I miss Grant Morriosn's Justice League. From when the Justice League actually did stuff and acted like superheroes.

When I was a kid, I also loved the Spider-man clone Kaine, who would use his clone degeneration to leave burn marks on the faces of people he didn't like called 'the mark of Kaine'!

Music-wise I miss good rap and hip-hop. It died in the late nineties. Sniff.

Also, I would like to point out that I would actually consider the 80s to be the worst decade for music, television and fashion sense. I watched a BBC documentary on music in the 80s which confirmed this. Spin me right round mofo so I can smack you up.

On this we agree whole heartedly.

Also, someone mentioned Darkwing Duck. This means I have to remember everybody ever that there's an awesome on-going series and that you should read it if you want a ticket in heaven.

It's not exactly naive. And it can happen. But it's tough. And definetly worthwhile.

What happened to Negaduck in that continuity? In the old show didn't he get sucked out of time and space or something?

I think they're going for a reboot.

Not a reboot. It's years afterwards I'm pretty sure. There's a flashback where Negaduck coming back was a huge deal.

Man... it seems like just yesterday the idea of a ZOMG COMPUTER ANIMATED SHOW! was so ground breaking and amazing, now it's just "Oh look, yet another CGI show. It's either this, or Flash animation of some kind."

For some reason a lot of Flash strikes me as rather, err, sterile and stiff (yeah, snicker). Somehow My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic manages to make the animation look more fluid and natural.

Also, there is much irony in that I don't think the character designs translate well to 3-D. Guess what?

(ha-ha, could have sworn To Sell Toys was at least a redirect)

Flash did work well in Home Movies, though it helped that it was such a dialogue driven show and didn't need fancy animation. It had more of a feel of a comic strip come to life, if that makes any sense.

This was more my little brother's generation but I did love watching Hey Arnold with him (loved Helga). I remember Ewoks the live action series, Playdays and Gummi Bears cartoon oh and this series about a man dressed in a caterpillar suit who presented with a female host. They would make and explore cool stuff and once every episode they would plant a seed in a pot and place it in a tree with an owl that sat on top, once it cooed the plant was ready and amazing things grew on it like candy canes and mini-cakes. I want that mofo tree! I can't for the life of me remember what it was called, but if anyone else does, please, please let me know!

Aw man Reboot was awesome. Although even as a kid I was confused as to why someone would play games that damaged his computer if he won.

^Maybe it was a very deeply-veiled Take That! at the Sony DRM that posed a massive risk to your computer?

Of course, assuming that existed back then...

Ooh, Bill Nye The Science Guy!

Now that I think about it, I watched a lot more "edutainment" shows as a kid than I did pure entertainment. I blame Mother.
