Spoiler Opening has some really ugly, um, spoilered examples in Anime and Manga and Video Games sections. I don't know enough about either topic to sort it out. Anyone?

Since it's a spoiler trope and has the warning, can't we just strip all the spoiler tags out?

I've always had issues with the spoiler tags being taken out of spoiler tropes either way. Examples help us get a better understanding of the trope but most people don't want to have stuff they may get into spoiled for them. It's really counter productive.

But if the page as identifies itself a spoiler trope and says they are to be expected or doesn't need markup, you should probably avoid works your interested in. It doesn't make sense when the page says that they are not necessary and there are spoiler markup all over it.

That's the problem no page should be a spoiler free-zone, even spoiler tropes. Tropes Are Tools that help us understand fiction, understanding how a trope is used at it's core comes in the examples. Even the best descriptions can only give so much insight. Examples are where we are shown how the trope works instead of being told how it works.
If a trope is filled with unmarked spoilers then most people won't go to it beyond the surface of the page, and in most cases won't get a full understanding of the trope which can lead to misuse and under performance.

That's true but people also don't like seeing seas of white space, as it's hard on the eyes and the spoilers may not even be a spoiler to begin with. I personally think spoilers should be only be removed if they are excessive, unneeded or obscure a important part of the trope.

To Love Ru needs help. I tried to scrub a little perversity, but there's scanlation links galore. It's at least a two person job. some natter too...
I took out the links. While some where fairly innocuous many where not. I also tried to make sure the examples made sense with out the links.

Please replace EstrogenBrigadeBait with the trope Mr. Fanservice. And if the character does show any fanservice, then simply remove EstrogenBrigadeBait.

"This is a spoiler page" should really mean "this trope is such that simply mentioning a work may well be a spoiler." Doesn't mean the details can't be spoilered.

I'd like to clean up Plot with Porn, as it has some overly detailed examples. Witness, just from the Anime section: Yosuga no Sora, Yuria 100 Shiki, Take on me (very creepy lolicon vibes in the example) and various more.
I wonder whether I should also remove all examples relating to hentai titles, since those were cut recently, or at least comment them out.

No on your second question. You can un-Wiki Word them, but deleting them is vandalism.
That being said, given recent events I wouldn't be above a fiat-imposed Example Sectionectomy.

As I was fixing the namespaces of the Ace Attorney wicks, I found some anime article called Bomberman Jetters which is in the correct namespace, but turns out the page in the main namespace was not made a redirect, and now we have 2 different articles for the same work (Bomberman Jetters -> main Bomberman Jetters -> anime). What a mess.
