Chris X: It's not locked, you are just victim to a bug that came with the new Obvious Beta layout. I think there was a solution listed on the thread about the layout bugs.

It looks like Talim is the third from the bottom because all her stuff happens really late in the timeline. Just like we expected.

No character art no hype, but pretty intriguing. If he's actually playable it would make him far more engaging as a character. But Rothion is doomed to die pre SCV so Im curious why would they bother.....
....Unless Rothion would be the way they incorperate Patroklos's moveset into this game without resorting to astral Chaos Timey Wimey mess again.

They are clearly pulling a Mortal Kombat here so no one is destined to die before anything.

Entirely possible; sophitia status changed from dead to missing IIRC a few years ago when they did Lost swords.
Well Sophitia dying is the start of like, arcs for both pat and pyrhha IIRC. Sophitia was sacrificed herself after "Malfested" attacked, which led pat on the war path. Pyrrha herself is only alive because of what Sophitia did.They can sure try to undo the death of one of the faces of the entire series, but thats quiet a big ripple in the timestream to fix.

Again pulling a Mortal Kombat here which is changing the timeline & putting all the characters on a new path that involves preventing characters deaths & making new ones.
Sophita may not even die here & her children may end up completely different people.
It’s what happens in time-travel reboot plots like Star Trek.

- SHE'S BACK! And her design looks great.
- I was beginning to think that the Season Pass exclusive character would be Dampierre. This adds to that fire, to me.
- Article mentions another major single player mode - maybe like Weapon Master or COTS? That'd be great!
- Rothion! Maybe people will stop shitting on him if he's in the game! ...unless they've cowed to pressure and decided to have him die.
I'm so happy for Talim. Now all we need is Raphael and some Koreans, and that'll be most of who I care about.

I don't need Rothion as a playable character. I liked that there was a heroine who kicked ass and had a husband waiting for her at home.

So Talim? I’m neutral but it covers an interesting timeframe in the story canon.
Nice to see Talim back, she was always one of the most fun characters to play!
On Rothion, I've always been indifferent to his character, so I've no opinion either way on the idea of him being playable.
Unless they do something like have him replace Cassandra, that'd probably make me hate him.
