Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.
Good to hear. Though I've been told that PTSD can be hard to deal with, have you been coping well with that, N?

There’s days when it’s worse, and days where it’s better. But I’ve got people to call my family, even if I never knew my biological parents and my adoptive “father” was a terrible person. And I figure that means I’m doing pretty good.
“You carry the aura of the stars, interesting...”I'm sorry to hear that. I grew up in a high-control environment myself with it's share of neglect and indoctrination. Though I don't know if my experience was as bad as yours, I do know that sort of thing can be hard to deal with. So I'll try to avoid triggering your memories from now on.
On that note, knowing that I'm descended from a king helped me a little bit in coping as a kid. So, my apologies for not being careful of the, erm, dissonance between our pasts.
RE: [2]
Just to clarify, I'm with Wulfenbach in wanting to join Stefan's party.

Please visit the "AITA" forum game[1] Good to hear you're doing fine now.
[2] Noted! Samples incoming - take one a day, starting with 1 and counting upwards. If you start to feel odd, please immediately stop taking the samples and contact me.
Over the course of three weeks, these samples will test compatibility of various nutritional substances - fats, proteins, vitamins, sugars, etc. The substances themselves might not provide as much nutritional value to Aether, Paimon and Albedo, but beyond that, feel free to make up stuff
On that note, a study on multiversal food transportation surely wouldn't be inappropriate
Been thinking about bringing some friends from my homeworld. Though I don't know how good they are at keeping secrets, so maybe that's a bad idea...
Oh, by the way, Gil and Tarvek, since you're political leaders - I don't know if you have automobiles yet or how widespread they are, but if you want to plan cities, this might be very helpful for you.

My arms are a bit sore from today's training. Mina and I are probably gonna go to one of the beaches for a swim and to relax.
Won't other people find Mina's appearance unusual, given that they're unfamiliar with Quirks and how they can alter a person's appearance?
Ehh, I'm sure it will be fine. If they somehow are freaked out by it, I can just reassure them.

I have the Sweet Flowers made specifically to test a substance’s toxicity to me personally. That would probably much safer for me than your idea. In fact, if you give me a few days, I can call in a favour from Sucrose and have them made for others. Although, I would be highly surprised if anything could poison Aether and Paimon.
Oh, I can be poisoned. That much I know from experience.

“You carry the aura of the stars, interesting...”(x4)
Thanks, that was a fascinating video.
We have automobiles, but they're not really used for everyday travel, not even between cities. Also, most of our cities are very old, so rebuilding them to change how transportation works isn't much of an option. Thankfully they're not automobile-dependant.
Actually, wait— Castle Heterodyne, you operate city systems, right? What do you think of this video?
Hmm. It's bizzare. Somehow, the United States made cities even less travel-friendly than Mechanicsburg; and, I might add, without having the city be actively hostile to people. At that point it's less malevolence and more just self-sabatoge.
(OOC: I live in Canada, and I've never realized how car-dependant my area was until I had to ride a bike from the suburbs to a store. Headache-inducing.)
Please visit the "AITA" forum game[1] Alright. I suppose I should do the testing in the universe where we'll have the party?
Yikes. At least, from what Not Just Bikes says, Canada is a little bit better at city planning than the US
Also, Stefan, the video you've linked - by CenterBrain, that infrastructure is so horrible it gives my brain sim runtime errors.

"What I don‘t like about measure theory is that you have to say 'almost everywhere' almost everywhere." - Attributed to Kurt Friedrichs[1] Hello new face!
Nice of you to join us even if the discussion is pretty busy today!
Meet the Tamas!◊ Can't let any of those suckers live!I remember once scanning a article on the decommissioning of personnel motor powered land vehicles. One of My first major projects shortly after the initial riots was the redesign of transportation infrastructure to support the new shipyards and industrial sector rather then entirely being designed for transportation of people. One of the more expensive problems I dealt with was upgrading everything to a standardized 7ft rail gauge.
I look to the stars... but that's mostly because there isn't anything else interesting

In Teyvat, the worst city planning is Sumeru City. Teyvat doesn’t have cars, so that’s not an issue, but the city is designed like a maze of layers. That, and the upper portion of the city (where the Akademiya is), and the lower portion (Treasures Street and the Grand Bazaar) are two completely different places. It’s such a difficult place to get around.
“You carry the aura of the stars, interesting...”[1] Hahaha, oh how cheeky!
Oh I'll make some sandviches alright, hehehehe!
Nah hellhound, your spicy recipe is like a volcanic lava. Only so many tongues can tolerate that kind of heat (it's delicious otherwise though).

Oh, hi there! What's your name?

Is that design intentional? Because I didn't think you can mess up that much accidentally.

Knowing the Akademiya’s pseudo-intellectual, holier-than-thou attitude? Probably.
“You carry the aura of the stars, interesting...”Looks like they hit with the "sus" meme... What hasn't these days?
I think that's Pinky Dinky Doo? aroo.
That sounds like a cute name!

Rule 63!CAC: Speaking of Women's Day, I come from a Gender-Bent Alternate Universe, so in my world, it's International Men's Day. And yes, the sexism is inverted in my world too. Like for example, my world's society frowns on men cursing or women crying.
That honestly sounds like an interesting universe, just because of the new perspective it brings.
Do we want to RP Stefan's birthday? I might be able to plan something interesting
"What I don‘t like about measure theory is that you have to say 'almost everywhere' almost everywhere." - Attributed to Kurt Friedrichs[1] Now you got me curious on how that would be seen.
So an inversion of "gender roles", makes a good story to me!

How was everyone's day today? Marnie and I had some fun at the beach, swimming and seeing who could hold their breath the longest.
I almost drowned! But I didn't!
Jeez, it's a miracle you didn't get yourself hurt. Be careful next time. Anyway, for me it was kind of uneventful, even though I have returned to the rainforest from Paldea to explore again and make some more discoveries.
"I usually specialize in Dragon-types, but now I'm a fairy and specialize in Fairy-types. See the irony?" - IrisWow like you're already swimming? Awesome! Our day is mostly normal junk.
It was pretty easy going for us, how's the beach this time of year in your place?
Meet the Tamas!◊ Can't let any of those suckers live!
The beach was great. The weather was cloudy, but that was good because I didn't want the sun beating down on us with its heat.
The beach was mostly clean, but I did find a few pieces of trash littered on the ground, which I put into the trash bag to keep the beach clean. The water is pretty clear and there are a lot of Water-type fish Pokemon swimming around in the reefs. I try to freedive as deep as possible to see if there are any different Pokemon found based on the depth.
