That too. Nimrod or Bastion (possibly with some backing from the Prime/Bio-Sentinels) would've worked well with the Days of Future Past stage, for starters.
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadI'd be down with Omega Sentinel (Karima Shapandar) myself.
I wouldn't mind seeing that Sentinel design from the X-Men Evolution series make an appearance. I always thought it looked cool.
Just go with Bastion, he was interesting in X Men Next Dimension
Even though that game was balls.
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowI would've been ok with that. Would've been an interesting take on a playable Sentinel.
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadThat game was the greatest thing ever. You could throw people with Sabretooth from halfway across the screen. And get trapped in walls with amazing frequency. And the cinematic supers were effected by things in the stages, so if you hit a wall halfway through the positions of the two characters could go crazy out of whack.
And there were moves that weren't in the movelists.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Seeing how Street Fighter Four got three upgrades and Marvel Vs Capcom 2 has 56 characters I could see maybe see a second upgrade for Marvel Vs Capcom 3, just to keep up.
Viewtiful Joe, seemed horribly nerfed to me before I got kind of familiar with his own games. No level 3? Six Majin, easy. I would also use the flight mode of six machine to make it more like beat plane or something, the cannon just comes off like a weaker version of Ironman's. Also, he should have the scratch and split effects from the DS game worked in somehow...and those other two or three powers I can't remember the name of.
Sexy Silvia could be playable since she would not have to hold up the cannon anymore and could use the blue robot from the second game for a level 3 hyper, the submarine in place of the flying six machine/cannon, a desperado and the replay effect. She is a primary player character, I am still wondering how Trish got chose over her a lot of people.
Next would be a Capcom character from a game not represented. Given who is already on the game's roster I would say Zack&Wiki or Asura from Asura's wrath. I kind of prefer the former two, given their lack of representation in these kinds of things and the fact there are no pirates to be found but Asura's lines kind of write themselves (we could finally hear his dialog with Akuma in English) and Zack's a Heroic Mime...thieving mime?
Finally, we would need a token villain, since Capcom did not really add enough of them. Big John from Viewtiful Joe, Lord Raptor or Jedah Dohma from Darkstalkers, Juri or Urien from Street Fighter, something like that.
Marvel? Black Panther for hero who should have been added, Moses Magnun for Panther Villain, Ronin(Maya Lopez) or Bride Of Nine Spiders for another woman.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackMissing Chuck Greene is missing.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMJust add Bison already.
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowNew final boss confirmed.
@ Cider: Assuming we did receive an update (still an unlikely event at this time, which is weird considering how UMvC3 is still going strong in the FGC and Niitsuma even said we lost characters because of the holiday rush bunglefest), I don't think any of those guys (barring Bison and maybe Asura) would be in the cards, especially not Jedah. It seems more likely that the characters who were put into heavy consideration before vanilla and Ultimate were released would have better chances and possibly even were worked on, at least at a conceptual stage. Unfortunately, that only leaves 2/3 potential characters (Talbain, Gene, and maybe Doc-Ock) out of 12.
As for Trish, I remember reading that she was packaged with Dante, more or less (kind of like how Tifa is the reason Dissidia 012 happened). I'm going to need to verify that, so don't quote me on it. An unexpected choice? Yes. A bad choice? Not in the slightest.
If Joe were to receive a Level 3, it's more likely they'd port over his Level 3 from TvC as opposed to creating one from scratch, especially if it involves Six Majin (I can't see them making another "you control the mecha" hyper in the vein of Ippatsuman, either).
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadWell I certainly wasn't expecting to see someone had already made something like that regarding my horrible pun. :P
Also, I was just watching a Nostalgia Critic video about Loki from The Avengers and it made me wonder: What if Loki was a playable character?
It was only 8, not 12.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMI'm honestly surprised that we didn't get Loki considering how basically every new Marvel character in UMvC3 was product placement for an upcoming project of some sort. Knowing our favorite trickster god, I'd assume he'd be all about long range tactics (via magic) and confusing opponents with his illusions (think Chizuru and Maki, but worse). Probably would be tricky to play (I'd assume he'd be fairly weak and with a low physical constitution), but extremely dangerous in the right hands.
Yeah, I had the numbers from Ultimate mixed up.
The director stated he wouldn't have made the game if Tifa wasn't included. His delivery makes it sound it like the statement may have been a joke on his part, so only take that statement with a grain of salt.
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadSince I've been playing a lot of Onimusha 4 recently, I was wondering what Soki would be like in this game. I know he was in Tatsunoko Vs Capcom, though I have knowledge of what he plays like and what he can do.
On another note, I think Roberto (same game) would make a good character in this game. He very much reminds of Dudley.
I guess that'd depend on how much of Soki would be a direct port from TvC and if Capcom would give him anything else from Onimusha 4.
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadPhoenix Wright sucks you say?
Saw this yesterday. Great set. Lythero is easily the best Nick player as of now. Or at least, the most recognized, and for good reason.
"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiBest I'd have to give to a fellow by the name of Uglywhen (uglywun on youtube). Guy uses the Maya-plink tech regularly, which I see very few Wright players do consistently.
Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity. And yet for the first half of that video, Phoenix keeps getting KO'd.
Maya-plink?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMBasically, properly done, you can "cancel" the recovery of Maya!? with an evidence search. Plinking (priority linking) refers to a special way of one-frame linking. You can check Uglywhen's Youtube channel for a video on it. I'll post it later if I have the time.
Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity.Pick three players who you would like to see at the Capcom Cup.
Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity.
And if they had to have a Sentinel, they could have gone with a specific character like Nimrod, Bastion or the Tri-Sentinel.
