeze English onto those.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickAww no ecchi?
I would buy a Magical Girl badge (if I get some spare money)
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!I know it's upside-down. It doesn't make a pretty heart if it's not. Version with English.

Very nice!
This may not be the best, but how's this for Video Games?

I now go by Graf von Tirol.Oooooooo, I didn't notice that.
Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.Could we reuse these for the namespace icons? There's a thread in IP...
One Piece blog Beyond the LampshadeNamespace icons are a whole 8px smaller on each side. That's a lot.

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickFor the Japanese anime and manga badges, why not just make the manga one greyscale?
Because colour is prettier and they don't look as good greyscale.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickThe badges have to look appealing for people to want to buy them with money.
Quod gratis asseritur, gratis negatur.Could we represent anime with a stereotypically "anime" face, and put that face inside an open book for manga?
We can have more than one badge for a fandom. These aren't going to be like the namespace icons where there's only one choice and we use that everywhere.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickGot everything updated, including changing the opening a bit by replacing the "let's make some badges" with general info about the badges.
Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie!Maybe a greyed-out Herald badge for heralds outside their own forum?
Hyperforce Go! http://vmkid.me/That's redundant because the Herald badge only appears inside their forum.
"Yup. That tasted purple."Yeah, and he's talking about changing that.
That's not katakana. That's kanji, and editing kanji on 24 x 24 sounds nightmarish.
Anime is written in katakana by default because it is not Japanese in origin.
