I wish they announce Lizardman already, it's been over a month & those only 2 dlc left. Hard to believe there's 3 characters are already known & 2 of them are still not release yet.

I'm surprised I haven't tried to make any RWBY CAC yet but that can probably be chalked up to the internet doing it way before me.

I still really miss the CAC weapons from III because they where "Generic" while it's hard to see a lot of the other weapons being used by anyone but their intended wielder.

Like, Tira uses a bladed hula hoop and switches stances based on her mood. And Libra of Soul is throwing a whole ton of bipolar assassins who wield weaponized children's toys at me. Ivy and Voldo too really feel like the only people in their world who fight like that.

Although I feel like I'm underselling them by calling them generic, they still packed a lot of character despite not being tied to a particular character. The Knife and Sword+Shield movesets in particular where really great.

Are you honestly saying the setting of Soul Calibur doesn't feel like the place where you'd encounter entire hidden clans of crab-walking sex weirds?

I do think I'm getting the hang of Ivy. I used to be a Mitsurugi main for life but I always wanted to get good as Ivy because... She's Ivy. Problem was she had a complicated Stance System, a tricky spacing style and completely overhauled her moveset every damn game. But I think with 6 I'm starting to get the hang of her. Too bad I can't actually put theory into practice until I get my internet connection problems sorted out.

Oh I do. But I'm the "Fighting Game Guy" among my local buddies so I dominate everyone one way or another. One's been catching up in BBTAG but she's still only beaten me once or twice. XD

Ah yes, that feeling when your friends think you're fighting game guru when in reality you spend just an hour of practicing & that's it.

I'd be a Fighting game guru if I played just one and dedicated all my time to one character. As is I'm currently playing Dragon Ball Fighterz, Under Night In-Birth, BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, Street Fighter V, Blade Strangers, Chaos Code, The King of Fighters XIV, Dead Or Alive 5 and now this all semi-simultaneously and even then I want to sample everyone's playstyle so I don't dedicate as much time to my main as I should.

It's crazy how many people think how good you are when all you is just the fundamental at the end of the day.

I wish I can play many fighting games but a lot of the replay values comes with how interested my friends in the game. It's unfortunately y I drop DBZ Fighterz

Yeah I... Really don't like Algol. For a couple of reasons.

But the biggest one is simply that he... Lacks. He has no screen presence, to put it simply. He completely fails to sell his "Legendary hero king" archetype to me.

Azwel? Azwel steals every single moment. Every motion he makes and every word he speaks explodes with character.

Would you guys like to see the team behind Netflix's Castlevania tackle the Soul Series as a t.v. show?

In theory, yes but I said the same thing about Blazblue & look what happened there. Although to be completely fair a Blazblue anime was probably never feasible to begin with.

Soul Calibur has more of an emphasis on its Ensemble cast than even most fighting games, you can't really say any one character is the protagonist. Sophitia, Mitsurugi, Kilik, Siegfried and Ivy are all in the running bare minimum. So I'd be very interested in how an animated series would handle things.

Which reminds me I wouldn't mind newcomers in the future being assigned to a Cast Herd at this point. Rather than being independent or rivals like Groh/Azwel have Ivy get a Ninja Maid for her valentine estate or have Raphael welcome outcasts like himself into his castle. Hilde seems to be starting hers in Wolfkrone.

Speaking of which, Wolfkrone should remain intact. This is like 70% because I want a throwaway line in Tekken which mentions something like "I'll kick your ass from her to Wolfkrone!" as a clumsy and endearing attempt at Canon Welding.

I recommend that series. Not only was it damn good, but also, the series actually doesn't have a set protagonist. One would think it was Trevor, but Alucard and Dracula have good claims, and Sypha, Isaac, Hector, Lisa, and Camilla all get a lot of focus even given the short runtime.

Problem is, series generally have closure, and Namco's fighting games, like some other series, are closure-averse.

I have imagined a Soul Calibur series, and honestly I'd really like it if they did something like dedicate each episode to one specific character, so Maxi gets one, Mitsurugi gets one, Siegfried gets one, etc.

Yoshimitsu I is in most Soul Calibur games, and Yoshimtisu II was in V. Which Yoshimitsu is it that appears in the Tekken games?

An anime of chronicles of the sword would be nice, but that's my bias.

What would be something is an anime of people living in the sc verse kind of like libra of souls. Maybe an alt take on the cult, living in a malfested world, dealing with vampires and demons and skeletons and whatnot

According to the wiki's trivia section, Tekken's Yoshimitsu is approximately the 40th person to take up the title. But that's from the wiki, so don't quote me on that.
