Pages that Need Crosswicking

The Strongest Sage With The Weakest Crest and subpages needs some crosswicking done. I sent notifiers to the people who added entries to the pages at some point this year and crosswicked an entry I'd added myself just now. I'll try to get a few, and maybe check for ZCE, a bit later.

Hello! My name is T Cmon and I need a trope that I made recently to be crosswicked. It's called Housepet Pig.

The article launcher should be the one who crosswicks the new page's examples into the pertinent articles, be it a trope page or a work page.

Randomized Transformation is all done crosswicking, except for Toys.Bionicle and TabletopGame.Dungeons And Dragons. I can't figure out where they wicks go.

I came across an orphaned page called Cragne Manor; I've put it on a few indexes, can I have some help crosswicking it? There's only 14 tropes on it, it shouldn't take that long. I haven't played the game yet myself, but I have access to it and plan to expand the page later.

A couple years ago, I had a very unpleasant and contentious series of exchanges over the TLP draft for Genius Burnout with its sponsor, KJ Mackley. They had strong ownership issues with the draft and refused to make badly needed corrections and I finally gave up and left the TLP for some time afterwards because of my bad experience with them.

I recently decided to go back and do the significant grammar and wording cleanup the trope required, all of which I had brought up at the time, and rightly so.

When I went to crosswick the corrected entries, I discovered that the troper apparently didn't bother crosswicking the trope when it was released. I have already taken care of some examples, though not all. Given my experience with the troper, I have no desire to interact with them by sending crosswicking notifiers, nor do I want to go to the trouble of tracking other tropes they released to see if they were crosswicked, though if this one is any indication, that likely didn't happen.

They don't seem to have been actively editing since January 2021, though I thought it should be noted.

If the troper in question has been inactive since one and a half year ago, there isn't much we can expect on their part regarding this case. The page is now subject to the rules of long-living trope articles, and if the current number of wicks is lower than the minimum threshold for its current age (12 wicks in one year, 13 to 23 in two to four, and 24 in four and onward), then it'll be in danger of being sent to TRS due to starvation. In the majority of cases, these pages are voted for cut.

You have two options: If you feel enthusiastic about nourishing the article, you can do the crosswicking yourself. If the page ends up reaching at least the Standing status by meeting the 13-to-23 interval (it's currently over one year old), then you'll have done God's job. If you don't feel like salvaging the page, though, then you can let someone either do the crosswick or decide to send the page to TRS due to wick starvation.

Like I mentioned, since the offending troper has been inactive since last year's January, there's little we can expect from them by now, so the page is at our mercy and not theirs.

Just stumbled upon Unique Moment Ruined, which has only two wicks despite 17 on-page entries. (Am I using this thread correctly?)

Yeah, you are fine.

I sent a crosswicking notifier to ~Justice Reaper because they launched the trope two years ago without fully crosswicking it.

Alright, looks like that ping resulted in a couple more wicks getting added by OP. It's not complete, but at least 7>2.

Looks like Iamabrawler did not bother to crosswick the examples on Longest Song Goes First. It's been a few hours now and the related page only shows 1 wick to Nevermind and some indexes.

Have you sent them a notifier on the issue yet?

Sorry for double posting, but some wicks to Longest Song Goes First have been added to their respective work pages, but they're added by bowserbros.

An update on Longest Song Goes First. So... Bowserbros effectively solved the crosswicking issue by bringing the wick count to an acceptable standard of 31, which is appreciated but, it still didn't solve the underlying issue of Iamabrawler shirking their crosswicking duty without so much of a response or acknowledgement. I don't know what more to say...

At this point, we can only hope they don't repeat this mistake. Crosswicking newly-launched pages, be they trope pages or work ones, is always important, because those pages are infants in need of wick nourishment. If the troper neglects the crosswicking duties with a future launch, we'll have to resort to Ask The Tropers, as we now have a precedent recorded here to back up the case study for the newer issue. Unless/until such thing happens, we can only move on and discuss the next case.

Just about 5 or 6 notifiers to the last people to add entries to Anime.Lycoris Recoil, since only a few entries had crosswicks, not counting Creator pages and Indexes.

Magical Profanity Filter, launched 2 months ago, hasn't had all its initial examples crosswicked.

Update: Only one crosswick has been added and it wasn't by OP. Maybe they just haven't been on today, given that they only seem to make an edit or two at most each day (based on their post history).

Alrighty, Deadly Escape Mechanism still hasn't been crosswicked by OP, and they've been active since launch (having made an edit on the 10th). No response to my notifier. All three crosswicks were done by not-OP.
