Progressed the scene with Qord.

Anyway, I'm not sure how/if to progress the Amber/Nyro scene. Maybe them just waving goodbye or something, them chatting and Nyro suggesting they share a bed for "old time's sake" and I pull on a Incest Subtext gag. I feel like maybe they could say a little more then bye figuring who, but I don't know

Oh yea, there's a god being summoned in Amber's bedroom. I feel like she should do something about that.

She could probably notice something "big" was summoned in her room. Summoning something as large scale as Vicelogia leaves a stain, shall we say, in the Mana of the local area.

So, I'm done finals, and I'm ready to come back in. However, I haven't really been paying attention lately, and don't really know what's going on.

What can I get Nathan and Jenna to do?

Well, for one:

Jenna could have snuck along with Daigo and Elisare to the Qord meeting.

And maybe we could have Nathan be led along by Ein Woe up to the room where Nate is talking with Vicelogia.

I support that Ein Woe idea. Nothing more fun than having Nathan completely lose his shit.

And what happened at the meeting exactly?

Currently, Qord just brought in a live police officer in order to see what kind of gruesome magic might get tossed the poor guy's way.

Argh! SO sorry for not posting recently. A sibling was graduating. I will try to post something ASAP, and I will try not to hold the RP up for this long again.

I nearly walked out of Man Of Steel. Hope you have better luck with it.

I did actually. I quite liked it, thought it was a good film.

And you know, the final battle between Zod and Superman was pretty awesome. And dang, that Hero Insurance and Destructive Savior taken to it's logical conclusion. Massive destruction, and massive awesome. That kinda is how I expect what happens when two supers go at it. Things get smashed. Bigtime.

I only hope to write scenes as epic as that one day. The end to that fight, honestly, was sad. Sometimes, you just gotta do it.

Anyway, as for what I did? Well...I could have done it normally, I could have done it regularly. I could have just had Nyro and Amber enter, I really, seriously could have. There was zero purpose to have them there.

Did the scenes with his dad annoy you?

...I am just confused as to the necessity of it.

There wasn't any. Literally, I did it for no reason.

I was feeling very Koishi-like that evening. No rhyme no reason, just did.
And also cause it was funny. But that was after sanity was restored, and I went well "if this post is going to be so short, umm, why not"

Well, might as well have a Big-Lipped Alligator Moment on top of everything else happening.

...Except during the final climax it's revealed that the trio were almighty janitors and that the movie list contains a secret code that is vital in taking down the antagonists.

I am looking forward to seeing how Nate and Amber interact when she finds out he summoned Vicelogia in her room, and is keeping one of his Relics.

Not entirely. A bit of stupidity on that why he didn't send Clark out to get the dog instead...but I do see why he felt the way he did. It was parental fears. He was afraid of Clark being discovered.

Be Genre Savvy here, what would happen if a young, 10-18 year old boy who's a virtually a Physical God and the world finds out. and the world swarms him. Cameras in his face every day, people believing he's something he's not, an entire world fearful of what he can do and a government who might want to know "why is this people indestructible?"

Actually, look to Amber's own comments here.

They had a similar opinion on it. If you're alone, if you're the only one of your kind you will be alone, and thus wind up under a scope. In the MA-verse, it's a little more accepting, since magic and the like in the world exists...

but in the Mo S verse, there is none. There's normal humans and then there's him. Pa Kent foresaw and feared all the terrible ends that could happen. The Pete guy's mother saw him as some sort of messianic figure, the fear that people will swarm him thinking he's some sort of god. Being almost a Physical God who is invunable, and if swarmed and seen by millions as the next coming, it's extremely easy to let it all go to his head. How many times in fiction has that happened where people go mad with power.
If someone goes "why should I listen to you? I can punch you through walls", it's not possible to control them anymore. Pa Kent feared this and did everything he could to prevent it.

The other fear is the other stated one. The government comes and takes his baby (uncensored). The moment something supernatural comes up, a bunch of men in black show up, take away his son and he never sees them again; fearing that they'll turn him into a weapon (control), or throw him in a cage and keep him under a microscope (study), or destroy him (fear).
Pa kent took it to a higher level, thinking that "no, no, never. Never must it drop.". He himself is conflicted by it, such as the scene where young clark saves the bus. When asked if Clark should have let them die, Pa Kent's troubled. Theorically the answer is yes, but he knew it's wrong to let them die. (This followed Clark for the majority of his life, as put by Lois Lane later. If he wanted to stay hidden, he would have to stop helping people. And Clark couldn't)

I think he knew it was going to come out eventually, but Clark well, needed to learn and form his morality and humanity before he was uncovered.

I wanted to have Nyro surprise Amber that while she wasn't paying attention, she essentially figuring out what happened. Mostly by cross-referencing the reading picked up from Khaos and comparing it to Vicelogia's reading, and when getting a similar reading she'd make the assumption they're alike...aka another dark god.
