You should be able to return it. Even if you've already racked up too many hours, it doesn't hurt to try.
Same price on Epic but you can use a 10$ coupon on it that stacks.
Aeternum Quest, a new rpg, just went on sale for 4.99.
It's a fairly simple game, and has a pretty vast 3d world. Simple story, low-powered(so if you hate big numbers, well, this works well. It's akin to Paper Mario in that sense, though very different otherwise).
Looks charming, think I'll give it a shot
I think Steam will honour sale prices if it's in the same 2-week(?) window as their return policy, even it's not in the 2-hour playtime window.
Control was the next game on offer after Prey 2017, but unless you get online in the next 3-4 hours it's probably too late to pick it up.
At the very least we have a (possible) list of the last 4 games to be offered during Epic's Christmas sale:
27th - Mages of Mysteria
28th - Moving Out
29th - Salt and Sanctuary
30th - The Tomb Raider Trilogy
Again, it's not 100% confirmed - at one point rumors were swirling around that Humankind would be offered, but now that looks like it was false - but this list seems a bit more plausible.
Credibility is quite sketchy, given Salt and Sanctuary is still not available for purchase on Epic as of the time of this post.
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)Well, Mages of *Mystralia was just added to the service today, for its free release. Could be the same for Salt and Sanctuary, maybe. Or not, who knows.

It's not. It's pretty great, though (my SO got it on a Humble Bundle earlier).
Echoing hymn of my fellow passerine | Art blog (under construction)And now Moving Out is available to download from the Epic Store, only for today of course. And the next clue in the present giftwrapping is a salt shaker.
I believe it's safe to say that list I provided earlier shall prove to be completely accurate.
Salt and Sanctuary was indeed today's mystery game on EGS, freshly added to the shop.
I see your rank was well-earned, Sgt. Ricko.

From today until January 28th, you can pick up Relicta for free on the Epic store. Don't know too much about it; not many reviews exist, nor was it a popular game on Steam, but it seems to follow in the vein of First Person Puzzle titles like Portal or The Talos Principle.
However, it's the free game afterwards that you'll probably want to keep an eye out for - Daemon Ex Machina. It's basically a spiritual Successor to Armored Core, and a well-made one to boot. Don't expect much from the multiplayer community - while PvE modes exists (alongside a VERY limited Pv P mode), it's not the main draw of the game, and seems to serve more as endgame content for those looking to complete their collections of mech gear.

Relicta is a fun little puzzler. It tries a little too hard sometimes, and doesn't really make up it's mind as to whether it wants to be Portal or a horror tone, but the puzzles are solid gravity manipulation.
This February's Humble Choice features:
- Black Book, an indie deck-builder/RPG where you play a witch in late 19th century Russia. Slay the Spire meets The Witcher, basically. I got it on a previous Steam sale and it's extremely My Thing. 100% recommended; at USD 11.99 for the whole bundle, it's a complete steal.
- Borderlands 3. Major AAA title, not much else I can say.
- Paradise Lost, an adventure/exploration game set in the ruins of an alternate-history Europe devastated by nuclear war. Don't know much more about it, but my SO has been looking into it for a while.
I skipped last month, and I'll be skipping this one as well - especially since I already own Borderlands 3, and ultimately didn't care much for it.
Part of me is thinking it might be a good idea for Humble Bundle to begin offering a "greatest hits" bundle consisting of titles from their most popular past months, or even occasionally re-release some of the older games offered. Cause they're starting to run out of options here...

I have two that I'd like to mention:
First, Humble is running an anti-cancer bundle.
Specifically, the page linked above indications "100% donated to cancer research", with the Swedish "Cancerfonden" being the beneficiary.
And then, since I'm here, let me mention that GOG is running a mid-week horror sale.
That sale includes quite a variety of horror titles: exploration-based games, shooters, point-and-clicks, and so on.
It also runs from classics like F.E.A.R. Platinum, Sanitarium, and the recently-released Shadow Man Remastered through to more-modern indie titles like The Medium and Amnesia: Rebirth, or the in-development World of Horror.

With recent events in Ukraine, gog.com and 11 bit studios, have a 7 day promotion where the complete edition of This War of Mine will be discounted to $4.07 and all profits will go to the Ukrainian Red Cross.
There are many great games like Celeste in there.
SoundCloudUnfortunately, as an itch.io promotion, the good games are a bit buried in the indy version of shovelware, and nothing is added to your account until you download it.
I just got Prey on Steam when the Winter Sale kicked off, fml
