Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! I'm editing this OP and pinning it to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.

Dont look me like that, you walk right into it.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Today, I am going to watch... Guardians of the Galaxy!
"Scooby Dooby Doo!"Have fun. Its a pretty fun one.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersWhat? I thought that was a sure thing, especially since Gabriel Luna is pretty popular right now.
Either it's gonna be on Disney+ as a PG-13 series, or it'll never go up at all.
I've heard that Marvel Studios wants to do something with Ghost Rider (either a movie or a Disney+ show). Maybe that's why Marvel Television's GR show for Hulu got cancelled?
Never much cared for the Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider, but sad nonetheless.

On the other, this frees up GR to appear elsewhere in the MCU, potentially even actually connected to everything else. He's too big of a character to just drop.
They should definitely keep it as Robbie Reyes though.
This song needs more love. Now that they're rebooting Blade and are doing a Doctor Strange sequel, maybe they're eventually working towards a Midnight Sons movie. Especially since the distinguished competition's Justice League Dark film has fallen by the wayside.

That figures. It really does figure that the one Latino superhero in the entire MCU...doesn’t get his TV series to go forward. It really does.
So I'm guessing Yo Yo and that Magneto-like dude don't exist anymore?
I don’t know who you’re referring to. The only major Latino character of note in the MCU last I checked was Luis.
Yo-yo still has an entire season of AOS before she doesn’t exist
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI guess he means Joey, from Agents Season 3.
EDIT: Yeah, and Yo-Yo too.

And cancelled during Hispanic Heritage month too.

And it gets better. The rumor is that they want a proper MCU Ghost Rider film...with Johnny Blaze.

Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.I have watched Guardians of the Galaxy!
Summary: A Ragtag Bunch of Misfits must save the Universe from a Kree fanatic called Ronan the Accuser.
Stan Lee cameo: A Xandarian ladies' man.
Observations:
- The Marvel Studios Vanity Plate doesn't start the movie. A flashback to Peter's mother dying and him later getting abducted by aliens, I mean, the Ravagers does. And the necessary info is dumped right after it.
- I like how Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket, Groot and Drax the Destroyer bond with each other. They start off as cold, mostly professional and then they become Fire-Forged Friends. D'awww...
- Ronan wasn't that memorable to me. He just wants to honor his ancestors by wiping everyone in his way (especially non-Kree civilizations that make the crime to dare sign a peace treaty with the Kree Empire). Even when he betrays Thanos and holds the Power Stone for himself, hexs an Anti-Climax Boss at the end. Or I am wrong.
- D'awww, Groot, it's so sweet how you make light... wait, Groot, what are you doing? You're sacrificing yourself (to protect your friends, of course)? Nooooooo! You were my favorite! Hey, at least you survived and start to grow again!
- Aaah, the Collector is here! Not too important, his lair is destroyed.
- Cute doggy with astronaut costume! Who's a good doggy? Yes you are, Cosmo the Space Dog!note
- The Infinity Stones' origins are revealed.
- Thanos has a bit larger role here, I guess. Oh, and he was also Terrence Howard'd, too. By Josh Brolin.note
- So, the Nova Corps in the MCU are like some sort of space police, I guess.
- I loved space and spaceships as a kid! So, why hate this movie?
- There's a fair dose of explosions in this movie.note
The Stinger: Again, two:
- Groot, now a baby, dances on Peter's music.
- Howard the Duck has some words for the Collector.
9/10!note
"Scooby Dooby Doo!"Oh the irony.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I'm sorry to say that Groot didn't actually survive, per se. The baby Groot is more like an offspring or reincarnation, with a blank slate of memories, according to James Gunn.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Well this bites.
